We had a reservation but it took 20 minutes to get our table. Food was excellent and service was very good except for the wait for our table.
I had the fig and beet salad for my starter. The presentation was beautiful but it had absolutely zero flavor. My main was the halibut. It was so over cooked and dry it was nearly inedible. I was with one friend and we had to yell to be heard over the noise level. So loud. My friend asked several questions about the menu items (English is not her first language) and I felt like the server was annoyed with her. I was actually embarrassed that I brought my friend to Boulevard. This was a very good restaurant years ago. RIP. I won’t be back.
Boulevard was great as usual. We each started with the soft-shell crab. I have had it many times before and it is always a pleasure. The Ladies had the Salmon for their entrée, which was perfectly cooked. I had the Abalone and Calamari appetizer for my entrée. I must admit that it was even better then the crab. Boulevard has been one of my favorite restaurants since the 90's. I will definitely see you again.
We took the Larkspur Ferry and walked over to the restaurant. Service was fantastic. We had an appetizer of soft shell crab and we both had the pork chops for our entree. We shared the flourless chocolate cake and black forest cake. We finished everything on our plates.
What a wonderful way for two friends to celebrate 57 years of friendship.
At Boulevard, we (my wife and I) found exceptional high-end food without the customary high-end pretensions or prices. The quail appetizer was spectacular; the lamb tenderloin and beef filet were outstanding.

Cocktails were delicious . Appetizers were great and so was my main course and dessert. My date had the ‘signature pork chop’ which was very salty - so little disappointing.
Felt a bit rushed. While we were still drinking our cocktails, they served our appetizer .
Food was excellant. Ordered a shot of Clase Azule. Very short pour for $26!! I ordered recently at two other restaurants (one in Manteca, Ca and Stockton, Ca) and was poured at least a 1/3 MORE!

We loved the lamb, and enjoyed the dessert as well. If your looking for a fancy place in an amazing area, tons of attention to detail, light mood, and a place where you can dress up for a proper dinner, this is the place.

I have been to Boulevard on several previous trips to San Francisco, and always enjoyed it a great deal. Before going this most recent time, I had heard that it wasn't as good as it had been in the past, but I went anyway. Unfortunately, what I heard was true. I don't think it was nearly as good as in my prior visits. Also, I don't remember it being sooo noisy! With so many fine restaurants in San Francisco, I doubt I'll return to Boulevard unless i hear it's had a revival of some sort.
Excellent meal with my father. The only thing that would have made it better is if the food was served hot. Otherwise perfect.
This was Not the best meal I have ever had at Boulevard. The starter and dessert were up to expectations but the salmon entree was not a very good cut of fish. I found this very unusual because Boulevard has always had excellent fish in terms of quality and preparation. By contrast, my two companions had the halibut and they thought it was excellent, and it looked much better than the salmon.
Disappointed this visit. Meat was tasty and tender, but the sauce was greasy and the mushrooms and broccollini were overpowered by its flavor so that their individual flavor was obscured. Not up to usual standard.
Great place for a business lunch. Fantastic food. My only complaint is that the two-top tables are pretty small. So if you are a big guy or gal, it might be uncomfortable.

The hostess was welcoming, friendly, collaborative, and a joy to interact with as we entered the restaurant. Dickie was an absolutely phenomenal waiter/server! He was attentive, informative, had a great sense of humor, and and and!

They really went out of their way to make our anniversary feel special. Hand signed card, free amuse bouche and dessert, and everyone seemed to know it was our anniversary. Very nice. The lamb course was astonishing tender and delicious, and my wife's scallops were a revelation. Gorgeous cocktails, too. Thanks for a great experience!

First table was a banquet. Way too uncomfortable for 4 senior ladies. Moved to table and chairs for four. Much better.
Waiter recommended a dish was a total disappointment.
Was undercooked and sent back.
Causing a delay in my other parties dishes.
Was there for my boyfriends birthday and we were handed a dessert menu.
