Casa Tua King's Cross
You know what Italians are like. We really are passionate about homemade food like mamma used to make, good wine, great coffees and a top-notch menu deliciously and lovingly prepared by our talented Chefs, using the best ingredients from Italy. Artisanal, Passionate, Fresh, Quality, Homely are all words that form the basis of our ethos. Hand-turned pasta and splendid wines are a must, as well as the finest ingredients for everything that is created by our team. It's all hand picked by our friendly team, who makes a mean Aperol Spritz as well and much more.
Nice, friendly place for a casual meal. Charming service.
Pasta mains too small for their pricing. Quality ok. Tiramisu was excellent.
Cosy little Italian , lovely home cooked style food
Disappointing! Tables too close together and we felt very squashed-in. Two of the starters and one of the main courses did not feel like value for money. The dessert menu did not include any form of cheese plate - so sad given that there are so many lovely cheeses from Italy. When asked, the waiter said that they could not produce any form of cheese board - they only had sweet desserts. The wine was fine. I am afraid that we will not be returning.
Authentic Italian food in warm and cozy place. We'll come back! Grazie!
Lovely food, service and atmosphere.
We enjoyed our meal very much, and the service was very friendly. There is a lovely light atmosphere in this restaurant, tucked out of sight of the busy Euston Road. I chose a vegetarian option, but would be just as happy to choose one of the meat dishes on another occasion. The tiramisu was excellent. I was unavoidably delayed by a railway incident, but my friend was able to relax with her meal while waiting for me, despite our early booking.
Second time coming food was amazing but I think they overbooked we were stuck in a corner for a big table and didn't even have the standard table setting everyone else got and had garden tables and chairs disappointed would have preferred they just said they were overbooked but Welp food was nice anyway
In a good location, just a few minutes walk from the busy kings cross station. Was a packed Friday night so don’t think service was as attentive but staff were polite and friendly. Portion size, as mentioned by a few other reviewers, were on the small size - for the price you pay, did not feel like it was value for money but diddnt quite feel full after but was still a nice meal overall. Will probably come back and try the more tapas style options!
Great food and just a pleasant place to be
My fourth visit - all very good
Casa Tua is fantastic in terms of quality of food/vibe and service. I have eaten at Casa Tua many times and will continue to do so.
Exactly what we needed on a Friday night - place was cosy, food was all delicious - with the aubergine stew outstanding, lavender benilli spot on and the pasta full of great texture and flavour. Looking forward to our next visit!!!
Nice place. Small kitchen. Small portions. Very good service
Pasta portions weren’t very big and with two diet cokes it came to around £40
An excellent place to eat, lovely food and service
Love it here - it’s my absolute favourite - for all the reasons already stated above
Im not sure why I have to type at least 50 characters when all I want to say is “I liked it”.
Good food in a restaurant with a great positive atmosphere; a real buzz., served by attentive staff in a great location near the station.
First of all our reserved table was given away although I’d phoned and said we’d be later and was told that was fine not to worry. The ‘table’ we were eventually given was two bar stools with a tiny cocktail table not big enough for food as well as drinks. It’s also not exactly comfortable for two women in their 60s perching on high stools. When we complained we had to wait a while for a proper table to be free. Menu is short but very expensive and the food was so so. Chicken Milanese was tough arancini stodgy. With the house wine and only four small plates the total bill was over £80 with service included. The place looks great and I really wanted to find a cosy neighbourhood dining experience in this area but this is not it and I won’t be back.
Delightful local Italian. Good choice menu including the special of the night, all explained well by the knowledgeable staff. I was amazed at how busy it was early on an autumn Tuesday night but as we needed to eat fairly swiftly as attending a show at The Place, the staff still made that happen.
Certainly a great buzzy atmosphere too. I will hopefully return.
Group of 12 people for a business meal. Worked really well as sharing plates so everybody ate at the same time. Food was excellent and the bill was very reasonable. Very popular location, I will be back very soon. Highly recommended.
Really nice brunch with friends. Mind that the large portion serves 3 eggs.
Really great value and charming little place, a welcome relief to the chain and corporate vibe of Kings Cross.
Food was delicious and service was great! Thank you!
Delicious starters and mains
the restaurant is very beautiful
i totally recommend to go there ! hard to find such a good restaurant / ambiance in this neighborhood !
Casa Tua was as excellent as always.
Thank you Giuseppe and all who work at both Kings Cross & Camden X
Lovely homemade pasta and good value
Lovely find somewhat off the beaten track. Quality ingredients, simple dishes, great/attentive service. Had fabulous burrata starter, delicious pastas (slow cooked bolognese and real carbonara) and tasty pistachio gnocchi with chocolate and ice cream. Some may want more menu choices and/or flasher decor, but this is a little gem.
Lovely small local restaurant tucked away near Kings Cross. Staff were helpful and served hot. Great for leisurely lunch with friends
6 of us. Pasta a little too al dente for our liking - kitchen did change when requested.
Flavours could be bolder.
Service friendly but slow and disorganised.
Overall, a little disappointing as it was to celebrate a birthday as well.
This is the most amazing Italian food I have ever tasted in London. We were a large group of 10 and we ate at least one of everything on the menu. EVERYTHING is delicious!
Their food and service were great.
However, they had reserved a table near the staircase and there was a table with too many people to seat around such that when people walked to the staircase for toilet, they hit my table frequently which made me feel uncomfortable.
Excellent food and service. Service was quick and the menu was excellent. Had brunch and the location was ideal if catching a train at Kings Cross. In a nice leafy suburb off the main road and has a nice feel to the place. Will visit again
I would have given it five but the home made dessert let them down (chocolate cake that was just too dry). Starters were excellent - the Casa Tua special with the beetroot, goats cheese and hazelnuts was unique. The homemade ink quick seafood pasta also Portion sizes were just right so you didn't feel like you couldn't reach the third course. It was lively and ambient and tucked away from the usual hectic-ness of King's X. And they still seated us at our four person table when our party of three became a party of two. I'd definitely recommend it again.
Excellent food and service. A really pleasant restaurant to catch up with friends
Ottimo il cibo, forse sarebbe meglio avere personale bilingue che parli italiano con i clienti italiani. Il locale è grazioso ma piuttosto piccolo e poco curato
My friend liked the beetroot salad and the bolognese very much. I ordered the ink spaghetti but it was not as good as I’d expected.
Besides, a bigger container should be offered to put the umbrellas in on rainy days. Or it would take more than seconds to find one’s own umbrella and to pull it outside the vessel.
Casual and relaxed atmosphere, pasta and tiramisu definitely worth the trip
Good venue when we worked out the sharing menue. A bit warm but the staff opened front door for us. Food and ambience good.
