Food was excellent! Best mussels we’ve ever had. Kids meals were awesome and not basic. Open air concept was great as it started to rain. Service was amazing as well. Highly recommend.
I had high expectations, but unfortunately those expectations were not met. The food was good, not great. The service was poor at best. Our waitress did not want to be there. Thankfully we kept staring at another waitress who was doing a much better job and she took over the table. We probably won’t be back.
This is my second time visiting this restaurant. Our waiter again was Jamie and as always he was very friendly and attentive of our needs and asks. I went with my sister since I’ve been talking so much about my previous visit. She started with the beets salad while I had the mussels in the garlic white wine sauce. I don’t like beets but my sister said the salad had everything she lives so it’s a thumbs up. Mussels were delicious and that sauce OMG. We followed with the beef bourguignon and the fish and chips. This is the second time I have the beef bourguignon. My compliments to the chef. Dessert was delicious as well. Thank you for such great service and food.
My girlfriend and I shared the Watermelon Salad and the Burrata, which were both absolutely fabulous. She had the Branzino Filet and I had the Steak Frites with Béarnaise Sauce for our main course. We equally enjoyed those. Our only regret was we were too full to order their fabulous looking desserts. Can't wait to go back!!!
Bartender - Jamie is great!
An amazing experience!
We had been for brunch before and had a fantastic experience. The first time, we were told they had the be
Our experience was not the best, we're taking it up with the establishment.
Sunday Brunch was definitely not a good choice for a romantic meal!
Please note that this review does not reflect our opinion on the food (I was forced to rate it by system) because we didn't actually have any.
We booked a 7pm table for dinner for 6 this past Saturday evening and the restaurant was relatively empty went we got there. Everything started relatively smoothly and the appetizers were good but not exceptional.
The entrees came and that was when everything started going down hill. Two of us ordered steak frites, rare. A dish that I'd consider "automatic" for a well run bistro. One of the orders came with a completely broken Bearnaise sauce where you can visibly see the curdles. Both steaks were over cooked to be almost well done but strangely not showing any burnt marks. The fries were soft and had no crispness or crunch to them. The accompanying sides on the other dishes were extremely salty to the point where it was inedible. It could very well be our fault that we ordered a lot of appetizers and were taking too long to finish that the kitchen held our food under a heat lamp.
Our waitress was very nice but she was overwhelmed by the time our entries came. She did the customary question of "how is everything" but did not stop to hear what we had to say or noticed that I had a grey piece of shoe leather for a "rare" steak on my plate.
I would say that my overall experience was a little disappointing especially after reading all the glowing reviews on this website. The quality of food definitely did not live up to their name sake. My guess is maybe they were overwhelmed by too many guests and short staffed that night but is no excuse for the lack luster food. They will need to up their game to survive in this very competitive market.
The food was overall tasty. The cauliflower app very good. Mussels and fries good. Tuna Niçoise salad a bit sloppy and too big. Not sure why there were so many raw red onions, no need at all. Wine list just ok. Service was average and server was not experienced and showed signs of impatience and annoyance. Just overall average, room for improvement.
Consistently the best food! We can't wait to go back again.
my wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner last night. It was her birthday and she chose Bruxelles, knowing it would be special.
She enjoyed the delicious Cauliflower appetizer, and completely finished the generous serving, followed by the salmon entrée' - also delicious.
my appetizer was the pate' - incredible ! for main dish the Bronzini -
The flavors of each dish was memorable. desert of pinafore with chocolate - added a great finish.
Thank you to the generous spirit of the hosts, servers, cook.... very professional. We were grateful to be in such a special place for the evening.
I've been about 5 times so far since the food is so excellent. However I think they need to work on the wait staff/service. Initially I excused it due to covid, but each time the service has been spotty and weirdly inconsistent - which is a shame since the menu is so fantastic.
We celebrated our anniversary and it was great. Service was pleasant not pushy and food was excellent.
A lovely space and relaxing lunch therein. Great gin goblet cocktails.
I love the food the service is amazing. My favorite drink French martini. Congratulations for the bartender. We were there with my husband and two friends. Definitely we recommend Bruxelles.
It was wonderful. The room was noisy but everything else was great
Exactly what we were hoping for in a restaurant, thank you!
The menu, food and cocktails were excellent. The server was very friendly and he did a very nice job serving our food and conversing about the restaurant and its dishes. Would definitely go back.
Delicious dishes with layers of flavors, welcoming staff.
A mixed bag for me. The escargots were not prepared in a traditional manner. I realize that’s a matter of personal taste and while I ate them, I wouldn’t be going back for more. The mixed greens that accompanied were drowned in lemon juice … too much pucker for me. The branzino & accompanying sides were very good.
wanting a needed break, we made reservations at Bruxelles Brasserie for Monday night dinner. I enjoyed the mussels special, my wife enjoyed her Veggie burger. We shared the delicious beet salad. We had a wonderful evening and dinner at this special restaurant. Highly recommend, as we have dined here several times before and have always had an excellent experience.
Good as always
Classic food, nice atmosphere great cocktails. We will be back.
Fun dinner. Service friendly, but not attentive enough. Food was good.
Food was great, but the band playing at a nearby bar made for a noisy experience.
Wonderful evening of amazing food. The mussels were fantastic with the corn/scallion sauce. A refreshing change from the usual white wine and garlic (also good but variety keeps life interesting).
Only downside was the band across the street at the Burger Bar who were too loud (even from across the street).
Very loud inside and outside.
The food is the draw--it is always really delicious. The quality of the service needs to catch up with the quality of the food. Had a server outdoors that did not dress the table with any napkins, plates or cutlery--25 minutes after sitting down. Had to chase her down for drinks. When asked for the tableware, she brought it over in a pile. I am cheering for the success of this place b/c the food is always consistently on point--whether it's oysters, their burgers, salads, brunch--it's always solid. The service needs to polish up their hospitality skills--but even so, I'll still be back for the food.
This was my second visit to Bruxelles. Both times the food and service was excellent and the ambience pleasant. I will definitely return!
Service was subpar, Steak frites was tough to cut and chew. Not really what I was expecting.
We had a delicious mothers day brunch yesterday, the food was outstanding and beautifully presented. the server and manager were attentive and professional. The drink menu is very creative and the vibe is energetic. We will be back.
Went for brunch .The bakery basket was delicious . Crepe dish very salty , could not finish it . Disappointed in my meal . Overall service very good . May give it a second chance .
Delicious food and great service! Highly recommend.
Bruxelles is by far my favorite restaurant in the whole region. Between the food, decor, ambiance and service, the whole experience is a delight!
Solid meal and good service. Especially enjoyed the cocktail before the meal.
Service was great and most of the food was good - BUT - a Belgian restaurant should serve killer frites. These were flaccid and slightly bitter. Please give those potatoes the attention they receive at the tiniest frites vendor in Brussels!
Some of the best brunch food I’ve tasted!
Wonderful first visit on a Saturday evening. Interesting, diverse menu with a good selection of wines by the glass, draft and unique bottled beers. While the main dishes looked excellent, we dined on small plates -- croquettes, pate, escargot and mussels. Felt it was a very good value. Will be back!
Just all around incredible, from quality of food to service to prices. A gem that i wish that i had found much sooner. Can’t wait to return
