Great restaurant with great people and great food.. fantastic well proportioned Tapas with excellent flavors.. best wild mushrooms ever 🙌
Noise Level was music and live dancing, not a bad thing at all 🙏
Wonderful food and friendly service. It was a great dining experience. Will definitely go back, as I already have.
The food was amazing and the service was even better!
Great tapas. Excellent service. Flamenco dancer and guitar a nice surprise
Good food service was great.
We enjoyed our selections- shrimp, padrone, asparagus, paella and the drinks. Only disappointment were the meatballs.
Our server, Jose, was gracious and attentive and the ambiance was great.
Great food, friendly staff. The shrimp is especially good. Get some extra bread and sop up every last bit of the buttery sauce!
We enjoyed our meals, the pear salad and the meat and cheese board was delicious. This was our second time visiting, will continue to patronize.
Sooooo cute. There was a lovely flamenco dancer & guitarist during our meal. It was beautiful. Food was DELICIOUS. The mimosas TOP TIER
Wonderful staff. Food tasty. Will return.
Everything was wonderful for our first time visiting Bodegon, will be back!
We all enjoyed everything we ordered, 6 different hot tapas. All left Bodegon very full and happy we chose to eat there. Will be back often.
Food was so great, we will come back soon!
Wonderful new place on 8th! From my phone call to discuss our reservation to arrival, service, and food... everything was great. Hamza, the host, was amazing, as was our server (I failed to get her name). The food was delicious and just what I wanted. Can't wait to go back!
We were a little cramped at our patio table and the staff seemed a little overwhelmed for what I believe was one of the first busy Friday nights they've had since opening, but I can't wait to go back to Bodegon. The food was delicious, the sangria was yummy, and our waitress was adorable.
Excellent experience! The food was amazing and the service was top notch. The manager Hamza (sp?) came and checked on our table twice. The decor down to the very clean restroom was beautiful. So excited to have this restaurant on 8th street.
Nice and good food . Paella seafood is really good !!!
Wonderful service and even better food
My fiancé and I heard about Bodegon and, after a recent trip to Spain, decided to try it. The food felt authentic and made with attention. The staff were kind and consistently checked in with us. It was clear that everyone around us was enjoying themselves.
Decor was great, service was decent, food was extremely disappointing.
Out of the six tapas we ordered, we only finished one of them (the goat cheese and honey toast, which was very good). The patatas bravas were mediocre, the potatoes themselves well cooked but the sauces were lackluster. The red sauce, a crucial part of the dish, was layered only on the bottom and the shape of the bowl it came in made it near impossible to mix. Instead, the potatoes just got soggy on the bottom in the mediocre red sauce. The calamari tasted decent, but lacked any improvements beyond what appeared to be poured out of a bag you could get at Safeway. The aioli it was served with was far too heavy and Mayo-y. The fried dates were overdone and needed some sort of topping or sauce. The tomato tuna salad felt like a middle school cafeteria dish, wet with the juice out of the can and lacking any seasoning. The chilled muscles failed to balance flavors, with overwhelming onion, weird crunches, and average quality seafood.
Plating was nonexistent, other than the fact it was on a plate.
The service was decent, although three different people took our orders, at one point two people trying to take the order at the same time.
The pre-meal bread was good, but it came out seconds before the first round of tapas (despite the fact we ordered drinks first). The drinks themselves were nice, though uninspired.
