   We made reservations for breakfast at this restaurant for each morning of our 3-night stay. We were looking forward to starting our days off with a nice meal. Unfortunately, this was not it. We chose to order a la carte versus the buffet. Our orders were simple: eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. How could they mess this up, right? Well, let me tell you how! The scrambled eggs were undercooked and the over-medium eggs were over-hard. The bacon was dried out - not crispy, just tough. The hash browns were very brown - in fact, they were burnt to a crisp! Honestly, I wish we had taken pictures of our meals so I could share them here. In retrospect, we should’ve sent the food back and I don’t know why we didn’t. We didn’t eat our food (well, I ate the eggs and some toast because I was starving). The waitress must have noticed that we didn’t eat our food but she didn’t say a word. We just paid our bill and left. We will find other options for the rest of our stay.

   We ate here at Christmas and were delighted to find they had a whole new selection for New Year’s buffet. The food was tasty, plentiful and replenished regularly. Our servers were extremely pleasant and attentive.

   We went for New Year's Eve dinner, so it was pricier than usual and had a 26% service charge built in from the beginning. That's totally fine, I always tip 18-20% and I get giving more for a busy, stressful holiday dinner. The food was great! 5 stars, big buffet with tons of choice and well-cooked. The problem was the service, which I would give 0 stars. It was literally the worst service I've ever received, and it sucks because it was a big splurge we had put money aside for after a pricey holiday season. I've worked a lot in the service industry and consider myself pretty patient and understanding because I know what it's like to get rude, entitled customers. But we weren't that. We went 15 mins without being acknowledged when first seated, and when we were finally acknowledged he mentioned nothing about the wait and the only thing he said was "can I get you some water or champagne?". For the rest of the evening, we had to flag him down every single time we wanted more water, a refill of the "unlimited" champagne, or to clear plates to make room at our table. No, seriously, he didn't come back of his own accord once, we would have to wave him over maybe every 20 minutes and often we would ask him for more drinks and it would take another 20 minutes or so to come back with the beverage. And no, he wasn't slammed with tables, he was going at quite a leisurely pace and obviously just didn't see the big deal; you could tell he was exasperated and annoyed every time we asked him politely to provide us drinks or clear our plates ("ok, ok, I'm coming"). So a 26% service charge for someone to get annoyed with you to do literally the bare minimum. You could go and have a better experience than us, but I probably would go elsewhere for our next big dinner in order to not risk fighting for a glass of water or some space at the table the whole night lol

   Most all food was excellent as usual but with a few exceptions. Like Thanksgiving, the dressing was runny and pretty disgusting and the desserts are inconsistent- some wonderful and some pretty bad. The 26% required service fee brings the total cost per person to about $100 so the value is fair at best

    Everything was fabulous. From the time we were greeted until the time we finished our meal, we could not have asked for more. This was our Christmas present to each other and it was an experience we will not forget.

    Over the years the quality and variety of the food has gone downhill! We have been coming here for over a decade and I’m sorry to say I can no longer recommend this restaurant for special occasions and holidays. The food on the hot line was warm at best. They eliminated or reduced several types of serving stations. Desserts were stale and with little taste. Not up to the Rosen standards as in the past.

    Best Christmas dinner buffet ever! I take my daughter and grandchildren to nice buffets several times a year for special occasions, and everyone agreed we never need to look for another place. Cafe Osceola at Shingle Creek is our favorite now

    We're seated the wine glasses were dirty and covered with finger prints we asked the waiter for clean glasses he brought out cleaner glasses then the waiter held the pitcher of water up and looked in it 'not a good thing' like he saw something in the water then poured the water in our glasses that had white flakes in it looked like food, so we asked to speak to a manager at that point so he brought out bottled water instead we were the only party drinking bottled water which made it kind of weird considering how many people were dining around us that were drinking out of a glass, they never asked us what we wanted to drink other than the water disaster I had to ask for iced tea 45 minutes in after being seated, later upon finishing up our dinner the manager walks over to our booth and leans over the table and didn't say anything after a moment of uncomfortable silence he asked is everything okay now? that's weird lol 'Note' we dine here every year for Thanksgiving or Christmas sorry to say this was disappointing experience This is not Rosen standard that we're use to we'll still go to Land Remembered that's an awesome restaurant

    Food is excellent, and service is pretty good. We go every year for Christmas, and it never disappoints. Prices went up this year, enough to give me pause about making a reservation, but I get it with the rising food costs over the past year.

    The food was sadly disappointing and very mediocre. For $240.00 US for 2 people, I expected better quality. I know prime rib is on the rare side, but this was bloody rare and more fat than meat. The sushi and Asian food was horrible and the sushi rice was tasteless. The oysters and shrimp were warmed to room temperature. The turkey was extremely dry. It was not good at all. The only thing that saved it from being a total disaster was the friendly workers, the desserts, and the unlimited mimosas. A very expensive mistake.

