Bricco has garnished superlative reviews from food writers in Boston and around the country – Best Guaranteed Meal in the North End and Best Pasta in Boston just two of the most recent accolades.
The talented kitchen team creates “boutique” Italian food, so-called because it is unique, personal and created for a select and sophisticated diner. The food is complemented by an enoteca (wine bar) with an exceptional selection of all-Italian wines.
Bricco also offers a sophisticated late night scene. The chic and energetic bar serves up great one of a kind cocktails as well as brick oven pizza with gourmet toppings such as prosciutto and fresh mozzarella from Italy in addition with appetizer selections.
Excellent food and service, the server knew what my gluten free options were and was very attentive to these needs. Both my meal and my bf’s was absolutely delicious, would highly recommend!
Food, setting, and service were all great. There was an extremely loud table of young men seated right next to us that were drunk and yelling at the top of their lungs. We couldn’t hear each other speak from across the table. They were visibly irritating other patrons but the restaurant didn’t do anything about it which was a bit disappointing.
Great food and ambiance!
Bricco is a great Italian place in North end. We ordered two pastas - pappardelle with lamb meat and farfalle with lobster, black truffle. We loved our dishes and drinks. They have a good wine list. The service was great. We would def visit here again.
Great food, great service. A fantastic experience.
We went there on Saturday night and enjoyed the food, wine and service by Anna so much that we booked our dinner their for Sunday. Both nights were amazing and this will be my new top spot for Italian in Boston. SW
Steak done right!
Amazing food, amazing service, a bit pricey but usually try to go at least once a year
Simply, my go to north end restaurant. Food, staff, environment are all outstanding. Always sure to please!
Overpriced for what we got. Tried to order several items from the menu but was told it's a 30 minute prep time. Pretty expensive for an Italian restaurant...
LOVE Bricoo's! A must when visiting Boston. Located in the North End
All around great experience for a date night. Food, service, atmosphere, etc. all fantastic. Food was exceptionally great.
Service and food were fantastic.
We’ll be back!
Four of us dined on Thursday night to celebrate a graduation. All our starters were very good, but the entrees were mixed. Two of the three pasta dishes were just average- overcooked and one was over-sauced.
The rib-eye was good, not great. Would try somewhere else in the North End next time.
We could not stay because there was not any more availability in the valet parking and we never found a parking spot! The restaurant didn’t care at all!!! It was one of our favorites and we will never go back again! My whole family was upset!
Upstairs is not
The food was absolutely outstanding. Service not so much.
Waiter was snotty.
Made us wait a long time , past the reservation time
We enjoyed an amazing date night at Bricco. We had the scallop app and the pear salad. Both were amazing! If I had to pick only one, I would go with the scallop app, it is large, so definitely could share. I had the big night out pasta, which as great! The presentation of the dish was well composed and it was savory and made with care. My wife got the pork tenderloin, which was very large and delicious.
Our server was amazing, attentive, kind and funny, he made the meal that much better! We will 100% be coming back!
Had really been looking forward to dining at Bricco unfortunately the food was just moderate.
The Burrata appetizer had a very heavy chlorine taste. I have ordered Burrata at many places and have never had one taste like this. Frankly it was awful. I didn't complain to the wait person in retrospect I wish I had.
My Ahi Tuna was very good. We were a party of 4. No one complained but no one raved about their meals either. Overall I was disappointed. I won't be back.
Very good food, but expect to pay $100/person if you each have an entree and drink!
Food was excellent. Server attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes; suggested good wines for us. She had an Italian accent, which made me ask her to repeat what she said, but I found that to be charming and added to the Italian authenticity and ambience. Had the carpaccio and veal parmesan. Loved both Only complaint was that the noise level was very high, which made it difficult to talk. I would expect that from a sports bar or a dance bar with loud music, but of course this place had no sports or music. It was simply packed, everyone was talking, and there was nothing to absorb the sound. Otherwise, I would’ve given it five stars across the board. But what can you expect from an Italian restaurant that serves great Italian food? I definitely would go back again.
Octopus was amazing, as was my duck. Service was a little spotty but not terrible. I didn't get a drink for 20 minutes into being there but other than that was very solid. Tight tables but expected in the north end. Over all great food and experience.
A wonderful experience with modern Italian cuisine. Great food and great service. Busy on a Wednesday night, so pleased that we made reservations.
I attempted to send a facebook message and email, but there was no way to do that. I have always liked Bricco but this last time was disappointing from a food perspective. Two of us ordered "the big night out timpano" and it was seriously lackluster. I understand a busy kitchen needs to prep food in advance, but this was tough and cold. It was really unfortunate.
Very noisy. Service was slow. Food was good.
Would go back again.
Lovely dinner out, fabulous food and very attentive wait staff. Highly recommend!
Went for family graduation dinner. Great food and atmosphere!
They sat us in the bar area against the fireplace. Everyone one was passing by hitting the chair.
We made reservations early since it was a busy weekend. And they sat us in a terrible seat we were a family of 5
Portions were smaller than I remembered
Zucchini flowers great. And so we’re mussels
I think I would try somewhere else I’ve been here 3 times
Incredible food, great service, on the more expensive for a pasta dinner but so so worth it!
This was probably THE BEST food we have ever eaten. The steak was so juicy, like we've never tasted before. Lobster was tender and the pasta great! The zucchini app was so light and tasty. We give it a 15 out of 10!! Please come to Chicago!!
Great food, amazing service in a fun atmosphere.
Bricco, is a true Boston gem! Absolutley amazing, a can't miss!!
Simply put, my food was cold. Very disappointing for such an expensive meal. Unlikely to return.
Great food, fantastic service, but there was large party of around 20 that was incredibly noisy. We were one of three tables that asked to move because of the noise. My suggestion is not to book such a large group, or create standalone dining area for large group. We and others couldn’t hear ourselves talk. Appreciate that waiter understood and enabled us to move to another part of restaurant.
This was my first time at Bricco and I brought two of my closest clients. Everyone was super happy with food and the service and it was a big hit! I will definitely come here again!
Food Portions are small so be ready to be hungry when you are done with your $50 meal
Last minute decision (on Mother’s Day, no less!). Everything was great. It was busy, to be sure, but the chaos was controlled and well managed.
And we’d be loathe not to mention that our server (Ismerelda) was amazing. Attentive and knowledgeable, without being over-present.
She made our time at Bricco really enjoyable. She’s a rock star!
