Char Bar 7 in Greensboro serves burgers, steaks and cocktails with an emphasis on comfort food. There are a number of wide-screen TVs around the bar and restaurant to catch the game. It's part of a mini-chain of upscale sports bars in the area. Starters at Char Bar 7 include fried pickles, chili, buffalo chicken dip, blackened chicken nachos and chicken fingers. Get salads such as Caesar, grilled shrimp, salmon or sirloin salad. You can build your own salads there with many types of meats, cheeses, veggies, dressing, nuts and fruits. Steaks are char-broiled, and you can get a full range of burgers and sandwiches as well as entrées like mahi mahi, pork ribs and fish & chips. Char Bar 7 has a kid's menu, too, at this family friendly spot. Cocktails are well-prepared and the mojito is recommended.

Always a good experience at Char Bar 7 in Matthews. Good, efficient service, great menu, delicious simple food and drink, and good bar atmosphere. Lots of TVs with sports. Friendly staff.

My wife and I met a friend there for lunch. Our friend recommended. We were not disappointed. Two had salads. They were HUGE. I had the waffle and buffalo chicken sandwich. Their special for of the day. It was good not too spicy. The waffles were fluffy and spot on For drinks we had a Pinot noir, a cab and a margarita. Our server was very attentive and said it was her second day. That surprised me. I recommend.

Good selection of menu items for lunch. Excellent service provided by Summer (thanks!) Nachos app was huge - big enough to split by 4.

There for lunch on Sunday. Seemed to be short of staff. Messed up handling my reservation. Food and service good. Great salads!

Met two siblings from out of town. Had a wonderful meal, then visited a couple of hours. Staff was wonderful and courteous, sprained we were just sitting and visiting after the meal
