    The food was good, had a lot of flavor and seasoning, the only down side was that my steak was way overcooked. The restaurant wasn't crazy busy but it seemed like they were understaffed. The server was in a rush and unable to clear the table between every meal. The bar took a minute to get drinks in.

    First experience at Bulla. The hostess was a little terse with conversation as we were being seated. We ordered the crochets with fig jelly and they were just OK. Our server, Willie, was awesome and did a wonderful job. We orders the seafood pallia. The seafood tasted very metal heavy. They did bring our a nice little birthday treats for my wife, but we’re were unimpressed with the overall experience and will probably not go back.

    We went for restaurant week. The service (Camilla?) was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the tuna and mussel appetizers. I wish there had been an included drink to choose from that wasn’t sweet. Other than that, everything was great.

    We went for restaurant week and it was absolutely delicious! We tried as many items as we could and everything was outstanding. From drinks to dessert the food was absolutely incredible, and I can't wait to go back and try more items on the regular menu. Our service was great as well! Thank you!

    Great food. Decent value especially on Queens Feast menu. Service very slow and frustrating. Ordered drinks before dessert came out and they came 10 minutes after we were finished. Ended up not drinking them because we were ready to leave at that point. Mentioned something to the server but she did not take the drinks off the bill.

    We selected Bulla Gastrobar while in Charlotte to visit friends. The brunch menu looked amazing and previous reviewers raved about the Blueberry Ricotta pancakes so we decided to check them out. We chose items from the Prix Fixe Menu and we were not disappointed. Willie G. Was our server and he was training another host. Both servers made our experience memorable and enjoyable. The smoked salmon with truffle honey was fabulous. I had the bikini which was a open faced croque madame and it was lovely. The blueberry ricotta pancakes were all they were hyped up to be. I also can’t forget about my delicious sangria blanco and my coffee drink with espresso and condensed milk. We will definitely be back.

    Brunch was delicious. Only complaint is that there was no coffee! I was so looking forward to a nice cup at 11am to go with my breakfast of eggs Benedict but their machine was broken. I was surprised that they didn’t improvise, like how about old fashioned brewed, or pour over?

    My husband and I took another couple with us to let them see what tapas style eating was like, and we were not at all disappointed. :-) We have been to Spain and enjoyed tapas there, and the food here was equally amazing. The paella that we got was delicious, and my husband even tried the clams which were a seasonal special. I can say that we will definitely be back because there were things that we did not get to try.

    The chef does a magnificent job of making each meal a treat. However, communication and timing are still issues that need work. My steak arrived cool and chilled down quickly while the other entre arrived steaming hot. It was also unfortunate that our server was not made aware that the chosen dessert of cheesecake was sold out earlier than she was. The manager was made aware and comped part of our meal as well as gave a gift card. Third attempt at meal at Gulla, still a work in process, it seems. Will still be coming back. Food is outstanding!!

    Had several of the tapa dishes and they were all very good. Patatas bravas was similar to what had in Barcelona! I’ll be back.

    I hadn't realized that on Saturday there's a limited/brunch menu. They weren't able to make a regular menu item for us due to the limited menu during our visit, however many of the tapas were available for the brunch menu and those were up to par with the usual quality and I enjoyed them a lot. I'm sure the brunch items would have been nice as well. Service was a bit slow, but nothing unreasonable. It was pretty crowded, especially around 1:30-2 pm.

    This was my second time to Bulla. I went back specifically for brunch to get another order of the Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes (these are only served on weekends). I have a culinary degree and spouse is a Chef so when I say these are hands down the best pancakes I’ve ever had, I can say it with experience. They’re fluffy with the perfect amount of ricotta, topped with blueberry compote and lemon gel - order extra of that, trust me. You don’t need syrup, although they do serve it with a side of syrup and butter. This time around my friend and both I placed another order to take home. Be sure to check out the Patatas Bravas as well, you won’t be sorry. The wait staff has been excellent both visits; attentive and friendly. The restaurant is beautifully put together with an open kitchen and well planned dining room. 100% recommend

    Had a fantastic birthday celebration here! Cartier was an amazing sever and had great recommendations- the patatas bravas, montaditos, and curry shrimp were my favorites of the night, I will be coming here again for a special night out!

    The Caesar salad was not chilled and the dressing was too thick. It said ham but didn’t have it. It also needed salt. The Paella was bland, the pan was very hot but the rice was just warm.
