Bill's Restaurant & Bar - Liverpool
Waiting staff were all very polite and accommodating. Food was top tier, atmosphere was nice. Would go again
Bills was very good but I not impressed with the service charge that goes on the bill ,staff were brilliant and very friendly and helpful
We often choose Bill’s for brunch and are never disappointed. Great food and friendly service.
Far too busy and cramped, not enough space between tables
Food - no thought or time gone into it. Like it was sat and just put on plate not hot.
Greed, no time for customers
Last minute booking as everywhere was fully booked so was a bit dubious but it was fantastic, food was delicious, staff friendly & seen an offer to quote 'good times' which gave us 2 free glasses of wine each! Never been before but would definitely go back 😊
Took my husband here for his birthday. The server was an amazing woman who was so fun, polite, caring and thoughtful she was so funny too! I don’t know her name but she had dark hair in a super long plait and was young, shout-out to her she made this place incredible. Besides that the food was insane. My hubby said it was the best meal he’s had in his life!!! Best birthday ever thank you!
Great vegan burger. Really friendly and attentive service. Great looking restaurant. Would definitely recommend
Unfortunately the restaurant did not live up to my expectations. The food was very cold to begin with and not seasoned properly. Imagine having cold pancakes with minimal maple syrup - very dry and not a nice aftertaste! Service was well to begin with but I had to get up from my seat and ask for the bill twice. In the notes I added a comment explaining that it was a birthday brunch but none of that was heeded too. Very disappointed and will not be returning.
Very conveniently located to both Liverpool One and car parking. Menu has a good variety and reasonably priced. The dinner special was very good value. Staff all very pleasant and welcoming.
Waitress went out her way to accommodate us food was superb
Have eaten at Bills many times and service is always spot on as is the food.
Didn't have to wait long. Polite and friendly staff. Food was average. Had to pay service charge for 30 minutes sitting. Has unisex toilets.
Made a reservation which wasn’t even recognised. Waited a whole hour and food never arrived, told to wait further so left. Such a contrast as food was EXCELLENT when I went that week on the Tuesday.
Excellent all round but getting a bit expensive for a casual meal out.
Absolutely loved the burger, great ambience and attentive service.
We were very disappointed with our experience at Bill’s. The service was very slow, our food was poorly cooked (tough chicken, inedible broccoli, congealed sauce, rare burger and over cooked chips), not wanting to cause a fuss we ate what we could. When our plates were collected eventually we explained why did not enjoy our meal, which was met with a standoffish attitude, the staff member could then be seen talking to other staff members and looking at us and nobody came to our table again for at least 25mins, however we did see a member of kitchen staff walk through the restaurant with two bin bags and put them in through a door next to the bar. We got the bill after flagging someone down, paid the full amount minus the 12.5% gratuity they add on and left. The location of the restaurant, level access and gluten free menu were all factors for us in choosing to eat at Bill’s, however, unfortunately we will not be back after this experience.
We have eaten at Bill's in Liverpool a number of times but unfortunately this breakfast visit was a bad exception. The service was really slow and our coffee was brought as an afterthought.
Awesome food, excellent service, highly recommend
We were greeted by a lovely gentleman called Anthony, I think! He was very attentive and was excellent at managing all the outside tables
A friendly restaurant with a decent menu, including fixed-price. My friend and I enjoyed a leisurely lunch and a couple of drinks in a friendly atmosphere. Quiet enough to talk. Will go there again, definitely.
Excellent service, very polite and helpful. A nice cosy atmosphere.
I have visited different Bills locations all across the UK and have made it a city break tradition to go to Bills for breakfast. However this was the only bills that has been a total disappointment and has really tainted my previously high opinion.
I booked a table weeks in advance, however when I arrived I was told the only tables left were inside as the restaurant was busy. So booking the table was pointless as tables inside were given to walk ins instead of being reserved for the actual bookings.
