Food was good. The area where we were seated was not clean/carpet very dirty and trash on floor. As our first time here and For the money paid, this should not be the case. Expected much better.
Very good but I wish there were more gluten free options.
The restaurant had a nice quiet setting. The service was nice, and the portions were filling. My wife and I enjoyed our meal.
Overall Friendly staff and the food was excellent.
Thank you to Bluestone. I reserved the wrong date, but they were able to accommodate my party. Very much appreciated. As usual our meal was delicious.
We love bluestone!
One of our favorite restaurant. Our evening was not quite as good as usual. I feel like they have all new servers. Some of whom haven't quite gotten Bluestone's usual friendly customer service. Food was good and so was the service but not exactly as it's always been.
We had an early dinner reservation (5:30). Initially we were seated in the terrace area; although it’s lovely we were chilly. Staff immediately changed our table. Excellent service. We had a duo of servers who worked well together, never missing a beat. Managers are active and regularly check on tables. Nice touch. The food was outstanding. Calamari cooked perfectly, nice take on fried green tomatoes, and rockfish was delectable. And the cream of crab soup was tasty and full of lump crab. It’s been awhile since we visited, this was a good reminder that we should visit more often. Nothing special about the ambiance but the food and service make up for it. Bring a sweater.
Excellent service along with delicious food. Was very relaxed & able to visit without being rushed.
Our server I believe his name was Elliot was outstanding and made us feel right at home. Appetizer of calamari is probably the best in Baltimore. And our entrées were excellent! The only real criticism is the lighting on the terrace area is too much and should be cut back.
Outstanding! One of our favorite restaurants any day, but a special treat to dine during restaurant week. Loved the choices, from lamb to crab cakes and the rockfish was the best of all.
One of my favorite testa. Was there yesterday meeting up with friends. We had a wonderful time. Our server Chris was very patient and answered all our questions. Food was great as usual. My only problem was the house salad was a bit lacking in bacon. But everything was wonderful.
Good food. Enjoyed all the meals and drinks. Very happy with the service.
You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but my favorite was the Ocean and Gulf dish. Assortment of seafood with roasted potatoes and roasted brussels sprouts
Great food, as always. Firecracker salmon cooked to perfection. Our server, Derek, was gracious and accommodating. You really can’t go wrong at Bluestone.
This is the 3rd time that I’ve been stuck In the back Corner two top in the sun room. I never say anything, but it’s a little odd that I keep getting seated there. The waitress was very sweet, but young and inexperienced.
Bluestone offers great food. The Bluestone salad and the beet salad are excellent.
Hadn’t been to Bluestone in years not remembering it being memorable. Wow, glad we made a reservation. Food was great, from the Seafood Bake with incredible homemade Pita chips to the Scallops and Salmon. And we can’t forget the deserts. Only 3 to choose from but the Key Lime Pie and Creme Brûlée were a great finish. Sweet and smooth. Great job Bluestone !!
Upset they didn’t have what I wanted ! The Pork chop
Tremendous waitstaff. Excellent food. Everything we were served and every plate we saw had ample portions & was well crafted. Loved both the chicken avocado and chophouse style salads with candied bacon. Both cream of crab and Maryland crab soups very good. Lots of options for heartier appetites in form of crab cakes, steaks, fish. Highly recommend. It’s in a business park area. Warehouse exterior, but honey interior. Clearly a local favorite. We were in town for sports club tournament. For breakfast the next morning, we also notes the Baltimore coffee & tea across the street.
Very good as usual. Waiter had too many guests to attend to.
Lighting was overly bright. Our servers were very nice and attentive. The food came out quickly.
Blue Stone has become a favorite treat for us. The food is consistently excellent, the service is professional and very helpful, and the atmosphere is very pleasant, no matter what day or time of day we stop in.
Our server Erin was dynamite. Fried green tomatoes were amazing, catfish was prepared well, mussels were phenomenal, and the flatbread was flavorful. Only one drawback, the fried rice wasn't hot. Other than that, the lunch experience was perfect.
Always the best food and so very welcoming. Great to be back!!
Hadn’t been to Bluestone for dinner since COVID. Our waitress Shannon was excellent!! The good was delicious and a great value…. With beautiful presentation! Will certainly return very soon!!!!
Food was good but the noise level was high. People complained and asked to be moved.
Pleasant surroundings, good service. Crab meat on fried green tomatoes had so many shells! Very disappointed. My friends did not order anything with crab meat and they were happy with their meals.
Fantastic lunch. Food was excellent
I have always had excellent food and service at blue stone. I especially like the Sunday restraunt week offerings. Service was a little confusing during the pick up outside during the pandemic, but the confusion was worth the ability to obtain your excellent food.
Bluestone never seems to disappoint. They have a great Sunday 3 course sepcial!
The food was wonderful (we got 4 entirely different entrees and all were excellent- especially the crab cakes) the seafood bake appetizer was fantastic as well), the service was great, and the ambiance was nice. The only complaint I have about this restaurant is a strange one. We had reservations and when we approached the hostess stand the short, dark haired hostess asked us our information. I very warmly gave her our name and time of reservation. We then stood there as she stared at her screen, she literally did not utter a word, no response whatsoever, then after about a minute the door opened and another party arrived at which point she said “Would you please wait off to the side!” very rudely. We all stood there shocked. She never said, “give us a moment as your table is being prepared” or “Thank you, if you don’t mind waiting just a moment then you’ll be seated”. Nothing even approaching courteous. It was honestly bizarre. The unfortunate aspect of this is that the rest of our experience was great but the first point of contact in a restaurant sticks. And literally all that lady had to do was take our name and be kind, is that too difficult a job? She wasn’t being asked to complete a monumental task. I honestly feel sorry for restaurants trying to hire these days, the employee pool must be horribly shallow. In any case, we will be back thanks to everything that this restaurant did right!
Early Sunday evening dinner with my wife after a show:
- Bright friendly stylish upbeat atmosphere,
- Excellent service, and
- Very tasty food.
First dinner inside a restaurant since the pandemic — great to be out again!
Atmosphere is great. Clean and quiet!!!
Priced right for above average meal.
We went to lunch with our toddler son and had a wonderful experience.
I thought since I had put the reason for the visit was our wedding anniversary. I thought someone would have said congrats or happy anniversary but it was nothing.
Good dining experience. Food was fantastic and service was great
Have eaten at Bluestones many times. Good menu and good drinks. Crabcakes are some of the best around and I am from Baltimore and know my Crabcakes.
The food was really good. The crab cakes and cream of crab soup were fantastic, and the steak was cooked perfect. It is a little on the expensive side, but it was well worth it.
Great venue for a family birthday dinner. Everyone enjoyed shared apps and we all ordered something different. All entrees were delish!
Our server was very friendly, professional, and competent.
