   Sent my mum and dad for their anniversary breakfast, can’t thank the team enough for making a big effort to congratulate them and even a little plate saying “happy 30th anniversary” a really nice touch! Food was excellent and they were seated with a great view.

   Excellent as usual, food was great, staff extremely helpful and friendly, would only suggest that whoever makes the porridge practices a bit more, it wasn’t great if I’m honest. Will still be coming back, everything else is brilliant. Thanks

   Our server was very nice and efficient. We were in for breakfast and had the full breakfast. It was very nice. The only problem that we had was the cold. Yes it was a very cold day but I couldn’t see or feel any heating. We kept our coats on. Our breakfast got cooler then cold very quickly. I would definitely go back but not on a cold day

    Was in for breakfast o Sunday past and had big breakfast is was lovely experience food was lovely servers were brilliant and the place was lovely and clean as were the toilet areas And a good price also views from restaurant were beautiful thank you well done everyone

    I come here regularly. It is always pleasant, delicious, friendly , great service and wonderful views. The sun often shines in the windows too, which adds to the warmth and welcome.

    This restaurant, with really nice food, lets itself down with poor management of service. We observed various people, who appear to work there, wandering in and out of the kitchen (a man with his hood up and a female wearing an outdoor coat) while young servers struggle with keeping up with orders. Someone needs to manage the managers here because this blase behaviour with kitchen rules, and service, seriously lets down the restaurant overall. Tend to be ignored in the extended areas and puddings seem to also be an afterthought but mains are well-presented and of good quality.

    My friend and I were catching up over brunch. We did struggle to have a conversation at times as there were four gentlemen at a table opposite who were all shouting at each other and getting louder and louder, which combined with the background music made it hard to hear ourselves and spoiled our visit.

    I visited the restaurant with a friend and were very impressed with the option of being given a taster of the soup before deciding what to order. My friend selected the pulled beef salad but was disappointed. I had a flatbread which was delicious. We both enjoyed our visit and would happily return.

    Lovely location and nice and relaxing environment. Only problem was that we were moved to a smaller table because one of the party did not turn up and it was not quite such a nice view. Also was a bit chilly. Understand why it was done but the restaurant was not full and was quite late for any lunch drop ins to be likely.

    We were out at a table beside the stairs; felt a wee bit like a corridor so I’d ask for a different table in either the main space or conservatory next time.

    Very disappointing ...not nearly as good as it used to be ....Been going on many occasions ..this will be our last Menu is too tricky and helpings small Restaurant was v cold and when asked if it was on the response told us it was minimal or not on at all as we were advised we would feel the difference shortly . Deserts were skimpy especially custard helpings which resulted in deserts being v dry . When we asked for more what was served up was freezing .... Customers should not have to experience a restaurant that is freezing cold and you have to keep your coats on Restaurant will lose business that way.....Very disappointed

    Very disappointed to be served fried potatoes with fried fish instead of chips, batter on fish a bit soggy instead of crisp. All four people left the fried potatoes on plate as not very appetising, remarked to waitress at the time. My Latte was poor quality and not very hot.

    So, the restaurant was empty apart us two and another couple who left shortly after we arrived. There was no ambiance really and before we got to mains the waitress begun sweeping floors around us. She did this all throughout our main meal. The salmon starter was over powered by the chutney it was served with and dark and limp looking. Lost on a huge dinner plate. It was all just a bit sad and listening to waitresses chatting in between bouts of sweeping up ruined the night.
