Cafe Juanita serves prix-fixe multi-course tasting menus with optional wine pairings, and many other tempting possibilities to embellish your meal. Current menus can be viewed at www.cafejuanita.com. We are happy to modify dishes for dietary restrictions; please advise when making reservations. We offer four tasting menus from which you may choose: omnivore, pescatarian, vegetarian, and vegan, ranging in price per person from $150-$190. We have a supplemental a la carte menu, and tasting menu items can also be ordered a la carte.

    The food is awesome and authentic. The service was very professional, timely and attentive to details. We enjoyed it. One thing that was a bit weird is that they charge $10 for valet parking. It was somewhat surprising that after paying $190 per person, not including beverages and tips you also need to pay $10 separately for parking and there are no covered spaces for the cars. Given the upscale pricing, I'd expect the parking to be included in the reservation at no additional charge.

    Consistently the best restaurant experience in the Puget Sound area. Chef makes a menu that is somehow seasonally appropriate and interesting. Service is top notch. Every time I have entertained clients or had a special family event everyone is raving at the end of the experience.

    Fine dinning with surprising wine pairings. Champagne paired with white truffle tajarin stood out for its subtle earthiness. Service was attentive without being overly familiar. Overall a first class experience. Thank you for a memorable anniversary celebration.

    Lovely belated birthday for my husband at Cafe Juanita!! Dinner was delicious as expected. Service was wonderful. We had a great time! Only opportunity for improvement is to sell those delicious cheese crackers by the bagful to customers. 😉

    Outstanding service and food! First time at Juanita Cafe and we were blown away by food. We had the carnivore tasting menu paired with wine. The taste and presentation of food, as well as wine selection, were memorable. Highly recommend for romantic dinner or larger parties. This is one of the best in the Seattle area!

    We had a wonderful anniversary dinner for two at Cafe Juanita! I had the Omnivore course while my wife opted for Pescatarian, allowing us to sample a bit of both. We also enjoyed the wine pairing add-on, and definitely believe it is worth it. The wines paired with the courses opened a whole new taste experience, so kudos to the person/people that decided on those pairings. Our server was Paul, and he was fantastic as well, explaining the wines in excellent detail without "talking down" to a couple that loves wine but doesn't know that much about it. Thank you Paul and the rest of the crew for a most excellent dining experience.

    The tasting menu had many unique items that I would never have tried otherwise. Best recommendation is to look at the options before you go so that you can decide on what you want prior to going. But be adventurous, you won't be disappointed.

    This restaurant is an amazing full experience. The omnivore menu was to die for and the flavors offered were spectacular. The wine pairing introduced really unique and delicious wines and styles of wines I've never had. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I eat Gluten Free and they were VERY accommodating and had delicious substitutions. The risotto was gf and I could eat it every day.

    My parter and I had a wonderful experience at Cafe Juanita. The food was well curated and creative, the service was friendly and impeccable. There was nothing we needed to ask for because they were a step ahead of us during our dinner. We had the best anniversary celebration!

    The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, friendly and professional, and the server explained each part of the menu as it was presented. Nice relaxed atmosphere, and tables were far enough apart so you couldn’t easily hear your neighbors. It was a very special experience.

    We continue to be impressed by Cafe Juanita. The service is impeccable (thanks, Paul!) and the food outstanding (we'd go there even if they only offered their wonderful bread basket, which typically contains 2 or 3 types of freshly baked bread and a couple of kinds of crackers, all made in house). We both ordered the pescaterian option on the tasting menu. The Hokkaido scallops (served raw) were amazing, as was the amuse bouche (in particular the porcini soup). The tagliatelle with chanterelles was full of umami (achieved by using the house stock, made with chicken, rabbit, and prosciutto). The sablefish was the only mildly disappointing dish, because we both felt it was a bit bland, but it was not enough to take away from the rest of the food.

We had one diner who ate from the vegan menu & were impressed with the seasonality of the menu, the thoughtfulness that went into each course, & the information provided by the staff. The mocktails were delicious & the attention paid to our birthday girl was lovely. Wouldn't change a thing about our wonderful dining experience.

    Returning for the fifth year in a row to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary, we absolutely adore Cafe Juanita and always have such great memories of our experiences there. Food, as always, was exquisite and the ambience was perfect.

    Welll structured tasting menu with excellent wine pairings. Chef offered a list or supplementary or alternative choices as well but we stuck with the omnivore tasting menu. Only one course - the waygu “carpaccio” like dish — was confusing and underwhelming- the cracker baring the delicate meat and its enhancement actually overwhelmed it such that we were left with only the strongly herbed cracker and the fatty feel of the waygu. Every other course as an absolute delight! Atmospherically- the lady and the table next to us talked at a loud level and talked non stop through the experience and the smaller room (former garage) we were in only enhanced that sound. Unfortunate. But chef Holly is a genius and the staff were wonderful.

    This experience was memorable on every level for my wife and I. We were there almost three hours but the pace of the courses made it seem like much less time had passed. Fine dining at its absolute best and a restaurant we would definitely recommend and would travel to Seattle (from Naples, Florida) just to eat here again. The service, the food, the explanation in minute detail of each and every one of the chef's creations, all were exceptional. We were seated in the very back room, which was very dark so the next visit I would request the main dining room.

    A very special dinner for my wife and I to celebrate our birthdays. The food was excellent and unique. I can't possibly describe each of the many courses we were served, or their names, except that our entree was the Sable fish. Highly recommended. The service was very friendly and patiently explained each dish they served. The price was probably appropriate for the whole experience - but it is not an experience we will enjoy with any frequency.

    I was excited to try out the tasting menu concept. Though I’ve had the great privilege to eat at Cafe Juanita multiple times, I got to try more dishes. I always arrived intending to try other things but ended up getting the foie gras and the rabbit as they were so good Well, the food blew my mind. The foie gras was amazing as usual. The croccante was not what I expected in presentation but it was stunning. The risotto was literally the best risotto I've ever eaten. I was intrigued by the tajarin as there's nowhere to hide with such simplicity and again the genius of your cooking made it so delicious. The Iberia presa was packed with flavour and I loved all the accompaniments. Another stunning meal backed up by great knowledgable service

    My wife and I dined at Café Juanita on several occasions in the 1980s and early 1990s before settling down in West Seattle. Although it is a bit of drive for us, we have talked about returning many times. We finally made it back recently to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. The restaurant is now under new ownership, but the quality is every bit as good, if not better than what we had experienced many years ago. Having spent 18 months working and living in Paris, we found the tasting menu food quality, presentation and amounts to be Michelin Guide level of excellence. The wine paring was the best we have ever experience. The wines were unique and paired well with food. The service and atmosphere (not too noisy) are also great. We will be back.

    We have been wanting to try Cafe Juanita for years as adults as we both grew up in Kirkland. We were never able to secure a reservation so excited we were finally able to give it a try! It was a lovely experience! My favorite was the special wine pairing from Northern Italy!
