service and place were very good and nice. we were sat at a very nice table and service was lovely. however, huge disappointment with food. scones were okay, but the cream and jam didn't taste nice. then you get a very small plate of what was suppose to be sandwiches? don't know they didn't explain what we are eating when they served it. the desserts were presented well some tasted really nice. then they serve you soup! why would you want to have soup after having desserts . then you get something like a pudding which also wasn't introduced to us when given to us. we have tried many afternoon tea experiences in Singapore and unfortunately despite the atmosphere and service being nice the experience itself was poor.

Had lunch there on a weekday. Lobster bisque was a little too creamy, not enough lobster flavour, and no cognac. Lamb was tasty, but a little overcooked, and a little tough. Normally the quality of cooking is spot on.

Butler service is limited to 1 per day for drinks instead of unlimited. Breakfast almost limited to 2 main per pax instead of unlimited buffet. Would not come again unless the 2 services is unlimited.

The food quality far below expectations for a Fine Dining French Restaurant. E.G I returned my onion soup as the bread was too thick and hard to te eat.

For a distinguished hotel, the marquee French restaurant is below average. Ordered king crab salad - there is a generous portion of shredded crab meat but there is no way you can tell it came from a king crab.. The scallops were okay with fairly good doneness but the searing was less than fair. The second main (chicken breast) was a bit dry. Last but not least, all the food bar the soup was served less than what I would consider warm. Overall, very disappointing. Little chance I will re-visit..

We had afternoon tea on a weekday. Food was subpar, savoury items were below expectations (poorly constructed and lacked flavour) and desserts were too sweet. One of the dessert items - pomegranate espuma - tasted and looked like it had gone bad, the colour had darkened to a purplish brown (like it had oxidised) and as thought it had been left out for several hours before serving it to guests. Not sure if it was safe for consumption so we barely touched it.

Service-wise, it was very rushed albeit dining capacity not even half-full. Service staff lacked finesse and seemed very uninterested in care for the guests and made no effort to explain and/or describe the food items to guests.

Overall, a very disappointing dining experience at BLS and definitely not worth the time and money. Will not go again.

Beautiful place - we ordered the afternoon course, and the portion and plating was very value for money. Highly recommended to come with a friend and just have a lovely chat. :)

I booked Brasserie Les Saveurs at the St Regis Singapore for a friend's birthday lunch celebration on New Year's Day. It proved to be an enjoyable experience in a relaxed and quiet atmosphere, with more than enough food to satisfy us. The wait staff were attentive and responsive to our needs.

We made a reservation on 31st December at 7.30pm and arrived on time for our dinner.

After some time, the Amuse Bouche and Fruits De Mer were served. We waited for 25 minutes for the next items (chef pass arounds). However, to our surprise, we were served the Hot entrees instead. We as customers had to double check if this was the right item that we were suppose to be having. After finding out it was the wrong items served, we told the waiter to take it away and to serve us as per the sequence of the menu which was the Chef Pass Arounds. We waited around another 10 minutes for the Chef Pass Arounds.

The couple who came 30mins later than us were served correctly and managed to leave the venue way earlier than us. They were there for around 2hours while we had to sit there for 3 hours for this meal. The wait was tiring and service was not up to standard. The waiters couldn’t pronounce the meals served and some would not even tell us what was being served. Very poor service.

When we asked for the carpark coupon, they gave us one however, while exiting the carpark, I inserted the carpark coupon into the machine and there was no update. Instead, it kept on telling me to insert my cashcard. It deducted the full carpark charges from my cashcard and the carpark coupon wasn’t even utilized. A useless system that needs upgrade!

We will never come back to this restaurant and will not recommend to others either due to their poor service.

Not a good experience to end the year.

We had our first hi-tea session as a family of three. My wife and daughter loves it so much. At the same time to celebrate my wife's bday. Big thanks for the thoughful bday cake!
A small suggestion is to add a suitable drink for the kid who joins the session as coffe and tea does not necessarily suites them.

Food is excellent - high quality and interesting flavours. Good quantity too - I couldn't finish everything despite going on an empty stomach. The service however wasn't great. I was last here for afternoon tea earlier this year and the service was impeccable. This time there were many part-timers (probably due to the pandemic), and some of them were pretty clueless. It took quite long for the food to arrive and when we were finally served the order was wrong - the desserts came first and there was a long wait before anything else came. I will be back nonetheless since I love the food and ambience, but I hope the service staff will be better trained when I next dine here.

Asked for my order three times.
Poured a substandard glass of wine.
Didn't not ask for me to taste the wine before pouring.
Did not remember my order and placed the wrong order wt the wrong guest.

The eventual manager/server that picked up the slack was amazing. He was Indian and very professional. His staff, however, leaves a lot to be desired.

Will not be coming back anytime soon.

The time taken between courses was unacceptably long and very embarrassing given it was a business dinner for 3 persons. It was a full 60 minutes before the main course arrived after the starters.

The service was extremely slow. We arrived at 1pm and had quickly placed our orders for the epicurean set lunch. At 215pm we were still waiting for our main courses and I had to ask and remind three staff, one of whom apologetically explained that there were only two chefs. With more waiting staff about I was surprised that our glasses of water were not filled more promptly when empty, and my iced water was peremptorily filled with warm water without asking first. I was also surprised not to have been asked if I wanted to order any wine . I would have done so and was planning to do so with my main course , but was so annoyed with the delay that I decided against it.

Service level was well below average for a restaurant of your stature, probably inexperienced and younger staff.
Examples of improvements include - I had beef dish as main and I had to ask for a beef knife. When the starters came, servers didn’t even know who ordered what and then two identical dishes and they asked who were ordering what when dish was the same etc as clearly they are not familiar with what they were serving ?
Overall ambiance is very good, food was average and service could be improved

The spread has too much sweets(unique but very sweet). There should be more savoury items to balance the spread.

Service was not as good as I had expected. For such high end hotel, the service should be much better. Staff should have been more attentive and make more rounds to clear the dirty plates and cutlery. But we often had to ask them to do so (and often had to look out for the staff - as we sat at the extreme end of the restaurant, we saw that the staff were standing at the other end of the restaurant).

Pathetic services , very low standard. Staff gave check without asking and then told us that they have to prepare for afternoon tea. Another staff member then asked us to leave because of same reason. It was just 2.45 pm at lunch .
Wine glass was smelling egg and had to change 3 glasses to get the one right .

Quality of high tea items need to be improved. The cinnamon roll was too dry. The sandwiches were dry too. Should have at least 2 drinks selection instead of restricting just to 1 drink. The cost of 1 tea to the hotel is not much but yet enhances the overall experience. Compared to other high teas across other hotels, which are of the same price, they offer minimally 2 drinks or free flow. Even if it’s free flow, how much can 1 person drink within the 2 hours. However the dining experience is greatly enhanced.
