Brooklyn High Low pulls from both Low Tea and High Tea traditions to offer an afternoon tea experience with a Brooklyn twist. Complement a pot of tea with our triple tier plate stand filled with baked scones, crumpets, finger sandwiches & house selections of yummy desserts. Choose from three different experiences, each leaving you more full and comforted than the last. Our Tea experiences are known as "The Classic", "The Vanderbilt", & "The Heights" Our vintage sitting room lends itself to a nostalgic experience while our garden offers fresh air, soft lighting, and a spacious atmosphere.

With our PREFIXED "Grand Vanderbilt" tea service you'll enjoy a 75 mins Tea service. Each guest will receive a bottomless pot of 1 choice of Tea, we have more than 25 to choose from. Each Pair of guests will share a triple plate tea tier complete with a fresh baked scone, strawberry jam, lemon curd & clotted cream, and 1 each of the 8 flavors of tea sandwiches we serve. Each tier comes complete with a small salad and a Yummy selection of 3 sweet bites per person along and a chocolate covered strawberry . Our PRE-FIXED Grand Heights offers the most in Decadence. Relax with a bottomless pot of tea. Your choice of any or All ( you can drink in 90 mins ) from our large selection of teas. Next you will enjoy a bouillon cup of soup followed by a Tea tier filled with freshly baked scones, crumpets, herb butter, Strawberry jam, lemon curd, and clotted cream and enjoy 1 each of the 8 tea sandwiches served that day. What a wonderful spot! We came here to have an afternoon tea party to celebrate a friend's birthday and had the sweetest time. We especially loved the level of service and assistance when needed. No walk-ins allowed, so there weren't people in and out of the location. There were so many unique and antique pieces all around BKHL. Our teas were AMAZING, the coconut truffle tea with milk and honey was delicious and so comforting. Would highly recommend this place for tea lovers and those looking for a calm afternoon activity.

We really enjoyed the grand heights tea service at Brooklyn High Low! There was plenty of tea and food (there was even extra to take home). I only wish I could have stayed longer. It was so relaxing.

I had high expectations of this place, and it totally delivered. We reserved a seat on the patio due to COVID concerns, and it was as lovely and charming as the interior. I will say that it was also pretty well enclosed, with just some spaces between the boards that comprised the walls, so some people might not feel totally comfortable with that, but we were fine. There is also a decent amount of space between tables. All the seating is armchairs around a little table, so it feels like you are taking tea in a parlor. I wanted to come here because I am gluten free, and have not been able to go to tea since 2001 (#first-world problems), but this place does a gluten free tea service. It was amazing, with the same sandwiches my friend got. My desserts were slightly different, but still amazing. Everything was delicious and the service was wonderful. We have decided to go there every year for our birthdays because once was definitely not enough.

Our experience was great overall. Loved the decor, the tea selection, the truffle chicken salad is delicious, service was on point. The only thing that could have been better would be the inside temperature. It was a really hot day and it felt really stuffy and hot inside. Drinking tea also naturally made us feel warmer. A few fans would have really made a difference.

For the Summer and Early Fall months our tea room does have Indoor A/C. We hope to see you back again for another "Cool" Tea Experience. Truly fantastic tea experience. My friends and I are obsessed! Both inside and outside are beautiful, and reservation only makes it feel very exclusive. I walked in and I felt like I'd stepped back in time to a tea house where intellectuals and suffragettes would meet in secret. A perfect place to host a bridal or baby shower for sure.

From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed. We tried 7 different teas and loved them all! Especially the cardamom and vanilla black tea. The food was plentiful- it doesn’t look like a lot but you will leave full! The service was awesome! We will definitely be back!

Really lovely back patio. Very sweet decor and nice ambiance for an afternoon out with the ladies for some gossip time away from the husbands. Tea was outstanding. Worth the pricetag. Lots of food. We even had some leftovers. Celebration cake was okay, I'd probably skip if we have another celebration here. Nice that they offer a veg option but shame that it costs extra.

The service was excellent, the decor is charming and comfortable, and the scones and sandwiches were delicious. I did feel, though, that my herbal tea was bland and there were too few desserts, which were also mediocre. I also don’t think 75 minutes is enough time for a relaxed afternoon tea, especially when you’re paying $60 each. I’ve been to other teas and we’ve always been able to stay longer.

We do have a timed tea service that is stated on all our reservations. We apologize for this limitation. We recommend taking tea at one of the Hotels in Manhattan for a longer sitting as they are large enough to offer an unlimited amount of sitting time. We can only hope to hit that level some day, but until them we are staying small and intimate. Thank you - BKHL

It's very nice to have a tea house in Brooklyn. It was exactly what you would look for in afternoon tea. The staff was really nice and accommodating. We were there on Mother's day and they forgot a few things for our table and our tier, but were nice when we reminded them about it. Some of the sandwiches were delicious and others were just okay. Their desserts, however, were top notch. Really delicious. It was a really cute atmosphere and table setting. And they have a great tea selection! Will definitely go back.

We really loved our visit to Brooklyn High/Low. The service was perfect and the food delicious. However, the outside area is *not* appropriate (despite being sheltered) for cold weather. We were there on a very cold and rainy day (50 degrees in May) and the outdoor area, despite heaters, was not warm at all. The roof leaked. We had to wear coats. This won't prevent me from coming back again, but it will prevent me from booking outdoors.

The atmosphere was super calming and the food was bite sized but delicious and filling. The decor was vintage and homey and service was pretty quick because we ordered a set and tea before arriving - so I suggest their packages for sure! Maybe on a warmer day, I can try outdoor seating!

What a gem! This was the perfect afternoon tea after a visit to BBG. The staff are warm and welcoming. The tea selection was extensive and served in a wonderful assortment of teapots. Great food and generous portions. Try the back patio - it’s fantastic.

Absolutely darling little place! Knowledgeable, attentive staff. Beautiful presentation of delicious and varied treats. The scones were enormous and divinely buttery. Every finger sandwich was unique and delightful, and all of the desserts were perfect little bites that managed to avoid being overly sweet. All of this in a super charming setting. I cannot wait to go back!

Disappointing experience. Unique and cozy room but service was lacking despite greetings by a tea server and a separate food server. Not much service followed. Despite the emphasis on a time limited experience we waited almost 20 minutes for the food and then they brought out the check before we were halfway through. The sandwiches tried too hard and the scone was more a biscuit and not even warm which we expected given the long wait. The tea person never checked on us and we had to flag her down for a refill. Given the high cost here, everything should have been better.
