   You can tell a lot of thought was put into the menu and the quality of the food. The burger was phenomenal as were the cocktails and the swordfish. Will definitely be back!

   Our go to place in Louisville. Outstanding, attentive service and a wonderful lunch. We have been dining here for many years, both for lunch and dinner, and have never been disappointed. Guy Genoud runs a fine establishment. Kudos to Tiffany and Leanna. We will be back in two weeks with friends. Rick and Kathy.

    Our server was very helpful and informative. We learned more about French wines and he provided suggestions to our liking. The food was excellent. Others have told us about the trout, which was excellent. The chicken stuffed with mushrooms and spinach was also delicious. I would highly recommend this place

    My husband and I received and gift card for our anniversary. We went for the first time last night and the food was fantastic! We each ordered an alcoholic beverage and they were both wonderfully crafted! Neither were watered down like you can find at some restaurants. Both of our meals were delicious! The service was also top tier. We wi definitely be returning!

    We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Brasserie Provence. Unfortunately, only one of us enjoyed our meal. One was full of flavor, and the other (salmon) was devoid of any flavor...perhaps they forgot something. The other negative was the manager (or Maître d'). While tables around us were given personal attention, ours was skipped. He neither greeted us when we arrived or when we left. It was odd, and put a weird vibe to our celebration. Our server, Chris, was excellent and did the restaurant proud. However, for the price, the so-so meal, and the unwelcoming atmosphere, we will not be returning.

    Enjoyed a post Kentucky Oaks prix fixe dinner that was delicious. Nice selection of items for the three courses, and a solid wine list. My filet mignon was excellent, and the kitchen clearly understands how to prepare beef "rare." Outstanding service from the entire staff. Great ambiance, and a refreshingly quiet atmosphere. I will come back here on my next Louisville trip.

    We had reservations at 8:15 pm for the Kentucky Derby Experience. We were required to pre-pay $50 per person for this meal. The total cost of the meal was $100 plus tax and gratuity. We were immediately seated on arrival. However, we waited awhile before the server came to greet us. Server was pleasant and informative. At this time it was agreed that the bill could be split per couple but upon check out, the manager insisted we pay it all on one bill($900+). The appetizer tray ($75) was very good. The cheapest bottle of champagne was $90. Our steaks were not cooked as ordered and the potato side had a very strange flavor and no one at our table liked it. The asparagus spears were large and undercooked, basically raw and crunchy. Our dessert was included and ordered at the beginning of the meal, but we waited and waited until we had to ask for it. By then it was so late, we had them pack up our dessert to go. This meal was not worth the money and the service was poor, so we will not return to this restaurant.

    Our recent lunch date provided us with a "Journey to Provence" without the need for a passport. Always considered a favorite when visiting Louisville, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The atmosphere, service & delicious food continue to call us back time after time. We were seated near the fireplace, which provided a charming setting for our dining experience and offered a wonderful selection of wines by the glass. Looking forward to our return!

    We were a party of four. I had the dinner special, which was scallops and it was excellent. The other members of my party got the Bronzino and the lyonnaise salad, one with chicken and the other with Salmon. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. Service was very attentive and provided excellent suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Brasserie Provence and will return.

    The food is given 2 stars simply because we went with some friends and their food was good. My spouse's dinner and mine were not good at all. However what was disappointing was that the waiter never even came to check on how our food was. We waited for a while and then ended up eating part of what was served because we were with friends and because as they were three-quarters through their meal and the waiter had still not come by to check, we did not want them to have to wait. When the waiter did come, at the end of the meal, and ask if all was OK and we explained that it was not, there was no offer of anything. The restaurant manager even walked by the table, overheard the conversation and immediately turned and walked away. We were served one dessert to split "on the house". Very poor customer service.

After I checked with the assistant server who cleaned your table, I was informed that the plates were empty. So as an act of good faith I asked the server to purchase a dessert.