As it is the middle of September in the UK, unsurprising it was cold and started raining whilst we were sat outside. I asked twice if we could be moved inside when a table became available, however I saw tables leave and new people were shown to the tables while we were left outside.
The service was extremely slow and unresponsive. We were sat down for a long time before being approached by our waiter. After waiting 20 minutes for our drinks we had to ask the waiter where they were, and our two hot drinks arrived with no spoons. We asked the waiter for a spoon as we wanted to add sugar, however we didn’t get any. As we were sat under a heat lamp I asked if it could be turned on as I was cold, the waiter said he would find out but again we had no response. When the rain got heavier we asked if they could open the cover above us but we were told it was broken. Eventually I saw a table inside and asked if we could move.
Once we were inside it had been over 50 minutes since ordering 2 pancakes. I asked a waitress who seemed to be the manager if she could check on our food. After saying she would check she then walked past our table multiple times, it felt as though we were being totally ignored. When I asked her again if there was an update she told me our order had been lost so the chefs would start it now. We had to cancel the order as we had been there over an hour and the service was terrible. We left feeling completely disappointed and frustrated.
Food was awful … I ordered Miso Salmon - was bland and had no flavour … my husband ordered steak, egg and chips … he said he’s had better chips at McDonald’s and the steak was a minute steak.
Really disappointing….. will not be going again
Great early evening casual dining, staff helpful without being intrusive
Food was amazing! Would definitely return for the food! Our server was very stressed out due to it being really busy which I can understand why it’s so busy but maybe have some more servers in especially for breakfast! He was still amazing and catered to al loud needs but it was clear he was run off his feet. Will definitely return though as the food was splendid
Unfortunately didn't rate our experience very highly. The host was nice and showed us to our table right away. The waiter lacked any effort. They came back after about 10 mins to tell me they had no pancakes which I really wanted. I said OK I'll just have what he's having the traditional (this wasn't what he had ordered, my fault I should have asked for the menu but didn't want to feel like I was a nuisance)
At this point I should have just left because we still hadn't even had our drinks yet. They took ages and the food even longer. The food was adequate but not worth the long wait.
Lovely food in great location and nice ambiance. Attentive service. Would recommend.
Fabulous as always, gets very busy so booking is advisable . Lovely staff great atmosphere.
A table of five, all very impressed, lovely place, great food, good portion sizes and very good service too.
Good for breakfast, food could be a bit jotter, but overall fine
Way too expensive for what you get I’m afraid. Need to cook the bacon more too x
Nice food and good service, a bit quiet
Great food, service and price. Lovely vibe. Would recommend!
The food was delicious as always, and the staff were so lovely and helpful. I would really recommend this place to go and eat
Not had a bad meal in here yet, the food is always lovely, hot when it arrives and a great choice on the menu. Staff were great too, served quickly and with a smile.
Great friendly place to eat. Good food and polite helpful staff -could not fault the visit
One waiter completely ignored my request for pepper and I needed to get it myself before the food got cold. The eggs benedictine had a dribble of sauce and the ham was not at all nice, very poor quality food experience overall.
Great food and reasonably priced but the price of the drinks are so expensive in comparison.
We visited Bill’s on Saturday 28th August at Liverpool one. Two of our party ordered the buttermilk chicken burgers. They arrive looking very well done. We complained and the manager came to say that is how the burger looks. She offered us an alternative. We then ordered a fillet chicken burger. We were told it would take 7 minutes. In the meantime we became the talk of the staff who we could see being discussed by all staff. Not very professional. Everyone in our party had eaten their food and still no sign of our burgers. After nearly 45 mins our burgers arrived. They were cover in a spicy sauce and it wasn’t very enjoyable. We will not be going back.
Awful, from start to finish. No service, we were left waiting 30 minutes to get menus despite asking. Then waited a further 20 minutes to get our order taken. Got drinks after being in the restaurant for an hour! Meals came out individually and we had to chase for gem.
Food was tasteless.
Tables left for 45 minutes without being cleared. All left hungry and ended up at sandwich shop!!!
