First established in 1995, Barolos is a multi-award-winning Italian restaurant and more than two decades on it is still regarded as one of Brisbane’s best restaurants.     Beautiful Italian food and the service was also excellent. We had a truly delicious salad to start with the sourdough and truffle honey butter. Not a huge fan of the butter (slightly firmer texture would be better or even a truffle paté and didn’t feel that it needed the sweetness of the honey). We had a spaghetti bolognaise and the mushroom pastas for our mains and the mushroom sauce was exquisite - didn’t even need the meat on this dish. We enjoyed a big red Shiraz with our mains and it was a wonderful foodie experience. Our favourite dessert was the magnum - if only all magnums had this decadently dark chocolate! Beautiful! Our only sadness was that we missed the option of a truffle pasta but the server said we could possibly request this ahead of time which is amazing. We will be back and highly recommend Barolos.

    Lovely food, the Marinara is highly recommended. Good service from the two young ladies in attendance. Not many guests for a Friday lunchtime, and we were next to a table with three pretty loud gentlemen, but overall a nice lunch experience

    We go to this restaurant maybe twice a year. The food was nice and so was the wine. The restaurant was much quieter than we have ever seen it there before.

    Ambience is great, service was fantastic, cocktails were yummy (suggest Chilli Margarita), and the food was outstanding! Strongly suggest ordering the steak and duck, along with sides, such as the tomato salad and broccolini. Couldn’t fault.

    Second time here, again was blown away by amazing food & great service. Staff are happy, well mannered & prompt. Food is well priced and as someone who makes their pasta fresh at home I love coming here as I can tell it's done properly. The Raghu is by far the best I've had in QLD. I also loved the truffle butter. Will definitely be back 😊

    Food was delicious, the wine list interesting, the service was very pleasant- overall a pleasant experience but more appropriate to the atmosphere of a business lunch and we came for a nice lunch out experience. For a business lunch it would be great! We were seated on the deck overlooking the street. Toowong’s main street is suffering from the delayed development of the old shopping centre site so the vibe is not upbeat. The accessible lift was out of service on the day which was disappointing as the website used when booking did say the restaurant was accessible. We would eat there again to sample the food and vibe in the evening!

    I loved the welcome and table service. It is a noisy restaurant but I have been there a number of times as I enjoy the food and staff, plus wine selection. Only issue was I ordered linguine and received fettucine in my dish.
