    We sat in the bar and there was a fabulous duo musical experience. Very fun. the food is always good here, but we thought the tortilla was over cooked and it was a bit burned on the outside (we think they should have not served it that way and obviously they overcooked it). all of the other items we ordered were wonderful as usual at this fantastic restaurant!

    The food lacked flavor, in particular the tortilla and paella. We had high expectations for the paella, but it genuinely had no flavor unless you coated it in the accompanying aioli. I wouldn't recommend Bellota for the food, but would recommend it for the ambience and drinks.

    After multiple visits I find the tapas selection somewhat limited…BUT…what they do, they generally do well. If I was to point out highs and lows it would be Highs Tortilla espanola Gambas Jamon Iberico w pan con tomate Patatas Bravas Lows Grilled peaches w burrata was tasteless Cheese plate portions are absurd…can manchego be Sliced any thinner…don’t think so Grilled octopus texture was a little wierd this time, But still ok, just not as good as usual. Our server Kent was great and we were well taken care of.

    The sever was very nice. But it was a packed night everything took a while even with the notes “40 minutes” with paella. It was extremely loud not just the music but the acoustics.

    We felt very "left alone" in our corner of the restaurant, so that wasn't great. And the meal fell short of the fabulous plates we've enjoyed in the past. The appetizers were great (boquerones, tomato/watermelon salad, patatas bravas), but the paella just wasn't special.

    Love that we can order halfsies of the paella. Patatas bravas was great but octopus lacking flavor as well as croqueta. A bit loud. Wonderful service -- servers and front room.

    Pre pandemic we loved this place. The food and prices were good, the venue nice. Recently we went on a Thursday night and almost walked out because of the extremely loud music coming from two players. We had to practically shout to hear each other. I wish we had left and avoided the mediocre, overpriced meal. We ordered a plate of the jamon Iberico and you would think that for $40.00 you would get more than a few very thin slices of ham that stuck to the plate. We also ordered the patatas bravas animal style, which we were told were covered with jamon. They were a mess. A bowl with a pool of sauce on the bottom and a bunch of crisp unseasoned potato cubes on top. The halibut appetizer was good but tiny. I could go on, but no, I'm sure you get the idea. We're not going back.

    This was my second time at Bellota after a few years and it is still amazing. The service, ambience and wood fired oven are the best. Great for an intimate dinner, or a large group so you can share more dishes. This is the most authentic paella I’ve had in the Bay Area, and the cocktails, jamón, & smaller dishes are delicious. I will go back! Check it out!

    Bellota is one of my husband and my favorite restaurants. We hadn't bee in a while, and I was worried that maybe it wasn't the same, but it was absolutely wonderful. The food was as good as we remembered, and the live music was fantastic. We had a lovely evening.

    Everything was great! Beautiful space, live spanish guitar, attentive service without being intrusive. Gin tonics, barrel vermouth to start. We only had tapas and they were excellent. I’m still thinking of the boquerones! Patatas bravas (Barcelona style), Cheese plate, Pan con tomate, melocoton grilled on a wood fire. Tortilla Española all washed down with a bottle of rosé cava! We’ve been before and will be back again. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

    The experience was fair to be honest. The tapas were good, but the paellas was below average. The rice was not cooked to perfection. It lacked seasoning. Tequila Cocktail and gin n tonic were perfect. Overall, I expected to be blown away, but was felt disappointed for the price I paid. I would not recommend.

    We had a wonderful dinner last night. Happily seated in a booth, we enjoyed various tapas and a Setas paella. All delicious! Our server was excellent. The somm’ was very helpful in advising us about the extensive wine list. We look forward to another meal here.

    The bartender was exceptional! I asked him to make me a very specific type of Margarita, and he thanked me for teaching him how to make it as he had never had anyone ask for one like mine. He nailed it! The hostess was friendly and kind, as were the servers. The food was really mediocre, save for the gambas, which were extraordinarily tender and delectable. We had the ANIMAL braves, which was mostly a huge bowl of potatoes with little else on it. The chorizo and Jamon Iberico, was just that -- a plate with sliced chorizo and bits of prosciutto. Nothing memorable really. The xurros, which my husband was very keen to have, were airy and dry, when they needed to be a little more dense. Overall they were OK as far as I was concerned. The crudo, which I was excited about left me yearning for some umami to it -- it was rather plain. The space is gorgeous, though I could've done without the giant fan blowing cold air everywhere while sitting in the bar waiting for our guest of honor. Overall, there was nothing terribly wrong with the place, it just wasn't what I prefer.

    Lovely interior. Highly recommend the chef's counter. The live Spanish guitarist and drummer added greatly to the Spanish ambience. Our waiter was well informed and gave great cocktail advice to my wife, who had to different Vermuth👌🏼. Food was exemplary and completely authentic. Really enjoyed the whole experience

    The halibut crudo was a masterpiece. Also I was fortunate because there was a guitar player stringing Spanish style music on the thursday evening I was there. I appreciate that the server took initiative to ask if I had any allergies. I highly recommend eating at Bellota.

    We had a lovely time sharing the many dishes Bellota has to offer. The wine was great, the cocktails were lovely, and my goodness, the paella!!! Would definitely reccomend this to anyone who loves a delicately curated wine list. Oh! And the Sherry, we tried all 4! Dont miss out on sampling the Sherry... invite friends so you can try them all!!

    Not a good night at this generally excellent restaurant. It felt like the B team was in the kitchen and had no supervision. This is an expensive restaurant. I don't mind paying for it when the quality is high, but they cannot allow average preparation at this price. The service and ambience were excellent.

    Hostess, vibe, wine list, and all the starters were great. Sat at chefs counter but not one of the chefs or cooks acknowledged us. The rice dishes were just so so but all the apps/ starters were amazing.

    Had a wonderful experience at Bellota's. Everything from the service to the atmosphere to the food was top-notch, and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone who appreciates delicious cuisine. One of the highlights of the meal for me was the anchovies, which were prepared perfectly and had a depth of flavor that really made them stand out. The shrimps were also outstanding, with a firm texture and a bold taste that truly left an impression.     As a Spaniard, I’ve found very overpriced for the quality and quantity. Also, if I’ll pay more than $70 for a bottle of wine, first I would like to try it and decided if I liked or not or go for different option.
