   This place was empty of patrons - for good reasons. No greeter. Seat yourself please. Food choices poor. 18% automatic tip at a buffet for a party of six!!! All the server did was bring us drinks and a bill. Then the app payment wanted to also add another 18% tip and could not be edited to remove this. What an expensive joke of a restaurant!!!

   Salad bar and appys fresh. Soups barely luke warm. Entrees mostly gross. Sirloin was leather, salmon was dry and green beans were overcooked and gross. Chicken wings ok, mashed potatoes delicious. And that was the entire dinner bar other than a handful of desserts (literally a better dessert selection then dinner).

   Outdated hotel, buffet was complete chaos. Check in was chaos. Everyone super friendly but Endless Mimosas were not endless. Server was in the weeds and plates stacked up on table, no refills. Food was ok. Dessert was great!

   For 3 adults and one child we payed about $300 because tip and service fees were added.I don’t understand how 60 a person and 30 a child came up to $300. We had reservations for 4:30 but didn’t get to eat until 5:09.We never received napkins or silverware but we found some forks by the salad bar.Coffee never came because he was busy. My daughter wanted tea and she couldn’t get that either. Dessert was outstanding and hotel was beautiful and clean.

   Ridiculous to be forced to pay $30 for a tip for a lack lusting service, flat soda, and going through a circus to even get seated and to pay for our meal. Food was ok but not worth $70 a Person. Should have kept our orginal plans and gone to Texas De Brazil.

   We visited Cafe Gauguin for Christmas Brunch. It was very crowded. Our reservation was for 4:30. After visiting the check-in station and then waiting in line again to pay. We went to another line to turn in our receipt. We were told it would be a 7 minute wait and to help ourselves to mimosas and food in the waiting area. The mimosas were great. Friendly bartender. However, the food was mostly gone. There were some vegetables (few) and fruit (again a few pieces), no cheese was left and there were some crackers. We had a seat and waited. After 10 minutes I went to check our status and was told that they had already called our name and we would need to wait a little longer. This made me unhappy, but they took very soon after that. The ambiance was great. However, you could get lost in the venue trying to find the food. They did provide a map. Service was excellent! We were well taken care of by 1 main server and an assistant. The food was mostly cold. I noticed several chafing dishes with heaters that had gone out. There was a great variety of food, but it appeared we were too late in the day to get fresh, hot food. I tried an Eggs Benedict which was very tasty but cold and the English Muffin needed a chain saw to cut it. Bacon was cold. The ham was fine but the beef wasn’t very flavorful. Shrimp were fine as were the salads. The stars of the meal were the desserts! I tried pecan pie (delicious) and a wonderful French apple torte. All puddings/mousses were gone by the time we hit the desserts. The meal was average and I don’t think I will revisit this venue for special meals. These opinions are based on my experience at the Christmas Day Buffet. The restaurants normal operation may be quite different.

   It had been several years since we dined here for the Christmas buffet. My family and I were disappointed considering that we had dined at Rosen Shingle Creek last year. Immediately we could tell a difference from Shingle Creek with the check in station, the separate line to pay, the wait to have your name called, the confusion of being left by the person who was directing several parties to their tables. The buffet at Rosen Centre was different from years past in that there was fewer variety of dishes, less cooking stations, an unappealing salad bar, and unpleasant clientele, many of whom rushed around and hoarded food as if it weren’t being constantly replenished. Even more disappointing, most of the food was either lukewarm or cold. My husband had to request his food be heated in the microwave due to health reasons. Our server was very accommodating. The only thing I enjoyed about the buffet was the omelette bar and pistachio macarons.

    The food was very good. Not my first time there, so I knew it would be good. My grandchildren loved it and there was a big variety for them. I would come back every year rather than cook at home. The price has gone up a little too much for me. So I’m afraid I might get priced out. Living in central Florida it is nice to have great places to eat at your fingertips.

    We enjoyed our Christmas lunch apart from the 2 boys who were allowed to come in for free not paying a cent who were very loud.they just sat at a reserved table which wasn’t there’s if I knew anyone could just walk in without paying I would not of booked lunch with you

    Decent brunch for Christmas. Chicken,ham and steak were dry. Cheddar scalloped potatoes under cooked. Soups were very good and so were chilled shrimp and crab claws. Excellent variety of deserts.

    Food was cold and soggy. Exposed not worth the money. Ran out of Orange juice for memosa as well. Chaotic couldn't find what yiur lookong doe and missing food that was listed on the menu. It was terrible experience.

    Went for breakfast and it wasn’t busy. Buffet style, everything was hot and fresh. Our host and server were awesome. They don’t validate valet which is ok. That was about $35. I believe there is free parking in the back of hotel. Just give yourself time to park if you have reservations.

    For many years, my wife has cooked Thanksgiving dinner. This year we’ve decided that we wanted to eat out so she could enjoy herself. We picked the Rozen, and we are very glad that we did. We got a room to stay the night and we enjoyed a great Thanksgiving meal, and we enjoyed some cocktails. It was a wonderful Thanksgiving and I believe we will be doing this from now on. Russ Rollins

    Food was great. As we’ve been there before on Thanksgiving this years check-in to table was not up to last years process. A lot of wasted time waiting to be called. Last year the process ran more smoothly.

    The food was great. Above average. (Not the crab claws, they weren’t good). Item after item was outstanding. The only problem was that their website had offered a lower price with reservation. Turns out it had to be a prepaid reservation. I was charged a higher price and they did nothing to resolve it. An immediate turnoff. You had to prepay on site anyway! It seems it would be easy to put the word “prepaid” in front of “reservation” instead of expecting small print to be read. Overall a good experience, but they should lose the pricing variance.

    Not quite the great experience we've had 5 Thanksgivings before. One thing my wife always looked forward to that was missing was dark-meat turkey (which she likes and I don't). The staff seating people seemed to be confused in general and the person seating us appeared to be lost finding our table. Hopefully things will be better in 2023.

    We made reservations for the Thanksgiving buffet as we were vacationing in Orlando and wanted to do something traditional. The buffet did not disappoint. We had two kids and they were able to find plenty of options that satisfied their picky tastes! Highly recommend! Our favorites were the tacos, mashed potatoes, sushi and desserts!

    Con - We requested an ADA accessible table near the fish tank for my 92 year old mother but were given a table near the rear of the restaurant. Pros - while the price is ridiculously high, the food and service are excellent. We go to this buffet four times a year.

    I do not know if it is because I am still concerned about the pandemic, but I have been to Gaugin's Mothers Day buffet in the past, and I did not feel that this occasion matched the last time I was there. The food however, was great.

    Service is excellent and friendly. This was our 3 rd year celebrating Thanksgiving at Cafe Gauguin an we enjoy it. I will say a couple of critical points: the dressing/stuffing has an odd taste, mash potatoes are lumpy which I don’t care for, the carrot cake wasn’t really carrot cake. Other than these critical things, the pumpkin spice cake was excellent, best macaron I’ve ever had. There was no green bean casserole nor dinner rolls to be found. Excellent breakfast foods and pastries. Even with some critical issues, we will be back next year if we are in town.

    An incredible Thanksgiving Day experience. I wish I had known about it sooner. The staff was top-notch, the food was spectacular and the "buffet system" of feeding hundreds of hungry guests moved smoothly and flawlessly. The Manager, Luis Melendez and his staff, from check-in until the end of the meal, were outstanding. Mr. Melendez and his crew of chefs, servers and support staff provided my family with a day we will never forget and a new tradition that we will continue to follow, annually. I am already looking forward to next year! Just a great day!
