   The service was excellent there was no calamari/ pate/steaks or burgers which was very poor. Also the carbonara potion was sooo small .

   Lovely warm welcome and generally good service. The food was perfectly ok but not as good as when we eat at Carluccios in Solihull. There was too much chilli in the tomato sauce with the aranci and the also in the sauce for the spaghetti. The chicken milanese was overcooked and there seemed little rosemary or garlic on the roast poatoes.

   We booked 3-4 weeks ago as a Christmas Party for our staff. We arrived on time 6.15pm to be seated. Once we had been seated & given the menus we were informed that there were no steaks / burgers or calamari available from the menu. Which was very disappointing as we were a group that had booked weeks in advance leaving us no options to go elsewhere and also the fact you had taken our card details with a financial penalty per person for a no show. The food was then not I would say to a restaurant standard, the brocheta was dry with no dressing & the Spaghetti Carbonara was again not flavorsome. Overall most of the meals were not of a standard we were expecting from a restaurant that once had a good reputation, looking at the reviews looks like there is an issue with the steaks & burgers on other occasions.

    Food poor, service very slow . Had to ask where was ! Think we were forgotten. When food finally came had to rush eating it to get to our concert on time 😡 They did give a discount on the bill but wouldn’t go back . Very disappointed .

    The food was generally nice but there was so much unavailable - 4 things that we would have chosen we weren't able to order. We weren't told this when we were seated so it's disappointing to find out at the point of ordering that you can't have what you've chosen. Greasy fingerprints on the menu don't give a good first impression. But we were happy with what we ordered and because it was quiet, we weren't rushed out after we finished.

    Disappointingly, the service and the food was atrocious. Myself and one guest were seated but it took over twenty minutes to be approached for anyone to take our order. It was then a further twenty-five minutes before our drinks arrived; it was simply two beers so not a complicated order. Our meals (no starters had been ordered) arrived one hour and ten minutes after we had been seated. My order, a relatively simple order of Chicken Milanese was not hot, in fact barely warm, although my guest's meal was delivered hot. The only positive is that the 'side' of Focaccia bread was good. Indeed, our 'allotted table time' of ninety minutes would have been insufficient to eat our one course selected! I could not in any way recommend Carluccio's at Leeds Trinity, it was shockingly poor; eat somewhere else would be my advice.

    It was a Sunday in January so quiet as could probably be expected but seemed without ambiance. Also with only one person serving / taking orders it was a bit slow and some things were forgotten. The menu seemed to be reduced(?) and the food was average - I ordered my favourite dish and it was mostly tasteless where it is normally flavoursome (I'm in good health so not my tastebuds!). The pasta was watery and there were quite a few strands of spaghetti in the bottom of my bowl - my dish was not a spaghetti meal! The other people in our group also said their food was average and no one would be in a rush to go back - which is sad as we've had lots of lovely meals there in the past.

    I gluten free. Other diners all usual menu. Waiter was fab! Have to keep switching outside heaters which is a bit annoying. Just being picky because really everything was fabulous!!! Limited choice of gluten free pudding!

    Went for lunch with my amazing granddaughter and her boyfriend before she jets off to Australia for a year of adventures. Lunch was just lovely and the service was outstanding. The raspberry Bellinis were out of this world !

    Unfortunately the wait time for the food was unacceptable. The food quality itself was really good, however it took more than 90 minutes to arrive from ordering. As this was a lunch time I would never expect to wait that long. Although I did complain at the time, we didn’t really get an apology or a reason for the wait. Customers around us seemed to get their food fairly quickly so I don’t think this was down to anything other than a mistake in the kitchen. When we arrived we were also asked if and who was celebrating a birthday - however no further mention was made to this (not sure if they would normally make a fuss). I cannot complain about the food quality as it was very good for the price.

    So bad I have sent a complaint. Half the menu was unavailable (not an exaggeration) and food that did arrive was terrible. Definitely not worth the money. Go elsewhere.

    Booked for ladies lunch. Relatively quiet with many empty tables but put us near a table with children next to the toilets. Why? Service good especially a young man who was friendly, cheerful & professional. Food nice but was not asked during meal if everything was okay. Wine nice but expensive.

    Disappointing this time. Was there for a family celebration before Christmas. Unfortunately they had run out of a lot of the items we requested. No sirloin steak 4 days before Christmas?! Plus seafood linguine again had no mussels and squid in it so we couldn’t order this either. Seems to be some serious supply issues/stock ordering issues for this restaurant now. Never seen a manager on site who is in control of the restaurant and stock issues. Such a shame as it was previously a very good restaurant in a cracking location in the centre of Leeds.

