   Food was undercooked on the steak and overcooked on the salmon. Service was spotty and delayed, no bread offered for the table. The one thing that went well was the Salmon Bisque, it was excellent. I would not complain about serve except that we had gone two weeks ago and the service was exceptional then.

   Entrance doors need to be marked and unlocked. Parked on handicapped side of Brecksville building and the doors were locked and not marked as to which door to use.

   Made a second reservation for 4 days later. Arrived on time with out of town company only to be told there was no room and it would be a 30 minute wait!

   We had a very good dinner experience. The food was great and the service provided by. Emily was exceptional. The manager stopped at our table a couple times, and was very kind. Thank you!!

   Decided to give this place one more try after a terrible visit a couple months ago.. bad idea. We were one of two tables in the dining room area, our 3 lunch time meals took about 30 minutes, the soup that had apparently been sitting under heat lamps for quite some time was barely warm, and we sat with empty plates for 10 minutes waiting for our check.

   It was just okay. Our Moscow mules we ordered were first served in a regular glass rather than the standard mule mug. It took quite a long time for our food to arrive even tho the place wasn’t that busy.

    First order of Chicken Marsala came out rubbery and undercooked. Sent it back and just order a burger. Burger order was completely wrong. 2 hrs for this whole process. Had tickets to a show and left without eating a meal. Wife said her steak salad and French onion soup were very good.

    Short staffed, dirty table, cold food. Two people in my party ordered steak fries. Both came without the tobacco onions. When we asked the server she claimed that that particular meal does not come with vegetables!!! When we told the server that we ordered an hour ago, she had the audacity to tell us that it was only 45 min, like that is decent wait time!!?? Maybe if they would have said that they were short staffed and apologized, we could have been more understanding. As a manager there I would've at least bus tables or take orders, not just sit around. You can't just buy your way out with champagne (which we refused). At least he had the decency to take a meal out of the bill. Too bad because this is a wonderful restaurant but poorly managed.

    I usually go to the one in North Olmsted or Crocker Park but our friends wanted to meet in Brecksville. We tried calling other restaurants for reservations and every one was booked probably do to the holiday. However, this one wasn't so we went. At different spots in the restaurant it smelled like sewage. Not good. I ordered the salmon which was good as well as the potatoes but the they were laying over cut up raw tomatoes which I though was a very odd and unappealing choice with that entree. My husband's chicken marsella was a extremely small portion compared to any other restaurant that serves that dish. It wasn't crowded at all...maybe that's why. Our server was great and the food came out quickly.

    Service cordial and helpful. Food not so much. Caesar salad soaked in dressing. Calamari seemed to be drenched in lemon. Dipping sauces - chili or whatever it was supposed to be was not spicy and plain ketchup would have been better. Mayo was too citrusy - no finesse at all.

    I made a reservation for the hubby's birthday. The ambiance of the restaurant was cute, the food was good, the service was eh ok. The waitress was nice and it was hard to tell if the kitchen was slow or she was slow. We sat for about 8-10 minutes before anyone even came over. We ordered a bottle of Merlot, which was good. We decided on an appetizer, we got the sweet chili chicken which was good., but took forever to get. Meanwhile the waitress didn't come over to check on us, or to take our entree order. The appetizer came out (finally), we ordered our entrees, which were the Burntwood burger and the chicken Marsala. Food again took forever, the waitress finally brings out the dishes then proceeds to say, we are waiting on fries but I wanted to at least bring out this. Now, I was not upset that the fries were brought separate but really, you are waiting on fries for the burger.... The chicken Marsala my husband said was good but unique, it wasn't normal chicken Marsala, the burger was good, but wasn't anything special. I would have given a higher rating if the service was better, and the communication was better. I understand if the kitchen is swamped and things are taking longer than normal, but communicate that. Overall, we won't be back, we didn't hate it, it was ok, but nothing to write home about.

    Apps were great but the fish and chips came out with the batter not cooked through. You could taste and feel the raw beer batter. I didn’t complain. Just brought it home to hopefully fry longer for another chance at eating it.

    Burntwood happy hour is great. Amy, our server, was excellent! The only reason the food got 4 stars was bc the calamari was cool in temperature!

    Used to love this place, went for a nice meal out with family from out of town. Service was slow and spotty despite the place being nearly empty when we arrived. Food came at different times and with wrong items, quality was fine but nothing spectacular. Not sure we’ll be back. Disappointing and definitely not worth the price.

    Pretzel sticks appetizer not good. They were cold and the cheese dip they are served with was not good tasting and didn't go at all with pretzel sticks- bad combo. The Crispy Thai Chicken app - good concept but needs work. The chicken pieces were like McDonalds chicken nuggets and the sauce was just ok - kinda odd. The wedge and crusted chx salads were good. Nice ambiance but the food is all too always lack luster.

    Waiter was very friendly but service was extremely slow for the middle of the afternoon. Seems like party upstairs was using the wait staff. Wouldn’t have been a problem except we needed to get to the airport to catch our plane. Thankfully we made it but it was stressful making it on time. Atmosphere was very nice and rustic. Food was good but a little on the spicy side.

    Absolutely love the atmosphere and decor and we were seated at a great table on a small stage at the back of the restaurant. Not a ton of food choices but everything we got was delicious. Awesome server-very attentive. Kid-friendly; casual dining

    We celebrated a birthday and everything was wonderful! The server was so personable, professional accommodating and amenable. Fantastic service! The food was served hot, fresh and delicious. My friends complimented the mahi-mahi sandwich, the French dip and the appetizers were excellent. One can never go wrong on the tots, calamari was scrumptious and the flatbread so crisp and full of flavor. Desserts were spectacular. Wonderful meal in a great atmosphere! The ghosts of the Spanish Tavern benignly hover!!
