Very high recommend and thank you very much to Giancarlo
Kenneth was very attentive to us and tried hard to create lovely atmosphere.
I liked everything At the restaurant exept the music witch was too loud. The food was excellent. I Will rekommend it higly.
We created a shared meal for 4 choosing from the extensive range of small plates. They suggested 3-4 per person - we chose 9 savoury dishes to start with then a desert each (as they were more difficult to split four ways). We all agreed that was sufficient. Every dish was interesting and delicious and there wasn’t one that we would have missed.
This is an attractive looking restaurant but the food was a bit hit and miss. Portions were generally very small and the fusion of Japanese and Mediterranean dishes didn't really work. Service was friendly but the ambience was lacking because, even though it was a Sunday lunchtime, the restaurant was more than half empty. It was also quite expensive considering how little food was provided, we had three small plates each as recommended and despite not being big eaters, still left feeling hungry.
Absolutely fantastic meal! Beautiful food, attentive service! Will definitely be returning!
Excellent food and very good service. Techno background music was a bit intrusive for us but it didn't spoil the meal. Expensive (you really need 4 - 5 dishes, as they're generally pretty small) but overall pretty good value, bearing in mind the quality of the food and service.
Lovely attentive staff, were very mindful about pregnancy dietary restrictions. Food was excellent and dishes are not ordinary. Overall above average experience for the price range.
Excellent service. Really enjoyable evening
If you have the choice to go somewhere else, do it. We were stuck with limited options on Christmas Day. It looked really nice online and we got off to a good start with the lobster appetizer. Course two was a frozen lemon. Course 3 was the smallest piece of bland and dry chicken I’ve ever had. My partner had overcooked beef Wellington coated in an undercooked pastry. When someone finally came over to check they assured us it was supposed to be this way. Regardless it was £288 for two people to have “5 courses” and a warm bottle of wine that the server knew nothing about. Course 5 were candies from tesco. Feel like we were taken advantage of and would strongly advise anyone from wasting their time and money at this establishment.
Given the pricing, the Christmas lunch menus could have been more imaginative and better presented. A really nice space, though.
Spectacular, delicious, great portions, lovely staff, incredible service, warm ambiance.
Good food and service
Outstanding service but vegan options on the menu were limited. We missed a contundent main course.
Cucina internazionale (Giappone, Grecia, Italia,) molto curata, piccoli piatti da condividere, con ottimo servizio e ambiente
The most over-priced restaurant ever! One dish was £9 and it is four crisps with avacado slices on them!
The restaurant and service was very good with a great choice on the pre theatre menu.
Please note 12.5% service added to bill already
The decor is lovely and clean but also very welcoming and comfortable. One thing that bugged us was the fish and mussels we ordered came with quite a bit of sauce so we ordered some bread as a side. The waitress warned us it was only 3 pieces on a plate so we continued, only to be brought out almost kingsmill white basic bread that cost £3.. if that was nice bread(granary/fresh white loaf/wholemeal/ciabata) £3 would have been great but I was very unimpressed about the sheer waste of money and tasteless white cardboard that turned up.
On the plus side the rest of the food was flavourful very nicely presented and well worth the money! I will return but won't go near the bread!
Nice airy restaurant with very attentive staff and excellent unusual food. Unfortunately the atmosphere was rather flat as we were the only people eating in the restaurant at 1.30 on a Monday. The lovely staff reassured us the restaurant is much busier in the evening.
We had a great evening here. Will definitely go back
Very nice food, small bites too share, dj in the house, nicely decorated, friendly staff, we can recommend this place and definitely go back next time!
Thoroughly enjoyed the small plates. Edam beans were to die for. Also the potato layers with jalapeño sauce. Stylish and modern decor. Initially the music was too loud, whether we got used to it, or it was turned down I don’t know.
We were a table of 4 and had a fabulous late lunch. The menu was great for sharing and the flavours were divine. We lingered after lunch in the bar where great hospitality from the wait team continued. Would highly recommend BSK and will definitely return. Thanks Team BSK keep it up!!
Fantastic, food and great service
Food surprisingly spicy and really small portions. Music too loud to have a conversation comfortably, and they refused to lower the volume down. The waiter refused to honour the offer we booked online via OpenTable and ask for the regular price (~x2). When shown the confirmation on my phone, they started making all kinds of excuses. The venue itself quite hip and the location very convenient. The fusion element is rather interesting.
Very friendly service. Creative cuisine. Tasty food. Just the crab salad was far too spicy ( a lot of chili).
We had a large table of 8 for dinner and it was wonderful. Really interesting menu of Japanese Tapas and some European (think Spain/Portugal/Greece) dishes. Without exception all the food was superbly fresh and tasty.
Service was wonderful but we were there on a Monday night but this is the best service I have received in a UK restaurant in years.
Layout of the restaurant is nice too as is the decor.
Another fantastic meal at Bloomsbury street kitchen. Everything was really lovely. Flawless cooking and service.
Lovely atmosphere and great choice of food; love the fusion of cuisine!
Lovely variety of little plates, some very inventive too. A nice place, will return.
Muy buena comida, el sitio ideal decorado, los camareros atentos aunque por momentos un poco lentos. La música demasiado alta.
The food was so good and very friendly staff! we would come back at any time! For my parents, the music was a little bit to loud.
Had a fab meal - food was amazing - staff were fantastic especially Julion our server who was brilliant.
Would highly recommend.
Amazing food - the sea bass was the best thing we’ve ever had!
Amazing! Really enjoyed drinks and dinner. Would highly recommend.
Really fantastic food. Their website did not do the place justice. The interior was great and the staff were very professional and friendly.
I will be going again. I took my girlfriend there for her 40th and she loved it. Food was brilliant
Lovely food and very attentive staff. Will definitely eat here again.
The food was very good and unusual, though some of the portions were rather small.
What spoiled it for me was the ridiculously loud music - and why dance music???? It's a restaurant, not a club!
Conclusion: yes, I would recommend it but not at the weekends when the DJ is performing.
Ticked all the boxes. Great atmosphere and exceptional food. Can’t ask for more