    This restaurant is not serving what we understand to be Carluccio's food. The Prawns Marinara (Starter) comprised 4 small prawns and tomatoes stewed in chilli. There was no fennel seed, garlic or olive oil. We ate the prawns and foccacio and hoped for better with the mains, after mentioning to the server that there was chilli in the sauce. No response. When it came, the children's lasagne had chilli in the tomato sauce. My granddaughter could not eat it. The tomato sauce to accompany the children's Chicken Milanese again was spiced with chilli, and so spoilt the dish. We paid up and left. After being customers of Carluccio's for years- in Leeds, Manchester York and Harrogate we will not be going again. £107 for a bad experience.

    Booked a table at Carluccios Leeds Trinity. Waited 45mins for starters and then another 30 mins later for mains which all arrived at different times with the last plate 15 mins after the others. If understaffed to the point of not being able to serve people who have booked then others should not be given a table which slowed the service. Poor management on behalf of the manager. Food was very poor, overcooked chicken saltimbocca floating in oily sauce on old soggy fried potatoes. Sea bass was two fried scrawny pieces falling apart on a bed of halved cherry tomatoes. Thrown together with little skill or panache. The staff tried to pacify us with free garlic focaccia which we did not want. The very worst Carluccio meal we have had.

    We decided to treat ourselves to lunch out whilst Christmas shopping and chose Carluccio’s. We were disappointed that the Christmas menu wasn’t available 7 days before Christmas but selected similar food from the al la carte menu. The service was reasonable to begin with then we watched and waited and waited for our £15 odd main course … the restaurant wasn’t rammed but quite busy so we were patient. We could see the chef was working hard and was mostly hitting the bell when meals were ready to be taken out… except when our plates appeared… they sat and sat then my husband went to the cloak room and they were still sat on the pass when he returned. It must have been for at least five minutes… I was just about to ask when someone noticed them and they were served to us. The side of broccoli was lukewarm and the main just about on the right side of warm. The sautéed potatoes were undercooked. The waitress wasn’t really interested when she asked later how the meal was… I said just about okay… don’t think she even heard me and didn’t enquire further. Needless to say we didn’t leave a tip and won’t be returning. Its a shame when these small but important details are overlooked… We know Carluccio would be tutting and turning in his grave…

    Service was good, 3 main courses sold, we both chose chicken saltimbocca. Wasn’t the best, it was cooked to fast, the chicken was pink under the ham and there was way too much oil which drowned the rucola. A bit disappointed as we visit the Beverley restaurant quite often and normally have a good experience. Only 6 people in the restaurant which is located in a shopping centre

    Service non existent. Had to wait and then walk up to someone to be seated (had a reservation) whilst staff wandering past ignoring us. Once seated waited 15-20 mins to make drinks order so did food order at same time plus a table who arrived after us were given drinks before us. Food was poor quality, thought would be safe ordering lasagne but it had no flavour (no garlic or herbs)! Took nearly an hour for main courses to arrive. We had to get someone’s attention again to order more drinks when our glasses had been empty a while and no food in front of us. Luckily there was a way to pay the bill online using the QR code on the table which meant we were able to leave when we wanted to without having to get someone’s attention. The restaurant wasn’t full and had a lot of staff so not sure why service was so poor.

    Most of us chose the lunch menu, 1 friend wanted a pizza, in an Italian restaurant, pizzas are unavailable at this location 🤔 One friend wanted steak. There was no steak. Another friend wanted a side of broccoli, there was no broccoli, however, 3 stems of broccoli were on another friends salad. The food we did receive was delicious but the overall experience was disappointing.

    Ordered 3 food items only to be told didn’t have them (it was only 630pm!) and one was on the specials list! No atmosphere- at least play some Italian music to cheer people up. Waitress, Harriet was lovely and very apologetic. Toilets were disgusting, no toilet paper for hours despite telling them when first went in. Good old Harriet to the rescue. Probably wouldn’t go back. Antonio…..not good mate. ☹️

    Leeds was very busy and so was Carluccios. However the service was great and the food very tasty. We were on a tight schedule as we were going to the theatre, but the waitress did everything to make it as quick as possible. We then had some time to spare.

    We had a very poor experience, although the food was good. There was about an hour's delay between our starters and mains, arising from a problem apparently with the fryer. Our son had to leave very quickly after the main course, so we gave up at that point and asked for the bill. The first one was around double what we expected, and we rejected it, as it had included someone else's steaks. Then the replacement bill was wrong as it included someone else's coffee. There were a few other issues, our table was in the way of other diners with a pram going past, so we had to move the furniture, and the carafe of wine appeared which was white rather than the red we ordered. The waiting staff did their best but not a good experience unlike previous visits and we will probably go elsewhere next time.

    Friendly staff, quick with drinks and starters, then nearly an hour to wait for main course, was told there was an issue with the water, which was obviously out of their control, however an update would have been nice, or the offer of another drink whilst waiting - we were left alone and had to ask for a drink and also why there was a delay. Then the kitchen was so smoky we went home smelling of it. Later, we were still talking at the table when one of the staff started dragging a table and chairs across the floor, not ideal.
