Chama Gaucha- Atlanta
Our rodízio-style menu offers an abundance of fresh vegetables, artisan salads, soup, seafood, cheeses and charcuterie on our gourmet salad and starter bar followed by hot-side dishes, pao de queijo and our endless table-side carvings of 12 cuts including Beef, Pork, Lamb and Shrimp. Chama Gaúcha is the only Atlanta Brazilian Steakhouse to serve 100% USDA Prime. Our beef is aged a minimum of 45 days, butchered in-house and then seasoned and cooked over natural lump charcoal by our Gauchos. It’s passion you can taste!
It’s was our first time there and overall everything was good. It started out a little rocky at first because we stated that it was our first time but then nothing was explained. Then another waitier came and saved the day. He was amazing!!! Extremely professional and made sure we had everything we needed. He was actually the only one that served us that night even though we were told that there would be 3 servers. He was great and made the experience awesome.
We always have a fabulous time! Great food and drinks and we all love the experience!
The lamb chops were unbelievable. Cooked just right with the perfect spices with a hint of mint. The filet was rare just the way I like it. My cigar group usual go about one Friday per month.
great place enjoyed very much really good food. one of the better places to visit in atlanta
Underwhelming seating area and salad bar but the food is good and service was good.
It was a great experience and the food was perfect. I just wish it wasn’t so pricey.
Great restaurant, the wait staff is very attentive, salad bar delicious, meat selection wounderfull !
I have been visiting Chama Gaucha few times for the past 2 years. They changed their schedule and canceled the weekday lunch special, which I was a little bit disappointed. They also canceled the prime ribs on the menu, which I'm not certain if it only happened for lunch time, but the prime ribs was their best dish and I was so looking forward to have some the other day. Overall I still like the place, just some changes that I'm not typically fond of.
First time at the restaurant and I enjoyed it
Food was delicious and service was awesome
Excellent food, incredible service! The area where we were seated was loud.
My daughter and I had a fantastic experience. The staff and food was superb!
Everything went smooth for my birthday
The Food was Totally Amazing...!
The Service was Excellent!
Food is amazing and the restaurant is very nice and elegant.
I tried the "other" competitor about a month ago and in my opinion Chama Gaucha is the winner in Brazilian Steak experience. The food was fabulous, the shrimp cocktail in the market table another plus. And the service was the winning element in my eyes. Chama Gaucha beat out the "other guys" with stellar service. So the next time our family has the urge for the Brazilian Steak experience, this will be where we go. Thanks for a great dinner and evening. See you again soon.
Very customer service, food was delicious, environment was really cool.
Always enjoy going to Chama Gaucha. The food is always excellent, and a staff that is perfection. I always go out of my way to only get a very light salad so that I can enjoy my top choices of meat, which are lamb chops, and the top sirloin. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves to eat and eat and eat.
I love Chama , such an experience every time I go there. I love watching other people react who never have been before . Definitely a great date spot/ birthday spot / lol I’ve done both occasions with Chama . Love it
Great service and excellent food. Everything and everyone was very nice.
It was ok. I wish the salad bar and sides had better quality.
The best dinner experience ever i truly loved the food and staff I will definitely be back.
As always, delicious!!
The service was great! The only reason why I would recommend going is that it is an experience. The salad bar was good. I didn't like the "fast" pace of eating, however I realize they were trying to get the meat to you while it was still hot. What I didn't care for was the paper thin slices of meat they gave you. I realized that what I like about eating a steak is the actual chewing of a thicker piece of meat releasing the juices in my mouth. This just didn't happen here. The only "chunk" of meat was the garlic infused sirloin which I loved. The shrimp lacked flavor. The other bacon wrapped meats, steak and chicken weren't all that special. I didn't detect any wood flavor at all on any of the meats. The restaurant itself, very blah in it's decor. Nothing special here except the prices of the meal. I realized how great their concept is as I am sure there are very few people that get $53 worth of food in one sitting. I'll stick with my local steakhouse where a delicious, wood fired flavored rib-eye or prime rib plate is under $25. Again, the service was great!
