   This was my 3 rd lunch and I can say the food is amazing. There was one hick up this time but still a great experience. The food was cold like almost everything. We were too hungry and our server too busy to send all back to reheat but we did reheat the cream spinach which is awesome. The seafood Wellington always the best item, was lovely and chocked full of freash seafood. ! The fried shrimp the best around! Don’t miss the bread pudding , potatoes Gillette and the hush puppies! The special cocktails were both a cut above! This restaurant is off the chain yummy! We will always visit every trip in Breaux Bridge!

    We went for dinner and this was the best dinner we’ve had in the Lafayette/Breaux Bridge area. Appetizers, dinner and desserts were all incredible. Staff were very attentive and friendly. We were making plans to come back before we had finished.

    Delicious meal with great service. BUT entirely too loud! Our table couldn’t hear each other speak. It was fine once the live music stopped.

    Noisiest restaurant I’ve ever been in. Cacophony of conversational noise even drowned out the band. Good and service was great and ambiance(besides noise) was nice as well. But yelling at a dinner companion to be heard is no fun.

    We were able to easily check-in with our OpenTable reservation. We were brought to our table and our server was with us after a couple of minutes. They had a wonderful drink selection but also had mocktails and sodas. Our server, Lacey, was spectacular. I asked her about a two drink options and told her what I was looking for and she was able to steer me in a great direction (Cherub’s Cup might be the best “summer cocktail” I’ve had). Once she brought our drinks she took our appetizer order and WOW what a treat. The seafood spinach dip was honestly the best I have ever had, we also got the Breaux Bread and that dipped in was superb. As two people dining, we thought the half bread serving was HUGE! But it was incredibly delicious. We finished our appetizers and still had room for entrees. We got the shrimp platter (sub the fries with zydeco beans) and the filet 5 oz with potato galettes. I do not think we left a bite on our plates. We did not however have dessert - we saw online that they had cheesecake, but didn’t see it listed on the menu. We were too full to ask but would definitely go back for drinks and cheesecake alone. I would highly recommend this restaurant and strongly encourage making reservations as it was busy by the time we left. It was wonderful as they had a live band (three something), and you can see when they’ll have live performances on their social media - just in case you do not want to go then. Again, I can see why the servers had so many regulars, because this was a treat and I hope it stays around for a long time.

    Ambiance is great at Cafe Sydnie Mae. We brought some guests from Colorado for a good Cajun meal and they loved it. The meal took a little while to come out (which was fine because we were enjoying the music) and our waitress brought two bowls of gumbo for us to split to make up for the wait. Can’t wait to go back again.

    Celebrated a birthday and was given a preferential table and complimentary dessert. Service was outstanding, even warmly welcomed by the owners. Very representative of southern Louisiana. However, talking was a bit difficult while the music was playing, but you don’t really go there to talk. Fun!

    This is one of our favorite places for brunch. We live over an hour away and look forward to our weekend drives to Breaux Bridge. This time we took friends from Nashville who were blown away by the food and ambience. They had amazing live music on Sunday! Just can’t say enough about this place! Everyone there is wonderful!!

    I cannot put into words how great this place truly is. The food, the drinks, entertainment and people were the best. Everyone was so friendly and even the owners came by our table to check on us and introduce themselves. I highly recommend this place to anyone!! I can’t wait until we go back again!

    Very busy sat night. Took 30 min to get a drink, 90 min to get our food. Drinks and food were excellent. I’m a regular customer and this is not the norm for this restaurant. Will definitely give them another chance. Server was dancing and singing next to our table which was a little odd and annoying.
