    We were her for a dinner with our children and grandchildren. Everyone loved their meal. 3 people had the steak with frites and said it was delicious. I loved the trout. The people who had dessert said it was outstanding. (Peach tart and Blueberry Cube) The sourdough bread that is freshly baked is irresistible. Our waitress Lauren was as pleasant and accommodating as could be. She anticipated the kids needs and got them what they wanted. She couldn't have been more helpful to us. We had a wonderful dinner here.

    The portions were perfect, and we wanted to partake in more, but gastronomically, there was no more room. The staff’s congratulatory card for our anniversary was unexpected and well received. Nice touch! Thank you for a wonderful dinner

    First time back at the restaurant since they moved from Larimer sq. . . .not the same experience at all! Waited over 1/2 hour for meal . . . Food was so so. Ambience is ok outside, inside not cozy like the old. No reason to go back☹️

    Bistro Vendome is a delicious restaurant in the Park Hill area of Denver. The trout is especially delicious for fish lovers. Eating outside at Bistro Vendome is wonderful and I totally recommend it for families and folks who want to experience great food in an amazing outdoor atmosphere.

    Love the new location! Absolutely perfect for Bistro atmosphere and the interior is so much more comfortable and not so crowded, not to mention ease of parking ! Great job Beth Gruitch finding this location to go with the whole concept

    The only negative was the 5% fee you tack on to the bill for the employees. You should make your customers aware of that charge at the beginning of the meal. Or raise your prices a few dollars. We left feeling as though we had been nickel and dimed. No one appreciates surprises.

    Ambience isn't really French. Just rotating pictures of French destinations on a screen. Menu is limited and a bit too refined. Overall it wasn't bad but it didn't wow me at all. I would've liked a more expensive menu as the limited offerings make for a bad time if there's a picky eater. I'd have appreciated to see some Coq au Vin, Fricassee, or even Chicken Chasseur. The hanger steaks were delicious as were the drinks but overall I left with a very 'B' feeling.

    I’m a fan of Jennifer Jasinski and I appreciate her involvement in this restaurant but I’m not sure what the fuss is about. I e traveled in France and love all things French and this place is very average to me when I think about experiences not only in z France and other French speaking countries, but also at other French restaurants in various US cities and even right here in Denver. Just doesn’t live up to the hype. Server was nice enough but don’t do an upsell on special butter from Normandy, especially when the bread is mediocre to not great. And manager, tell your kitchen staff not to visibly roll their eyes where the diners can see when the server requests a simple substitution- extremely unprofessional. In fact, manager also tell your kitchen group voices carry and sitting near the kitchen gave us too much of an opportunity to hear the kitchen staff’s entire conversation. Some of it was professional and work related - other parts of it not so much. The best thing we had were the two different salads we ordered. The entrees were okay but not as interesting as the salads. Overall a bit pricey for what we had and we do T plan to make. Return visit.

    Overall, we enjoyed our experience at bistro vendome. The best way to describe it is good food, but we weren't wowed. The service was good, even though he got a little flustered as they became more busy. The best dish was the beef tartare, which we had as an appetizer. We also had the trout and pork, which were both good, but seemed very basic concepts with a protein portion and a side, but the flavors didn't really blend or seem to add that much to each other. We are happy we went and tried it, but it would not be a first choice for another date night.

    I had gone to the old bistro vendome location many times so was looking forward to this visit. I will start by saying the location and ambiance is definitely a big downgrade. The old location was very romantic and very French. This new location feels more generic and doesn’t have the same vibe. That’s all okay depending what you are going for. I will say I don’t think this would be as nice for a date. Second, the food was average. It definitely wasn’t bad but it wasn’t amazing. I had the scallops and the flavors were really bland. It was not well balanced. The appetizers were good but also relatively basic. Another guest in my group ordered the steak frites and felt it was too salty. Lastly, the service at the old location used to be so good. This service wasn’t bad but it was not top notch. There are so many great restaurants in denver, so I’m not sure we will be back here.

