Hosted my husbands birthday with a table of 15, and they did great! The table was set up and ready with water, chips and salsa on the table when we arrived, servers were on point and the food was great! Everyone was friendly and everyone had a lovely time. Would recommend!

Disappointed in one of my long time local favorites! I love Catina and have dined there as a patron and used their catering many times. We visited tonight and while not busy was seated in a section of 6 tables that had 2 servers. We noticed other tables seated after us being served and we had not been. After waiting and being ignored, we left. A female saw us leaving and asked us to wait indicating our table had been assigned to a sever who didn’t know it. That seemed super odd to us considering the section was not busy and already had two servers. It didn’t feel right, so we left. Not sure my beloved Cantina at this location will see my business or referrals.

The food was ok but the drinks were terrible. Ordered a margarita but it was all orange juice. When the waiter brought the margarita even she said it didn’t look right and looked like it had too much orange juice in it. Tried a Moscow mule but it was all ginger beer. We won’t be going back.

Service was slow to intermittent t. Our server basically disappeared for prolonged periods. Though certainly not our servers fault, we order a pitcher of margaritas and I must say, they were the worst I ever had. Thought we were getting a pitcher of of orange juice. That would have tasted better. But the food was okay and we sat outside and caught up with a good friend. Don’t know that we’d come back though. Too many other options.

This was my first visit to this Cantina 1511 location and I was unimpressed. The menu has a great selection of food and beverages but soon discovered some items were not available. In addition, our server completely messed up one of our two orders and then didn't return to check on us until have of the dish was eaten. My visits to the other loction was superb food and service.

Hostesses were unprofessional and distracted. Server was friendly but not well-trained. An order of guacamole was to be prepared table-side as an appetizer. Our entrees were delivered (tepid, not hot) before our appetizer. The food runner’s attitude when we asked about the guacamole was glib, at best. Our guacamole finally arrived, not prepared table-side, as advertised, but indifferently prepared in the kitchen. The server comped the guacamole, but that hardly made up for our lost conversation time over guacamole and chips. I look forward to what will fill Cantina’s space next. It’s obvious that Cantina isn’t far from closing.

Typical Mexican cantina decor. Mix of customers: teens, singles, families. Food was really good. We had fajitas, Mexican street corn, various tacos, plantains, and queso. Everything was served warm/hot and full of flavor. Not too spicy, not too bland. Great margaritas. Attentive but not obnoxious service. Fair price given quantity of food and drink.

The flank steak lacked flavor and there was not enough sauce for the Carne Azteca. We never received our extra sauce requested. We were without drinks for some time and had to ask for our waters a second time. Otherwise, we had a good experience.

It seemed understaffed because it took forever to get drinks and to order our food. When our food came we told the waiter that we needed napkins and silverware. We saw 8 setups on an adjacent, empty table and he said that we couldn’t use those because those diners would arriving soon (hello… we were just served our meals and had nothing to eat it with). So he went back to the kitchen and brought out 4 forks (only) and then gave us a stack of paper cocktail napkins. I won’t be going back.
