Capers and Lemons is consistently excellent. My family and friends eat there all the time and we've never been disappointed.

Great food good service

This was a Tuesday night birthday dinner. We have had nice dinners here, but were a bit disappointed this time around. The food was just OK and my Veal seemed like a reheated leftover.
The wait staff was not very attentive and offered nothing special for the Birthday occasion. When we declined dessert, she quickly tallied our bill and seemed rushed to get us on our way. We were one of only two tables left, and it seemed the staff was anxious to close up.

I am an avid fan of Capers & Lemons and all the Platinum Dining Group restaurants. My visit this week was the second one over a 3 week period and I brought my 85 year old father with me both times. The staff was very accommodating regarding the specific booth I wanted due to my father's age and health. We were very fortunate that Austin was our server on both occasions. She recognized us from our earlier visit and it made my Dad's evening! Austin even made sure we had our special clams again! She took outstanding care of us and as always, the meal, ambiance, and staff was exceptional! See you soon!

Menu was small

Although we were really excited for calamari appetizer, they unfortunately sold out after we placed our order. Since it was later at night on Valentine’s Day we understood and got the stuffed meatballs. They are delicious. My husband loved his Bolognese and I had the veal saltimbocca. Very delicious meal.

Food was very good. Great night with family for Valentines dinner. Wishing they had chocolate desserts other than gelato or a cookie.

They gave us a time limit since it was valentine’s day and because of covid. We arrived early. We finished dinner in a timely manner and still had an hour left. They almost tried to not let us order the cookie skillet because it takes 25 mins to bake. That still would have left us with 35 minutes. Overall the food was good but nothing special. Our waitress wasn’t great. Wouldn’t go out of my way to go here again.

The place was freezing cold and my husband enjoyed his shrimp scampi, but your "romano" crusted chicken - was not good - no taste and the cheese that was to be melted on top was cold and hard and to be serviced in a tomato cream sauce and it was lumpy red tomato paste....best part of the meal was the dessert you finally brought back.

Table was ready when we arrived & atmosphere is very cozy. If not for the draft coming through the partially opened front door, I would have rated all areas 5 stars.
Would absolutely return.

Food was delicious and the waiter offered great recommendations to which I gladly accepted. My husband and I will be back ❤️

It was a REALLY tough choice between the chicken picatta (always SO good!) and the penne pasta Bolognaise, which is the best I've enjoyed in the Wilmington area. In the end, I went with the penne Bolognaise ... because winter. :)

I had date night with my wife and the food, service and atmosphere did not disappoint.
The place complied with all COVID safeguards and made one feel welcome and safe. The service was perfect. I would recommend Capers and Lemons as a perfect romantic opportunity to get out and still be safe.

Excellent dinner!! Can’t wait to come back and try another entree. My husband had the shrimp scampi and I had the squash agnolotti. Salads were excellent also. And the Tiramisu was divine. There is a very nice wine selection and our waiter was so helpful in describing the wines so that we could choose something we liked very much.

Capers he sold me on his detailed description of their seasonal dish, which was delicious; the plate was clean , and I will be coming back for it! The wine selection was nice, we enjoyed that they had a local option. Dessert was to die for! We came for my fiancé’s birthday and we were highly impressed!

Capers and Lemons is the perfect place for a quiet dinner for two or a larger celebration like a birthday. The food is superb and the entire staff are very friendly and accommodating. If you sit at the bar you get to chat with the bartender, Anthony. Enjoy!

Dined on a wednesday night with a few friends. We were seated in a secluded area which was great for us. Our server, Rick, was outstanding! We very much enjoyed our meals and dessert as well.

The food and service were excellent. We highly recommend the truffle bread but it is hard to just eat one. Also had the Salmon and the Chicken with lemons and capers. Good Covid protocols and friendly service.

the atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable. the food is delicious. it is a very relaxing and enjoyable dining experience.

Loved our meal

The restaurant itself is a bustling place and that is quite nice we we are so confined to home these days. We enjoyed being there, but I ordered clams and linguini and it really did not settle well with me. We will go back again but I will something more mild. I have had good food there previously and my husband did enjoy his food.

We love the food at Capers and Lemons, Taverna etc. The staff is polite and professional.