    The food was superb for a Christmas buffet. A large variety of foods that suit all tastes. Only criticism was that payment was taken before we ate including a large gratuity which is normally at our discretion assuming the service was good. As it happens it was good. Would recommend this without hesitation.

    This is one of the best buffets I have sampled. Fantastic choice and replenished regularly. After the second refill of the complementary Mimosas however you had to request refills. An added service charge of 30 percent amounting to $70 was quite a shock given our party consisted of only 3 people. The setting was beautiful. The restaurant itself was chilly where we were seated and we had to put on our jackets. As the weather was cold it might be an idea to regularly check comfort levels.

    Thanksgiving brunch at Cafe Osceola was truly outstanding in every way. I have attended both Thanksgiving and Christmas brunch at Cafe Osceola for several years and it has always been outstanding. The food is to die for, but the entire experience is always highlighted by the truly wonderful customer service. It is not to be missed!

    We have been dining with you for many years -- because we loved everything! But this year our experience at Thanksgiving was down! Now Christmas was VERY disappointing! The new rearrangement by the buffet was very dis-jointed! The added booths just seemed in the way of the food areas! Decorations were not up to your standards! What happened to the fruit carvings, holiday displays etc.?? Food was still very tasty but not up to par. Service was not as professional -- from too many people milling around the entrance and table service not as detailed! Our overall opinion ---- why should we continue to pay the high price to spend our valuable holiday time at the Rosin Shingle Creek??

    Very large buffet & was hoping for a great breakfast. Had to order the omelet 3 times lightly done. I gave up on the 3rd well done (1 was burnt) omelet. Also, the cantaloupe was not edible - it was sour and past it’s point of service. I paid $50+ dollars before tip to eat a few pieces of bacon & some scrambled eggs.

    Thanksgiving at Cafe Osceola is always special. A unique abundance of food, serving everything from a traditional turkey dinner, a seafood presentation, a sushi station, omelets, a dessert table, etc. it is pricey but very special.

    The food was fantastic!! High quality and excellent variety. There were a few glitches in other areas. Valet - This was a mess. It was backed up and did not seem organized. They charge quite a bit for valet so we expected more. Elevators - The elevators were confusing. We would see them come down to our floor and then stop, and then not open. We waited for over 10 minutes until an elevator came to our floor (lobby) and actually opened their doors for us to go in. My elderly father was with us so walking down the stairs was not an option. Seating - This was good. We were lucky to have been seated in an area close to the food and restrooms. If we had been seated elsewhere, this would have been difficult. Service - Our waiter was great - very attentive. We tipped him above and beyond the included gratuity. Food - This was excellent. What a great variety. We had shrimp cocktail, prime rib, turkey, Japanese bar, pasta bar chocolate fountain bar and dessert bar. We were stuffed at the end of our meal! I wanted to go back for more but I just couldn't. Challenges: The food area is TOO SMALL. It was very cramped. Not enough plates - there should be plates at every station. Sometimes we had to hunt for plates or grab a plate from another area. Plus, the plates were very heavy. It would have been nice to have containers for the sauces such as the cocktail sauce and soy sauce instead of having to pour it on my plate. One final note: Management tried to move us from our table after we were already seated and settled. My husband was at the table while I went with my father to get food. When I came back he was visibly upset. They wanted us to move to another table so they could seat a bigger party at our table. My husband said "no". Finally, the waiter told them to let us be. This situation should NOT have happened. Overall the food was fantabulous and despite other shortcomings, we will be back again just for the food!

    The thanksgiving buffet is absolutely superb and with the unlimited champagne and mimosas and the superb quality and choice of food is fantastic value. Staff are superb and kept everything flowing nicely. As we are staying at the Rosen shingle creek we witnessed this throughout the whole afternoon. Next time we stay here in May we will try the other restaurant at the golf course. Thank you everyone involved in organising and putting on this event

    Service was best valley was a little slow but I didn’t care it was beautiful thanksgiving time with family we loved it My husband just noticed some managers running around our table at the end with watches telling our waiters and waitresses how long they been here I didn’t do it didn’t bug me but he did Everything besides my husband seeing that was perfect and we appreciate all of you working for us on a holiday Thank you

    The buffet did not disappoint, an amazing selection of different cuisines . We particularly liked the chicken and dumplings casserole . Champagne was topped up frequently. We already plan to book for the Mother’s Day buffet in May.

    the best food would have given a higher mark but not available to do so. went with 2 kids and they loved loved loved it as well we will return for sure!!!!! and we got to meet mr. rosen a rock star in his own right!!!!!
