Had the most perfect dinner Thursday. Lawrence took care of us, our service, food + bev were outstanding. Well done + thank you.
Favourite spot - the escargot and zurich veal are my top dishes
One of my favorite places in the city! The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing cocktails, excellent food and service.
Good food however overpriced and we had to wait 20 minutes in the cold for our table (we had a reservation). We placed our order as soon as we were seated but our food took forever to come out and then when we were ordering dessert they told us we had to leave within 10 minutes to honor the next reservation. It was very annoying and outweighed the fact that the food was good.
They were out of two main items that rendered several items on the menu not possible for ordering, therefore substantially shrinking the menu options.
Music was outstanding, and food was even better
Great food. Great service. Love this place
We had a birthday party of 6 people in the cozy outdoor sidewalk chalet during the beginning of the snowstorm. It's isolated just for our table so it felt safe. Felt like being in a little chalet in Switzerland. An out of town experience without the hassle of traveling.
Love their service, their food, their raclette, fondues are fun for groups, the lobster bisque is delicious, everything on the menu is outstanding!!
Seems to have gone downhill. Waiter was standoffish and rude (for no reason- we were pleasant to him and ordered wine, an app, and mains). Food was still good, but not as good as it used to be. Prices seem to have increased somewhat significantly for some items.
Chill environment, really good food and wine!
It was so loud in there we couldn’t hear each other - and more people seemed annoyed about that, too. Staff are super rude. Fondue used to be so much better a few years ago. Won’t go back again.
I was charged $6 extra to add grilled shrimp to my salad and I was given four (4) grilled shrimps. So over a dollar each which seemed kind of ridiculous.
I made a reservation for three people and asked for a Raclette table, which they didn't give us... They had bigger tables but gave us one in which we felt uncomfortable because we were packed against the table next to us. Raclette was only cheese and one potato, no charcuterie as you would get in other places, so not te experience I was hoping for.
Quite rude service since our waitress lacked simple manners and pressured us to tip her when the bill came. Great food though...
Service nul voir inexistant! On se faisait un plaisir d’y retourner en famille . Je pense que le restaurant est devenu un tiroir-caisses!!!!!
Possibly the worst service I’ve experienced in NYC. We were prepared to leave very politely with no problems when the hostess finally gave us a table that could properly seat us. Our server took 25 minutes to come to our table. It took 20 minutes to get a margarita and we were rushed out as soon as our food was finished.
The service was awful.
Don’t recall his name bald waiter was amazing
Outstanding ambiance but the food could be much better.
We booked a place at the restaurant because of a recommandation. We come from Switzerland and we thought it would be nice to discover a Swiss themed restaurant. We come often to New York and we have never gotten such a lousy service. The waiters were rude, impatient, irrespecutful and literally made us feel like we were disturbing them each time we wanted to ask a question, or order something. We just wanted it to be over. Obviously we’ll never go back, nor will we send anyone there.
Service surprised us with Prosecco to celebrate our anniversary. Very sweet
Awesome as always
Met a friend and former colleague for lunch.
Relatively quiet and easy to have a conversation.
Service was fair, attentive enough, but could be better , but not friendly, they seemed to be doing us a favor by waiting on us.
However I ordered the Croque Monsieur and it was ridiculously skimpy for $17. The bread was squat and small, and one very thin slice of ham and one of cheese. The outside was spread with the bechamel sauce ( look d more like mayo) after the sandwich was pressed, so you could not eat it as a sandwich. That’s not my beef, my issue was barely anything to eat! It tasted OK but it was a VERY POOR value. Companion had the wedge salad, looked nice, and a decent size , but again way overpriced for what it was, and the restaurant overall.
We waited for over an hour for our food. We were not provided receipts on payment with card and once we left we found out we had been over charged by $200. The staff were extremely rude when we came back to get the refund for the $200 and were unable to provide any receipts or information on what amount had been charged to which card.
The Café is super nice and if you miss Switzerland, they will make you happy with there amazing choice of traditional swiss meals.
This place is a NoLITA gem! Unpretentious and inviting, the atmosphere is warm and quaint. The food was fantastic!!! My date and I had to try each other’s dishes and they were one better than the other! The Lobster Bisque is fabulous...buttery and huge chunks of lobster. The Octopus Salad was equally good-the fennel totally makes this dish! I had the branzino and my date had this awesome veal with spatzel (spelling?) dish. All amazing. Great wine list and cocktails too! Go!!!
Great place for breakfast, lunch, cocktails. Sometimes it's a bit loud but the food is good and the atmosphere is fun.
We went there for the cheese fondue. Spent a good deal of time planning our choices around the fondue only to find out that they had stopped it the day before as they don't do it in the summer. Only wished I known upon arrival so we didn't waste so much time.
Good food, good environment, the services could be a little quicker, but overall, a good experience.
Fondue is fantastic. Love this place. Have been coming here for years.
Nice food, we had the plate and meat platter and the lobster and octopus salad that we shared, it was really good
Good food, very disinterested service. Much better on weekdays or early week evenings.
Pretty loud at night and cramped but good food, nice ambiance, and a consistent go-to. I wouldn’t travel to eat here but it’s my favorite current neighborhood place.
Cute and cozy place; mediocre food.
Great scene. Lots of beautiful young people that my parents enjoyed being surrounded by. Food is very good. A little expensive, but all in all a really fun experience. Solid recommend for a night out with friends. Veal Schnitzel is a must.
Solid food, service a little slow, decent ambiance but nothing special. Definitely a good everyday option in the neighborhood.
Always love the rosti. The rosti that came with the salmon was very salty.
The hostess was very rude. We had clearly told her to bring us non-alcoholic cheese fondue and instructed her about not having fruit, but it still came. And when we talked to her, she said “you didn’t eat it anyways”. Also even after making a mistake, she charged us, and the bill came down to 65$
Great food, good service. Tables ready tiny and very close together. Hard for a more relaxed meal. But good neighborhood place. Lobster salad is amazing.
