Very nice atmosphere 👌 really enjoyed the food thanks
Dinner was wonderful and the staff was friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back.
Good meal, nice cocktail. John was pleasant server
I would not recommend coming to this restaurant for their Restaurant Week menu. Our caesar salads had about 6 small chopped pieces of Romaine lettuce and the red "sauce" tasted like it was out of a jar. None of the staff were wearing masks despite Philly regulations. Save your money.
Had my 22nd birthday dinner with around 10 guests and the service and food were excellent!!
Food was very good! Staff was also very friendly and attentive.
Date night with my Husband, we enjoyed the evening. The food was great, and the waitress was awesome.
Wonderful experience and great time. Well definitely return
My friend and I had an excellent dinner here during Philly’s September Restaurant Week. Bellini has an agreeable bistro ambiance, lively but not overly loud, and is unique in that its high ceiling is covered with fresco-like paintings reminiscent of the Sistine Chapel. We arrived at 7:30PM on a weeknight - the place was not crowded, and staff was professional and punctual throughout. I ordered antipasto, risotto with shrimp, and veal saltimbocca. I wrapped up dinner with an Affogato, a great dessert choice for those who can’t decide between espresso, liqueur or ice cream since it has all three. All dishes had great taste and presentation, and the portions were manageable – I didn’t need a doggie bag! In sum, a memorable dining experience!
Went during Philly restaurant week, all 3 courses were excellent. Friendly/courteous service, will definitely go back.
The people are very attentive and polite. The ambiance is amazing and food was delicious. Will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends.
The food was okay. Nothing impressive. Minimal flavor and portion sizes were small. There was a gasshopper in my salad which was off-putting. This restaurant had been on my list for awhile but I would not feel the need to visit again.
Really enjoyed the food, and our server was so attentive
My dining experience was great!! I would recommend
The overall experience was not great at all. I went with a friend to enjoy the beginning of Restaurant Week. Upon entry we loved the place. But once seated that's when things took a turn. Once at our table there were gnats. One or two that just kept flying around every so often. I mentioned it to our server but he didn't seem to believe me. This could be that while he stopped by the table there were none at the time. However not too long after his departure they were back. And when going to grab my drink- I noticed one swirling in my drink. I immediately notified someone who came and apologized and offered to bring me a new drink. All is well again. But the gnats are still flying around. Then when going to take a bite of my second course there's one right on my plate. I couldn't believe it. I again immediately notify someone. He offered to relocate us to another table but at that point I was over it. He then offered to remake both of our entrees and have them boxed. Which I felt was thoughtful. Once our remade food was bought the server came with our check. Not that I made a request but I was surprised no further accommodations was made to my bill for our experience throughout the night. And the waiter also stated he hoped we enjoyed ourselves overall. I'm not sure how he could think that when our night overall having gnats flying around us and landing in my drink and food. I wish I could say I would visit again. But I won't
Great food and great people! Service was exceptional! Will definitely be going back:)
The food was not very good. I tried two pastas and both were underwhelming. The pesto was very oily and for both the pasta was overcooked. Can easily make better pasta at home so it's just not worth paying for food here. The service was fine and wine was great but the food made it not worth it.
This restaurant is absolutely amazing! The service, the food and the atmosphere is next level. Also a bonus they validated our parking. I highly recommend going! You will not be disappointed
Great! Food was excellent
Food was tasty & ambience was perfect! My dining experience was worthwhile and the service was attentive. Only complaint I have is that their tiramisu is a little dry. Other than that, it was an amazing dining experience. Be sure to look at the ceiling inside. It’s a sight to see!
There are better Italian Restaurants in the general area. Plan on being treated poorly when you go to Bellini's. The restaurant will be virtually empty and they will still insist on requiring that you be seated near the kitchen door. When you bring this to their attention, their reasoning is worthless. At the conclusion of nearly 2 hours, the restaurant will still be nearly empty. As for the food, it is passable if salt is your major interest in seasoning. However, their steamed vegetables are gray and soggy enough to pass through a sieve. When brought to their attention, they will admit to having steamed them early in the afternoon and kept on a steam table. Italian are known for their use of fresh vegetables. Perhaps the owner is really British and is use to soggy food.
Look up Italian restaurants in the general area and choose a better one than Bellini's.
