Our reservation was ready upon arrival. We received a tour on the way to our table but unfortunately were seated by a very loud boisterous party of 12. After our bread arrived but before we ordered we requested to be moved to a quiet area and it was done within a couple of minutes. the new place was wonderful and quiet despite being near the stairs to the bathrooms. The food was ordered and came quickly. the lasagna was delicious and worth the money, but $18 for a plate of understeamed broccoli with parmesan cheese on top seemed too much. we thought it would be sauteed with garlic, but the garlic was separate and also undercooked, We took it home and it will be delicious sauteed to a tender crisp state with the garlic browned a little to make it mild and cooked rather than chopped raw tasting. The free birthday dessert was why we chose Buca in the first place (driving up from Stockton) and the colossal brownie sundae did not disappoint!

The staff was super friendly and accommodating of everything we asked. Again the staff was amazing. The food did not match that of the staff in which I will attribute it to the size of our party. I would certainly come back again

Homeless living right at the restaurant outside. Dirty. The waitress was awful. Not happy about having to do her job. The hostess apologized to her for putting people in her area. Manager tiptoed around her. Will NOT go back

It has been several years since we have been here, but things have definitely went downhill. We got three different family style pastas, bread, salads, app..the works, and only one of them tasted somewhat decent. Bread had way too much garlic on it, salads were soggy, fettuccine lacked serious flavor, baked ziti was just plain disgusting, and the server seemed like she definitely did not want to be there (automatic gratuity at 6 people btw). For $175-200, you can definitely get better food, and service somewhere else. We won't be returning...

They must have been understaffed. We ordered pizza. Were later told they had no dough. We ordered 3 meatballs. We were told they only had 2 when the brought the food. They apologized with a brownie sundae. They had no spoons. And the table next to us was empty and dirty when we arrived. It remained the same when we left.

Food was served extremely cold like it had been in the refrigerator and just put on our plate. No air conditioning and you had to walk through the kitchen to get to your table . The booth was extremely uncomfortable.

The service was terrible. The waitress had to be asked for water multiple times. Eventually, after the meal was served, we asked again and she brought us water. The food was good. The atmosphere was great. The waitress never refilled our waters. See water doesn’t increase her tip, therefore there is no incentive. The waitress brought the check. She returned a few minutes later and requested payment. It wasn’t that she asked us to leave, but I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome.

We had a great time, there were 5 of us and if you order 4 dishes that serve 3 you will have more than enough food. We started with the Trio Appetizer which was great and be aware spicy shrimp means spicy, then we had the apple salad, ravioli with meat sauce and chicken stuffed with prociutto and of course we had garlic cheesy bread and a great wine. Fabulous, great staff and good food with enough to bring some home. Haven't been to Buca in 5 or 6 years, we will be back sooner.

We arrived during a slow time, so the restaurant wasn't its usual loud self which was nice. We ordered house salad, garlic bread, chicken limone, chicken carbonara and Quattro al Forno. Everything was very tasty and arrived as it was described on the menu. My only complaint was that they were a little skimpy with the capers on the limone. It was fried very nicely and the sauce was just tart enough. I didn't try the other entrées, but everyone enjoyed their food. We ordered Italian cream cake for dessert to split. The cake was light in texture with lots of whipped cream and a fresh raspberry sauce. It tasted fresh and not overly sweet, so it was the perfect end to our dinner. It is pricey, so plan to split items to save some money. I would definitely go back. Maybe for lunch when the prices and portions are smaller.

Our waitress was very kind and attentive, so this review has nothing to do towards her. I had ordered the spicy chicken rigatoni and my boyfriend ordered lasagna during lunch. His lasagna was burnt but he ate around it, and my chicken tasted like freezer burn and a little fishy??? We also ordered drinks, he got an old fashion which tasted watered down, and I got a sparkling sangria which tasted like toilet water (my boyfriend tried it too and said it shouldn’t taste like that). We are not picky eaters and we enjoy all types of food, but we didn’t even stay to finish our lunch and just ended up paying and eating somewhere else. Our waitress was kind enough to take off my drink from our tab since I took barely two sips of it. I didn’t want to seem cheap and complain about the food to her either so again we just ended up going to a different restaurant.

When I called to make reservations the guy on the phone was useless, while waiting on hold for about 20 minutes I went to the Open Table app and booked a table for 7 people. Jamie our server was awesome and the food was good. My granddaughter had a blast looking at all the stuff on the walls. We were there for a birthday celebration and the staff was very accommodating.

Absolutely the worst dining experience of my life. Food was only sort of ok. Appetizers never came. Drinks came when we had almost finished our meal. The whole restaurant is in disarray. Decorations filled with dust and broken. It was chaos. I don’t know how in the world they are still open. Three hundred dollars later we went home and had leftovers.

We had a family group of 19 celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday. Our server was fantastic - very attentive & friendly. We received our drinks and food in a very timely manner and everything was delicious. Buca di Beppo is my daughters go to restaurant every year for her birthday. Excellent service!!

Service was outstanding. We were seated in the bar area at a table surrounded by tables that were left not bussed the whole time. There were no other patrons in this room. The room had the look and feel of a trashed party place. The Shrimp Scampi pasta was ok. The Lemon Chicken and Mozzarella Caprese were good. $198 for three dishes, 2 beers a bottle of wine and tip certainly is overpriced. No need to go on further as we would not recommend this to our friends.

The young lady who was our waitress was very attentive and took exceptional care of us including checking on us regularly. The chicken Limone was the best ever and the rest of the meal was great.

Food was great. the service was horrible. Waitress only came over twice. Told us hot fresh bread coming out of oven and we never got any. Customers seated after us got bread waited 30 min for a drink refill

As always, the food is fabulous and the serving sizes are over the top, you eat leftovers for days afterwards but that isn’t actually a problem… we always request the kitchen table so that we can watch the behind the scenes action.

Our reservation was at 5:30 pm, but we didn't leave the restaurant until 8:15 due to what seemed to be unnecessarily slow service. We were initially seated at a table that we deemed unfavorable due to the cold temp in the area, so asked to be moved. The host honored our request and moved us, but the server for the new table was not informed of our arrival, so after waiting about 10 mins, we asked another server if she would let our server know we were waiting at an empty table. Our server was very nice, but overly chatty to the point that she seemed unable to read the sentiment of the guests at the table. We ordered a very spicy appetizer, which came out before the bread for the table, so several people in my party suffered through the spicy heat of the appetizer without the benefit of bread and oil/butter to offset the burning. Bread eventually served after all of the entrees arrived, but without butter or oil & vinegar, so we had to wait more time for the server to bring those things. There seemed to be plenty of bussers and other support staff around, but our server seemed determined to do everything herself from refilling water to bringing us clean plates, napkins, and oil/vinegar. Unfortunately, our server had two other tables to focus on, and each of those tables had larger partied to attend to (10+). By not utilizing the support staff to assist with the service to all of her tables, we seemed to do a lot of waiting between stages, which prolonged the time needed for us to complete our meal.

I had made reservations for our party of five to dine here on Christmas Day. There weren’t many restaurants open that day, and a couple of reasons we chose this one was because they had a gluten-free menu and we remembered the pepperoni pizza as being exceptional from previous visits. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and a salad as our first course. We then found out that the restaurant was out of 2 of the 3 items that the member of our group wanted to order from the gluten-free menu. The rest of our party waited eagerly for our pepperoni pizza for over an hour. We were finally told that the restaurant was out of pizza dough, after being told numerous times that the pizza would be out in a few minutes! This definitely was not the Christmas dinner we had all been looking forward to!
