The dead come to life at Borracha. With decorative and festival skulls watching over guests, Borracha, located in Green Valley Ranch, is as dangerous as you want it to be. With a nod toward the famed Day of the Dead, the Borracha offers Mexican-inspired dishes and features a drink menu with an abundance of cervezas, tequila and specialty cocktails to take the edge off. The menu is as seductive as the surroundings, featuring sharable plates, inventive burritos and entrees that would make any skeleton want come back to life. Made-from-scratch tortillas and addictive tacos featuring rotisserie chicken, slow-cooked short ribs and fresh Baja fish gives your palate and explosion of flavor. Borracha needs to hire more waiters. The one waiter covering a large area was not able to serve the table properly. We never got water refills as an example.

We had a great dinner at Borracha. We had the shrimp ceviche and green sauce-cheese enchiladas, highly suggest those items. Fun ambiance to watch a game, lots of tv’s. Service was attentive and friendly.

The only good thing about our visit was our server being friendly. The UFC fights were on and the rest of the staff, especially the managers, all just stood around and watched the fights and talked to each other. The steak in my fajita was so chewy it was not edible, and no one ever stopped by to check and see how things were because the 3 of them were too busy doing nothing which is pretty par for the course at Borracha but was especially bad this night. We’ll be finding a different Mexican restaurant that has even decent service and isn’t so overpriced.

They never acknowledged my daughters birthday. We were invisible to our waitress; was never around and we kept having to ask to find her. What ever she was doing in the back was the priority for her and then she would come out with NOTHING!! No containers, bags, check!!! She should be very grateful my husband has sympathy for this crappy service as the tip would be bare minimum!

It was our first time coming here , Our server was very helpful he brought us a little bit of everything. 10/10 experience would definitely recommend coming back here !
