Go here. The food is amazing. Be warned a level of 3 spice is pretty hot. Everything is fresh and really delicious. The staff is a bit green but very courteous. I can’t wait to eat here again.

Large food and wine/drinks menu, all items ordered came to the table in a timely manner, everything tasted great. Really good and attentive service. No complaints at all. Visited during Valentine's day. The decorations were a nice touch.

My husband and I really enjoyed our eating experience at Bazil's! We had the vegetable samosa, tandoori octopus, lamb vindaloo, vegetable curry and roti. Service was very attentive. We accepted their recommendations for one of a kind desserts! We look forward to going there again!

Third visit since they opened a few months ago, and the food is still excellent. The sauces are wonderful, the portions are ample, and the wait staff was very attentive. Our only complaints: they brought our entrees less than two minutes after our appetizer and they ran out of unsweet tea at 6:00 PM, three hours before closing. Seems minor, but unsweet tea is a very basic staple in any fine restaurant.

We visited on Christmas and they were a bit overwhelmed, not having expected the rush so were significantly understaffed. Delay to meal from a 7:30 open table reservation was 2 hrs. But it’s a new restaurant and they just didn’t plan for everyone in Raleigh to want Indian food on Christmas so cutting them some slack. Atmosphere was pleasant and colorful, food was good. Noise was not high for the size.

My wife and I decided to go "non-traditional" for Thanksgiving dinner this year and booked a table at Bazil. Great choice! There was nothing I didn't like about this place. We got there early, so the noise level was very low. I ordered the Bazil Grill, which is essentially a Tandoori sampler: chicken, lamb, shrimp, and salmon. Very good! My wife is a vegetarian, and she thought the food was first rate. The service was excellent. There was a slight mix up on my order, but our waiter corrected it graciously and quickly. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. Extensive wine selection and good options for beer and liquor. We'll definitely go again. Be advised that Open Table may show available reservations before the restaurant opens. Because of the holiday, OpenTable showed only a few early reservations available. I was able to book a table at 4:45, but the restaurant doesn't open until 5:00. I did receive an updated reservation for 5:00 from OpenTable 2 days later, so all good.

We went to celebrate 2 birthdays. The restaurant is new and I had been wanting to try it. Pretty and clean decor. Nice, polite service. The food was excellent and the portions were large. The owner even gave us a free appetizer to try. We will be back for sure. Best of luck with this new enterprise.

This review is for OpenTable. The site allowed me to book a 4:30 reservation at a restaurant that did not open until 5pm. As a result I had to change my plans at the last minute. Luckily Vic's Italian Restaurant in Lake Boone Trail I'm Raleigh was open and service was great. The food was delicious.

We love Indian food and this is really good Indian food. We were impressed with the breadth of the menu, which included more seafood options than one normally finds at an Indian restaurant. We also found the appetizers excellent, with both vegetarian (which we had) and non-vegetarian options. For an entree, I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo and asked for a higher spice level, and they delivered nicely. My wife had Salmon Tikka Masala, which had more mild spices (her preference) and enjoyed it thoroughly. We normally don't order dessert, but we were on such a roll that we got kheer (rice pudding) and were glad we did. Overall excellent food, attentive service and a very nice atmosphere.

Loved this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was really good. I have celiac disease, and the server was very knowledgeable about gluten free dishes! Will definitely be back!
