Excellent choice for dinner.

Let me just say, as a fat guy who's also spent years being a server, this place has it all. Food, service, experience, I came here on Valentine's Day because we had such a terrible dinner the night before at Brix in Belleville, I told my fiancé we had to redeem ourself for our Valentine's weekend dinner, and boy did Black Bull come in clutch. First off they gave us HOT bread, unlike the restaurant we went to the night before. Along with that they gave us a little vegetarian Charcuterie plate with cheese, olives, and peppers. Right off the bat, I felt right at home. But what really stood out, especially compared to the night prior was the all around service from the team. Our server was caring, patient, attentive and knowledgeable, as well as the runners and bussers. I've been to A LOT of steakhouses, believe me, my cholesterol really has been impressive by the amount of steak establishments I've been too (especially for having a lacto-ovo vegetarian fiancé) and it still not being flagged by my PCP, and I literally shed a tear when I first bit into the ribeye I received. But it didn't stop at dinner or start at dinner, the grilled artichokes we had as an app were decadent and explosive with flavor, and the tiramisu we had for dessert was airy, but moist and engaged every taste bud on my tongue. This place literally deserves a 10/10. Oh and it was well socially distanced which was a big reason I like it here, as I live right by Rare and Sear in Little Falls, and from what I saw and hear, they don't do a great job of. Bravo to this whole team, front and back of house, I really appreciate making our Valentine's Day meal amazing!

Overall experience was very good. We shared the seafood tower and the porterhouse for two. Both were very good. Prices are a little bit on the high side but worth it.

Great! The T-bone steak was melt in your mouth delicious. The pasta with lobster was delicious. The cheese/olive board when you sit down is a great touch.

We went for lunch. Service was excellent. Wine a bit pricey at $12 for house Pinot noir. Food was good. My husband’s filet tips were a bit chewy but overall it was a pleasant experience.

Beyond amazing - we went for Christmas Day dinner, and the staff was beyond phenomenal and the food was delicious. We weren’t rushed at all, and truly enjoyed dining experience. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Excellent food, drinks and service. My wife and I have been here before and we decided to return for our anniversary. It was a pleasant reprieve during these Covid times.

The waitstaff went above and beyond, however, the food blah. Everything we ordered was bland, tasteless and unfamiliar. The fried calamari had no taste whatsoever. The shrimp scampi had an unfamiliar sauce. There was no lemon taste, zero garlic taste, and no butter. I honestly could not tell what I was eating. The key lime pie tasted like meringue on a plate, that’s it ! Highly disappointed in the food, we wanted to like this place. Very expensive for bland, tasteless food. I hope for their sake they had a temporary cook.

Food was very good. A bit pricey.

Outstanding meal. My wife had a Bronzino and I had a Dover sole that were filleted table side. Both dishes were just perfectly prepared. Service was excellent and not overbearing. Our first trip there was last New Years Eve and that’s never an easy night out in a restaurant. Last night we decided to try it again and are so glad we did.

Everything was great, food, service, seating everything was superb. I'll be back soon.

Awesome experience from the wait staff right up to the owners. Food was delicious, we started with shrimp arrabiata and oysters & had the tomahawk for 2 with creamed spinach & asparagus. Everything was excellent, will definitely be back.

Excellent food and service

The veal Milanese was paper thin bordering on dry. It was huge, better to serve one thicker piece. I left most of it not worth wrapping to take home. No way to heat something so thin. The salad part was fine. The service was excellent. The plate with cheese olives and peppers was lovely.

i ordered a tomahawk for two and basically got a ribeye - it didnt even have the tomahawk bone. and if it was for two they should double check what they are buying because i wolfed it down in 5 minutes. The service was great the people were very accommodating but the food was ...ehh for the amount i paid. Listen if you want a decent steak and not travel far this is the place. but for 300 bucks i could get a much better meal somewhere else

Service was top notch, very attentive and yet not annoying. Lobster Bisque was a bit water down but taste was there and good, even better if was a bit creamer. Calamari was fried perfectly and taste good as expected. Tom Mohawk Steak for 2 was surprisingly a bit over cook. But the flavor was there. Will try again next time. Sides were flavorful and just right amount. Didn’t give a 5 star only because the steak was over done but definitely would come again.
