Great for special occasions! Definitely make sure to be on time. It’s such a relaxing experience, you don’t want to rush. We enjoyed every part, from the service to the food… everything was wonderful!
We were in Brooklyn celebrating our adult kids' birthdays, and the family is a big fan of afternoon tea. In fact, we're pretty much tea snobs. We've found that tea in the U.S., except for the stuffy places like The Plaza, can be hit or miss. Brooklyn High Low was definitely a hit. The tea selection was broad without being overwhelming. The food was fantastic. (We found ourselves taking notes for the next time we make afternoon tea at home.) But the real winner was the service. The servers were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Sure it was a bit pricey, but I've come to expect that in New York. We'll definitely be back.
My husband and I came in for a day date. We loved our afternoon tea at Brooklyn High Low. The tea selection was ample and the setting was delightful. Lovely presentation of tea sandwiches and treats in a beautiful patio garden. We look forward to returning, and bringing friends with us. It would be a great spot to host an intimate event, too.
Wonderful time and such sweet servers!! We celebrated a birthday and it was such a special day for the birthday girl.
Brooklyn is lucky that such a place survived the pandemic. A blissful 75-minute experience.
The decor is a highlight. Mismatched saucers, teacups and teapots served to people sitting in mismatched lounge chairs is a delight. High tea is always about treating yourself, so value is as you’d expect. Sandwiches were really good but tea, scones and dessert were not the best I’ve had.
Scones little tough but overall everything was so pretty and good will do it again
Had an amazing time there!! Everything was perfect, great customer service, and the food was super tasty!!
Nice quiet spot to celebrate birthdays.
We’ve visited twice so far and it’s been a wonderful experience. Booking again soon!
Very nice afternoon tea service. W ok ups have been nice to have champagne service but otherwise good experience.
Very cute spot and unique experience! Good for special occasions and a place to take guests when visiting. Will be back!
Absolutely lovely experience. The backyard is such a beautiful and peaceful oasis. The owner and servers strike the perfect balance of being attentive and friendly while giving guests privacy for intimate conversations. Excellent selection of delicious teas and very good amount of food for the price. I would - and will - return in a heartbeat!
I wanted to take my daughter out to a "fancy tea" but since she is not yet 5 we needed somewhere that was fancy but not uptight. Brooklyn High Low was perfect. A magical setting, delightful service, yummy treats and low key vibe. It felt like such a luxury to just relax for an hour or so with nothing to do but drink tea, chat with my little girl, and eat snacks.
We had a special mother-daughter tea to celebrate my birthday this past weekend, and everything about the event was great. The service is personal and informative, and the treats perfectly accompanied our tea service. This is the perfect place for a special event.
A perfectly cozy and romantic afternoon tea in the garden. Most delicious, generous and friendly...the owner and staff were wonderful, and we couldn't finish everything they served with the Heights experience. The inside tea room was beautiful as well. Brooklyn has needed a tea room exactly like this and I'm so glad we found it!
Took my mother here for a small (& early) Mother's Day celebration, and she absolutely loved it! I'm a frequent tea drinker and this place was like a dream. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious tea, and outstanding service. Would definitely go again!
Great afternoon tea experience. We definitely will return again, this time we'll have tea in the garden.
I went there for a my wife's birthday. They treated us great and was very safe conditions. We will definitely be back again.
Great food, tea and service. Such a wonderful space to relax and decompress...
What a lovely place. A wonderful place to enjoy traditional tea. They have a very nice selection of tea and generous portions of sandwiches, scones and sweet. Great attention to detail. This is clearly a labor of love.
Amazing service. Very welcoming! Will be going back to try their heights!
My friend and I had The Heights afternoon tea and it was spectacular. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the shop is so cute. I highly recommend this place.
A tea house that rival any in the UK is right here Prospect Heights...what a lovely experience! We tried the Vanderbilt experience for our tea service and it was perfect in size and variety, featuring both traditional and unique tea sandwiches and sweet treats. We will back to try the Heights Experience for the ultimate in Tea Decadence. Although there is no required dress code at High Low, my partner and I did dress for the occasion for Low Tea and it was so much fun! Why not make it special? We all need an escape to another place and time these days. Many thanks to Honey and her staff for their attentiveness, hospitality, and especially their joie de vivre for all things tea!
Brooklyn High Low was a really nice experience. The food was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere lovely. We had a great time.
The sandwiches, scones and desserts were delicious as well.
A great experience. Owner and her staff were very welcoming and the food and tea were fantastic. Highly recommended.
Honestly, this was one of the best tea services we've ever had in NYC and... anywhere! The tea and food were delicious. The service was wonderful. The environment was perfect, too. We had the Vanderbilt service, which allowed each of us a choice of tea and to pick our sandwiches. The food was so filling and we even had some leftovers, which isn't usual for tea services. Also, the scones (THE SCONES) are amazing — especially with the lemon curd. Beyond the food and tea, what made the experience perfect was the staff. The owner greeted us at the door and the wait staff could not have been nicer. They're knowledgeable and down-to-Earth. If you're looking for a great way to spend an hour or so, book this place. We live in uptown Manhattan and Brooklyn High Low is about a 40-minute drive, but it was worth it.
Lovely place for a special occasion. Beautiful decor. Great choice of teas and sandwiches. Very professional and friendly staff.
Such a delightful and lovely experience!!! A great high tea experience very friendly staff!
The staff was incredibly friendly, and the ambience was cozy and comfortable. The food and the tea were amazing- definitely want to come back soon!
It was amazing! The tea was delicious
Perfect little escape- fun high tea. Staff were so nice. Owner was incredible...there were 3 of us - 1 birthday girl, 1 celiac (gluten free), and 1 observing passover (no bread!). They went out of their way to adjust the menu for each of us, and make the bday girl feel special.
Big bonus- outdoor seating
They have limited time for each customer, so they should have taken the order in advance, perhaps online or over the phone, so that when we are seated at the table they would be able to serve tea and food immediately. There was a plently amount of food, so we needed more time to be able to consume the whole meal and tea without rushing. We simply needed more time.
The staff were all amazingly inviting and helpful. The tea and food also amazing
I had a wonderful Friday afternoon catching up with my dear friend here. We were blown away by the delicious food, bottomless cup of tea, cozy environment and super kind service team. We had such a great time that we didn't want to leave, so we started eating slower, which is hard to do when everything tastes so good. We are already planning coming back soon -- within the same month!
This place exceeded all expectations. Usually I'm at a football bar, but went here on Sunday afternoon and left so full and happy. The staff take such great pride and love what they do, that made it even more enjoyable. The space is beautiful, the tea was great the food was fantastic.
Afternoon tea was a great experience, and the variety of tea and sandwiches were more then most places offer. The decor is perfect and gives a feeling of cozy english get-away in Brooklyn. The staff was very sweet and excited to return.
This place is lovely and truly the experience of my dreams. I want to go back every week! Every detail is attended to and everyone is kind and welcoming. And it’s delicious!
What a fantastic experience! Can’t wait to head back and do tea in the garden!