    Ordered the Bass for two. Cooked well enough but had no memorable taste. The tableside evisceration was unsuccessful in that we were left to deal with the bones. Service was great, appetizer good coffee and desert ok

    This is such a nice spot for a date. This is one of the only places I would trust to make a steak tartar and they knocked it out of the park. They cocktail menu is unique and fantastic as well!

    Great meal as always from Bistro Vendome. Love the new location and space. It was a birthday celebration. Fresh peach salad, escargot and steak tartare with homemade chips were appetizers. Main courses included seared scallops, fresh trout and chicken in an asparagus avocado sauce on a bed of greens. Ended with a wonder lemon tart with a light blueberry sauce and cordials recommended by staff. Just a great meal and event all around. We’ll be back!

    We had a great night at Bistro Vendome at its new location in Park Hill. The staff accommodated a last minute add to our party of two which was appreciated. The food was delicious - the trout and onion tart were standouts. We will be back again soon!

    We attended a wine tasting dinner. The food was excellent and the service was fine. The wine was not as good as we had hoped. The restaurant is fairly new at this location and this "different" event wasn't as smooth as we have come to expect from the restaurant.

    We reserved on Open Table - couldn't book for 6:30, so we went for 6:45.When we walked in, more than half the table were empty. If we hadn't booked and just shown up we could've gotten in. Service was fabulous. Server Courtney couldn't have been more efficient or welcoming. The manager stopped by more than once to check on us and offer us more bread and butter (excellent stuff). Two of us had steak frites, but the frites were soggy and undercooked. When queried, we explained that they were not up to par. More frites were offered and they were somewhat better, but still not very crispy. The scallops and trout our other guests had got excellent reviews. The dessert we shared, a peach tart, was warm and very, very delicious. Overall a good experience with the soggy french fries the only serious complaint. And Courtney - that's COURTNEY - was one of the best servers I've ever had.

    Although not as unique as the previous location or menu. The experience was awesome! We do miss the amuse bouche, and the creme brulee, this was, is and will always be a favorite of ours!!

    Four of us ordered 3 different entrees: trout, grilled chicken, pork. We each, independently, said the food was good, but nothing spectacular and, therefore, seemed overpriced. The appetizers and dessert were excellent, and the service was superb. We'd go again, but reluctantly due to the question of value for price.

    We ate outdoors on a perfect evening for outdoor dining. When we entered the restaurant, it appeared that the noise level outside was less than inside, so decided to eat outside. The food and service were excellent. I commented on the delicious butter, and our server said that she purchases the butter from Normandy. The outdoor chairs do need cushions. I had the scallops, which were excellent, but I would have preferred five scallops rather than three. Three seems to be a little skimpy.

    We have lived in the Denver area for 30 years and this was the first time we've eaten at bistro Vendome. Read about the pan Perdu with palisade peaches and had to check it out. So delicious. Hubby had the omelet. We left with smiles on our tummies. Courtney was very personable and understood our change of seating from outside to inside.

    Such a friendly restaurant. Chose this venue for my 85th birthday celebration. I miss the elegance of the Larimer street quarters, but the neighborhood, more casual vibe of their Park Hill venue is also very welcoming. Great staff. Service a bit slow, but very good. The three of us were quite impressed with our entrees. Nice wine and beers. We'll be back!

    We had a table outside on a lovely August evening. Sarah was our attentive and knowledgeable observer. The entrees — steak frites and trout — were excellent, and we devoured a duck liver appetizer. On top of that, we encountered two other diners who are famous locally — the developer of Larimer Square and the former publisher of The Denver Post. In all, a memorable dinner.

    My friends and I had a wonderful experience dining at Bistro Vendome. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient, and the setting was perfect. I was a bit apprehensive my first time dining here after they moved from Larimer Square, which I loved, however I was delighted to find it is just as charming a setting as it was before. I highly recommend it -
