   Second time here, the degustation was great. Would have liked a list of the wines that were chosen to go with the courses though, and maybe some bread included.

   Dining experience was good overall. Little bit disappointed with the Carpaccio, bit chewy. The Calzone was quite dry inside and not very flavoursome…. Boulobois was lovely and so was the Barramundi. Service and wine was spot on 👍

   Great venue, very romantic and out of the way. Friendly, helpful staff. The food was delicious, they did very well to adjust the menu to cater for gluten intolerance and vegetarian. Great night out. Very much recommended.

   We booked blackbird for a romantic evening. The service was lack lustre , the table wobbly and poorly set and the food was poor at best. Burnt , average pub style food.

   Steak was cooked well done when ordered medium rare so it was really tough. Poached pair salad where pears were rock hard so not cooked properly. Mushrooms with steak had strange sautay taste and smelt off. Overall nice location but food was very disappointing. Had read reviews online to book this restaurant and after going can say that the reviews do not match our experience. Would definitely not book or recommend this to anyone when so may y other better restaurants near by

    Lovely setting beside the fountain in lake. Food was excellent we had the duck, fries to die for and broccolini. Loved the jazz music too.

    It definitely was a bit of false advertising, the ribs (priced at 33 dollars) was one rib and very small bit of meat, very tasty but the menu said 'ribs' plural. Also the meals took at least 1.5 hour to come out, and there was only my family and 1 other couple there at the time, i loved the environment, was amazing but definitely wont be going back due to the portions of the meal, our family had to stop at a fast food restaraunt on the way home.

    Booked degustation with wine pairing. On arrival denied that they offered pairing. Six courses but they only had four. Choice of 2 mains but they only had 1. Guys don't open of you can't serve

    We had the 6 course taster meal, and was not disappointed. Great variety and portions were just right. Did not think I’d be as full but by desert we all struggled. Staff were so friendly and helpful, it made the night memorable

    So disappointing. Only two other tables were taken which given the time of year was the first bad sign. The food was pub quality at best (although most pubs have better quality and better cooked steaks). For the prices charged this was a really bad experience. Definitely won’t be back.

    I booked for an intimate dinner with my husband for a pre Christmas meal and blackbird definitely delivered on every aspect from the food to the service and the romantic atmosphere and setting so thank you! We shall definitely be back again soon! And I can’t remember the name of this cocktail but it was the best cocktail I’ve ever tasted!

    Food and venue awesome. Service, whilst friendly, was slow. Seemed more interested in what was on their mobile phones? Could have offered us more drinks (sold more) and desert…we eventually had to ask for the desert menu ourselves. Will be back for the food for sure.

    Food was burnt first time. All 3 dishes. Sent back, what was sent second time was just bad value.. 12 peices of gnokki? So much chilli in the mushroom ragou. Adding broad beans doesnt make something fancy and putting a dried orange next to duck doesnt make it duck a lorange. Honestly. The cocktail was nice and so was the waitress (indian girl), good manners and cared. Rest was quite poor. Needs work if your going to charge people these prices in a downturn.