I would only recommend to a meat lover. I am not a meat lover I am a side lover and I was not impressed to see a plantain as a side and my meal for two with two drinks totaling 140$. The mashed potatoes were the best side but not the best mashed potatoes I’ve had. Honestly the salad bar is people with very distinct intricate pallets. If you not a meat love with an intricate pallet then this is not the place for you. HOWEVER!!! I was a vegetarian until the age of 17 and the meat here is beyond imagine. So much flavor and taste in every bite. I don’t enjoy meat per day but the meat here is absolutely savory and delectable. Would recommend this restaurant for any meat lover!
Once again another amazing dinner at Chama Gaucha. It has been a couple of months since we had been and decided to take a couple of friends there for the first time. As usual we all left with smiles on our faces. Everything was perfect and our friends could not stop talking about how good everything was. They complimented me on my choice for dinner and said they can't wait to come back. Thanks Chama Gaucha for knocking it out of the park every time we are there.
Service and the food is always superior! Pricey but well worth it!t
Great quality, tasty meats and a too good to miss salad cart. We were recommended to go way on the salad cart to ensure enough space for the meat but it was such an awesome variety of salads including king prawns, smoked salmon and support tasty honey roasted brussels. YUM! Was very glad I hadn't eaten all day 🤤
Very good value for money and attentive, friendly service. would absolutely go again.
Everything was good at the beginning however the waiters started slacking up towards the end. I notice that some some choice meats was brought out on limited basis. It's a bit pricey though. Great experience.
Great food great experience. Slightly pricey but definitely worth it!
Wonderful place however host is not friendly at all.
Usually this is a 5 star restaurant but tonight everything was off. Food was not great tonight like it usually is. Meat was for the most part over cooked, dry and not flavorful, the fried bananas were terrible, these are usually one of our favorite foods almost desert like but again tonight they were just plain bad. Salad bar was up to par but was missing stuff like the bread.
What really brought the rating down was the service tonight. I made reservations over a month in advance and advised them that is was my son’s 14th birthday. During the night I saw one other person have a birthday and received some sort of desert and got the usual embarrassing happy birthday song sung to them. This is my son’s favorite restaurant and I was disappointed that with advanced warning he got no such treatment. No singing no birthday cupcake or whatever Chama Goucha usually does. I bought him a desert so he wouldn’t feel bad. Very disappointed with the service. There were 5 of us and the bill was well over $300. This is the first time we have had a bad experience at Chama Goucha I am sure will will eventually go back but I think next time we’ll try Fogo to do a comparison.
It was great! We had a great anniversary celebration. They were very attentive to our every need. Food was outstanding. They finished it off with a dessert dish with HAPPY ANNIVERSARY on it. It was beautiful and tasty!
Food was great, service was awesome. If you have not experience this restaurant and enjoy a Brazilian Steakhouse this is the place you want to be at.
The reservation was made for a birthday. I was a little disappointed that the restaurant didn’t acknowledge this at all. So as far as going for a special occasion they don’t make it anything special. The food was excellent and I would go back to eat there. I would advise going earlier as the busier it is the harder it is to get the gauchos attention to get a meat your waiting for. They do ask before the check if there was anything you wanted but by then we were so full. Overall it was a good experience and the food was fantastic.
We are frequent Fogo diners & finally tried Chama Gaucha. Taste was the same but I must say I hate cold food & the fact that the food was always fresh & extra hot was a huge plus for me!! The other thing I loved was the fact that our table was always serviced. We weren’t overlooked, passed up & were just always attended to without having to sit there waiting to flag someone down. Will definitely try the one in my hometown now!
Everything was set up for my reservation. My party had a great time.
The food and service was excellent! We plan on returning for the next special occasion!
If you go try not on a holiday weekend. It’s not great service. My table was skipped over several times, we had to go ask for food!!! WTH!
