Well it was the first time we ever visited Brio. Made a reservation for our daughter’s birthday. Turns out they were closing for good in two hours. Had zero food to offer. No drinks. Staff could care less. Had no business being open. I blame horrible ownership. Boycott for life!!!
Food and service was very good. I will be back.
Wonderful service and food! Our server was excellent--- very helpful but not intrusive. I also really like the round tables . We will definitely return!
Service was outstanding. Food quality is not what it was 10 years ago. Lights were too bright at 8pm and ambiance was not felt. Sorry! I used to frequent this restaurant but now I have no plans to return.
Very nice restaurant
My wife had the chicken parmigiana and it was like eating a salt pill.
Fabulous food and service. It's usually pretty noisy (I'm not a fan of noisy/"I can't hear myself think" environments), but it was relatively quiet.
There were four of us in our group. The waitress, Brenda, was attentive and did everything to make our experience wonderful. The appetizer (Fried string zucchini and olives) were very good, as were our drinks. I had the mushroom ravioli, which was very good. Another in our group had Lasagna, which he said was delicious. My wife and her friend had chicken dinners which they described as bland and a little tough. I was the only one who had dessert, which was assorted fruit with a custard base. Delicious! All in all a wonderful experience.
Great atmosphere! Our server James was absolutely amazing, super professional and knowledgeable. Definitely had a great time and the food was delicious
Couldn’t make our reservation time because we were running late. Called Brio’s and they held it for me, on New Year’s Eve. That was exceedingly nice. They are my favorite place to eat.
The food and service were excellent. I highly recommend a visit.
Wonderful entree food choices in warm Tuscan themed environment. We had chicken Marsala and capris We always have outstanding service.
Really enjoyed the salmon. Pastas were great too. Everyone was happy with their meals.
The food was great. The service was not. We had an 11:30 am reservation, and the restaurant was almost empty when we arrived. The server did not deliver the 2nd pot of hot water, nor the condiments requested despite her cheerful demeanor. It's certainly worth a return trip however.
A very nice place to go for a quality meal, drinks and overall dining experience. We will definitely be back!
A horrific experience. The combination of terrible food and slovenly service reached an early crescendo with the alleged Magherita pizza, which was more identifiable as a piece of cardboard from a packaged shirt. This establishment is next in line for closure in the depressing Parole Towne Center. The only thing remotely Italian about this culinary nightmare is the word Bellini on the sign outside of the restaurant. My guess is the sign it would probably taste better, and you could likely tear it off the wall to taste it in less time than it will take you to get waited on here.
A group of four celebrating a family event.
Service was slow-45minutes to get a glass of water. Waitress carefully looked away when we tried to get her attention. When food finally arrived after waiting more than an hour it was cold, undercooked and inedible. « Kitchen is backed up! » was the only response. Bill was outrageous for what we got and how we were treated. The valet attendant was more polite than our server. Never again will I set foot in this place. It is a disgrace to the food service industry.
Haven’t been here in a long while. The food and service is still as good as remembered. Our server James was prompt, professional, and attentive. One food item wasn’t as expected and our server made it right promptly. The shrimp and lobster fettuccine and the shrimp and eggplant appetizer were both amazing.
Delicious food, as always. The waiter was very personable and attentive without 'hovering'. I wish the wine selection included some Finger Lakes Riesling, but the one we selected was very tasty.
Lovely place, but just too darn noise--and tabletops are so wide that one is seated too far from one's companion. Combined with the noise off the many hard surfaces, it was nearly impossible to hold a fluid conversation. The service was gracious without being overly attentive. The food was "ok"...not very hot, pretty run of the mill.
We were really disappointed in the service and how long it took for our food, especially as it was a not busy Monday night. My husbands food wasn’t hot when it came out, he asked for hot pepper and grated cheese and that took almost 10 minutes. His pasta was completely cold then. They also forgot the fruit that came with my sons meal and my appetizer salad was underwhelmig. It definitely wasn’t the freshest lettuce. My grilled salmon, however, was delicious. We’ve loved brio before but this experience was definitely disappointing.
It was an expensive meal and there were too many errors for paying that much money. This was a family celebration for out of town guests for the Holidays. Our appetizer and salad came out at the same time and we felt rushed. We said no onions for two items and they both had onions in them. Not a good experience.
Not sure if it was the food. But 3 out of my 6 people party got sick with stomach issues. The service was amazing though! Our waiter was very on it and great personality.
Food was okay - chicken was a little overcooked and Marsala sauce was average. Service was excellent and ambiance was nice.
Waitress service was fair. Bartender was extremely slow and they weren’t crowded. Appetizers came out cold (spicy shrimp and eggplant ordered 3 and all came out super cold). Had to send them back to be heated. We eat here several times a year and we feel the place has gone down hill. Would not reccomend.
Great meal with the whole family, for two grandfathers’ birthdays. Nice menu selection, tasty food, and good service.
This is our favorite restaurant in Annapolis!
Food and service is always good!
Although I haven't been here for dinner, Brio is a great spot for lunch. I'm sure it would be a nice choice for dinner, too. It is conveniently located and the food is quite good and reasonably priced. There is chatter, but it is not a noisy restaurant. I also like the layout of the tables. You don't feel like you are sitting on top of the next table hearing each other's conversations. Our server was suitably attentive and pleasant.
Always good food and a great atmosphere. This time, service was very slow. Not the usual case. Dinner portions are a good size.
Service was very poor. Extraordinary long service for every aspect of the meal, appetizers, entrees, drinks. Others were being served that came after we were seated. We spoke to the manager and she accommodated us by reducing the bill. We are grateful for that but the overall experience is very disappointing. The was good however.
We love the bread and the house wine was pleasing. The beef tenderlion with gorgonzola was delicious.
The shrimp capri was fresh and favorful .
The food and service were fine, but the restaurant was very cold. I had to wear my jacket, as did another member of my party.
Has been quite a few years since going to Brio and it seems to have become more casual. Food was okay but nothing special. Service slow. Fine for family dining but would prefer more upscale for date night or special occasions
BRIO was busy, very busy but that is no excuse for the Hostess seating tables w/o reservations before tables with a reservation. The service was abysmal. Ordered a bottle of wine and it took 20 minutes for it to be brought to the table. Then, the server couldn't open it (I had to). Ridiculous. The food, however, was outstanding and a good value for the price.
Just a wonderful lunch....great food, great service, wonderful atmosphere....all at a reasonable price. We had an extremely enjoyable hour and a half business lunch. Would come back in a heartbeat to try another outstanding menu item.
A disappointing dining experience which did not match up to previous visits because;
1: One person's meal was served at least 10 minutes after the other diner's
2: This meal was missing the chicken and spinach.
3: The server offered to bring bread, then forgot to bring it.
4: The salmon entree was a tiny helping of salmon over a minuscule helping of vegetables-not worth $24 & I have a small appetite!
5: The coffee was barely warm and weak but this was replaced by a new cup which was hot but still weak.
6: The tiramisu was semi frozen.
7: A large party with an intermittently screaming child was sitting close by, so that I had to cover my ears.
Although the charge for one entree was waived, our evening was far from an ideal experience.
The server was lazy and carefree.
It's unfortunate when a very tasteful meal gets shortchanged by less than excellent service. I should not have to go fetch my own water and soda refills, but that was apparently the case as our server did not come back to our table after bringing the food (which took nearly 45 minutes). He didn't even come back to check if everything was OK with the entrees.
We made a last minute reservation for a large group, and were not disappointed. The staff was gracious, the service was great and everyone had a wonderful time. The food was good and plentiful and the menu has a lot of variety. All in all an excellent evening.