Excellent food and an awesome service staff.
Neighborhood bistro makes me wish I lived in the neighborhood. Fresh pasta. Creative chef. Owners on site. Food was fantastic. Linguine with lobster (we sub shrimp) and spiral pasta with arugula pesto. The best Caesar salad I’ve ever had and a chocolate mouse that made me want to cry. The owners are are a pair of beautiful chill Italian brothers. And the waitress Jess is an understated gem. My daughter and I loved it.
We were a party of 8. They had our table ready and our waiter came over immediately and the service was excellent the whole evening. The food was delicious and presented beautifully
Very nice restaurant and all the food we ordered from apps to dessert was excellent. Menu has a very good variety and specials were interesting. Very attentive service. Overall an excellent experience. Prices are fairly reasonable although menu is ala carte so ordering sides can add to total bill.
Excellent meal and great service. Got a little loud
Ac broken very hot. Staff attentive. Food delicious. Birthday cannoli yummy! Nice wines. Like coming here bc it is quaint and staff is so friendly and the food consistently delicious.
Good Afternoon, Apologies for the inconvenience that day. Just wanted to give you an update and let you know the AC was fixed that next morning. Hopefully you join us here again.
We meet both brothers, who own this restaurant. Both are very welcoming, personable and it shows throughout the restaurant. Everyone were helpful, attentive.
The food is excellent. My wife had veal parmigiana and I had veal livnorese, starting with Caesar salad. Everything was wonderful.
Everyone helped make our 48th anniversary very, very social.
Had one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. Seafood ravioli with lemon cello cream sauce. I’ve never had anything like it. Hats off to the chef. We loved everything we ordered. Great service as well. Super fast and attentive.
Wonderful service and very delicious food. Everything was great; my veal chop was definitely one of the best I have had.
Ate outside and had a wonderful meal - not a fancy as some of the other outdoor venues but very comfortable. The ravioli special got rave reviews from my guests.
Excellent service, very accommodating as we arrived early and could change our reservation time. Food was delicious. Would definitely go there again.
Very good neighborhood Italian. Recommend
We went to Bellini for our anniversary and had an unforgettable experience. My partner and I both LOVED our meals- fusilli with scallops for me, and ricotta ravioli for her. The pasta was so fresh light and perfect. We also loved our server Jess and felt every staff member was kind accommodating and good company. Would come back here in a heartbeat next time we are in Philly!
We randomly tried Bellini. Excellent choice. I has the veal parmigiana and she had the veal saltimbocca. Both great choices. We ordered a ravioli entree to share. It was outstanding. Drinks were very good. The waiter was super attentive.
We had an absolutely wonderful time. The staff and owners were so welcoming and friendly. The food and cocktails were delicious. Definitely, will return to Bellini!
Our first night in Philadelphia and an Italian dinner sounded great, and it was! Bellini was a fabulous choice. The atmosphere reminded me of a delightful Italian cafe in Florence, Italy where we had eaten many years ago. And Bellini’s food was fabulous! The veal with mushrooms and herbs and a cream sauce was to die for. My husband had the lasagna and it was delicious too. The desserts were scrumptious too. And the servers and I think owners were just perfect. They really cared about us and went out of their way to make us feel special. I really recommend Bellini for a fabulous and affordable, yet romantic dinner in Philadelphia.
We were celebrating two birthdays in one night. Outdoor dining was key for us, but obviously that came with an increase in street noise. A minor hiccup with the order for one of our party, but they fired the correct dish in just a few minutes, so it was all grand.
Bellini is a rare gem - a lovely restaurant with an attentive, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic staff who know their food and drink. From the bruschetta and Caesar salad to the pasta dishes and entrees, the food was amazing, freshly prepared, and served perfectly.
One thing especially caught my attention - this was a wedding anniversary celebration, and we ordered a bottle of wine. Our server poured the wine perfectly throughout the meal to complement the food and to have the wine last. It was a very nice change from the frequent "overpours" we've experienced at other restaurants, and then the wine is almost gone before the entree is brought out. This attention to detail was especially appreciated. As was the complimentary tiramisu packed up for us at the end to celebrate with later.
One other thing: their attention to cleanliness and COVID safety is impeccable. Overall, Bellini is truly an excellent restaurant. We will definitely be back.
