    Enjoyed dinner here - they have some fun dishes that are not typically seen at an Indian restaurant! My husband enjoyed the drinks, and our waiter was very helpful and attentive. We'll go back again!

    Food was good though I wouldn’t say superb. No one was wowed and the amount of shrimp in my coconut curry shrimp was lacking - was more like a soup than an entree. The service was very awkward. Our table of four had just received our appetizers when they brought out our “big plates” which made the table setting unnecessarily cramped while we finished the appetizers. We felt rushed with the appetizers and couldn’t understand our server very well.

    Best Indian food since I’ve moved to Raleigh. Been here several times now and nothing has disappointed. We’ve eaten all over the menu and have found some very delicious bites…honey ancho shrimp, biryani, grouper, lamb Angara, hariyali kebab, butter chicken…just to name a few wonderful flavors. I’ve spent a lot of time in India, this place has it right! Enjoy the food and the great service!

    Excellent all around. Nice decor, attentive service, high quality food that was well-seasoned and well-presented. I hadn’t been in before but will be a regular. They were doing a robust take out service but not a lot dining in. Perhaps because I went early but would be a great regular date spot. Great ambience.

    This was my first time trying Indian cuisine. I must say, I'm glad Bazil was my first try. The food was amazing! The service was great and the atmosphere is perfect for intimate get togethers, or for a night out with friends.

    We loved our experience at Bazil! The staff was incredible and our server was one of the best we’ve ever experienced at any restaurant. The food was incredible as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful too. I would highly recommend this place to anyone for your new favorite Indian Food restaurant! It was also super easy booking our reservation with them on Open Table!

    We had a great time for my friend's birthday!! The food was delicious and perfectly prepared! The service was exceptional. No real room for improvement. By the way, this is also a WOMAN owned restaurant and that makes me want to support it even more.

    this was by far the best indian restaurant we’ve been to in Cary. the service was so quick and the atmosphere felt so welcoming from the moment we stepped into it. Abhi was the sweetest and we can’t wait to go back soon. :)

    Our service was very good. Food tasty but portions were small and there was more”gravy” than substance. There are many interesting dishes to try such as the crab tadka…delicious! Just note that can be spicy so check with server.

    This was my second time at Basil. Friends brought us the first time and we brought friends this time. The place was almost empty...surprising. Water was poured for each of us, but it was warm. We should have been asked if we wanted ice. We love Indian food and have tried many places. We are fussy about samosas. The ones at Bazil are very good. We ordered 4, one for each person but could have definitely used more sauce with 4 samosas without having to ask for it. We were asked about our choice of a drink and we wanted wine but nobody followed up with that and they brought the samosas before the wine. I ordered the salmon Tikka and it was delicious. Cooked just right and the accompanying vegetables were good...not overcooked. Everyone enjoyed their food. We would go there again but the service could stand a little improvement.

    Visited with friends and had to come back with my family because it’s so good. Excellent food and attentive, friendly service. We got a few different appetizers and entrees and shared. Everything had a ton of flavor and was cooked perfectly. We’ll definitely be back!

    A group of us wanted to try a new place and we were pleasantly surprised going to Bazil! Everything was so good. We ended up getting Gobi Manchurian, Crab Tadka, Vegetable samosa, & Badami Malai Surf & Turf along with quite a few entrees for the table. I strongly suggest tying the Mumbai Mule, but all the drinks that came out tasted amazing!The family feel atmosphere was great and inviting. We couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was and look forward to coming back!

    I ordered the Paneer Kadhai. It tasted good, but I feel like it had a little too much oil. I think a little more tomato puree + cream would have elevated the dish a lot. As it was, I felt that the excess oil took away from the flavor of the ingredients. Everything else was top notch. My partner ordered the tandoori octopus and she loved it. Same for eggplant bhartha

    An excellent local Indian restaurant with an extensive menu. Both the food and service were outstanding. The service personnel were very knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered six dishes off the restaurant week menu and they were all delicious and beautifully plated. Two dishes especially stood out - Ancho Honey Shrimp and the Hariyali Kebab and are recommended to others. We will definitely be returning to try the regular menu. Yum!

    We decided to try this restaurant during restaurant week because we were in the mood for Indian. We were very pleasantly surprised. I had the shrimp appetizer and paneer for my meal, both at a low spice level. My husband had chicken appetizer and a lamb chop and chicken main dish, at the Indian hot spice level. We were both pleased with the spice level that we asked for and received, and we both felt that our dishes were incredibly flavorful. While the regular menu does have many of the usual suspects on it, there were other items that we have not seen on other menus and we are looking forward to going back and trying some of those dishes. It’s a new restaurant. The wait staff was very attentive, which is not always the case at some restaurants nowadays. This meal ended up being one of those cases where we made a blind decision that ended up being a very good one. We will return.

    Sometimes, you find gems in the unlikeliest places. Bazil is one such gem. We are from NJ, where we are spoilt in a way with a plethora of Indian restaurants, and yet, Bazil, just blew, if not all, at least a majority of them away. The ambiance is great. The manager, Abhi (who is also ths owner's son), is an absolutely fantastic host. He knows the menu inside out and always checks on you when dining. The food is probably the best we have had. We had the gobi manchurian, the tandoori soya chops, and the chicken seekh kababs for apetizers. They were just out of this world. We followed this up with the butter chicken and sea bass cafreal. The butter chicken is authentic and not the cream loaded crap you get everywhere. The cafreal, i have to say was not the authentic you will get in Goa, but Abhi had told us about it. He was honest in telling us that it was their punjabi twist on the cafreal, but it was very, very good none the less! The sea bass was fresh and just complimented the cafreal. We followed this with the gulab jamun thandai mousse and the pan kulfi. The gulab jamun thandai mousse was beyond excellent. Never had this type of Indian dessert before, but if you ever visit this place, it is a must try. The pan kulfi was great as well. We ended with masala chai, which was made well as well. All in all, we had an excellent experience at Bazil. If you are in the area, and you have not tried it, you should. You will have the best gastronomical experience of your life. The staff is excellent, and follow Abhi's lead. They will keep checking on you when you dine. The food comes out quick. Would highly recommend that you visit this restaurant. It's a must if you are in the area.

    Excellent meal with incredibly rich flavors and fresh food. The space itself was lovely and the background music was soothing and supported a low volume environment. Highly recommend this wonderful Indian restaurant.

    Last night, we tried Bazil: overall it was good experience. Positives: ambience, friendly customer service, good appetizers, creative cocktail menu. It was such a refreshing change to find a restaurant who is seeing North Indian flavors. Negatives: cocktails were very mild. I will definitely go back there to relish good food.
