Wonderful eating experience! Very good outdoor setup that made you feel safe during COVID.

Charlie was a sinner continues to be a favorite of mine for exceptional vegan cuisine and outstanding cocktails. We have visited several times before the pandemic and were completely smitten with the outdoor seating arrangement that they crafted to allow for safe dining this winter. Our little table, chandelier, and rug made our booth cozy but there was still room for air flow. Our drinks were fantastic and the food was delicious. It was the closest we felt to “normal” in some time, while still feeling like the server and my partner and I were safe. We plan to visit again.

Charlie's has done an amazing job with the pandemic. I felt totally safe and as comfortable eating there as before the pandemic. Can't wait to go back!!

It was pretty busy for a Monday night due to the holiday, so service was a little bit slow but nothing to really complain about. The outdoor cabanas are pretty great, they offer protection from the elements as well as other diners. They're not very warm at all, but hey, it's a plywood shed on the street! The HVAC system they've got is definitely more sophisticated than any other outdoor dining I've seen so far. Food was good, highlights for us were the korean tofu and the gnocchi.

Despite it being in the middle of a pandemic and freezing outside, our date night to celebrate my husband’s birthday, was absolutely wonderful!

The food was delicious, the cocktails perfect, the wait staff attentive and lovely.

Everything was perfect! The chalet made our dining experience very comfortable. The food and the drinks were absolutely delicious. The staff was wonderful. Highly recommend!!!

Incredible experience. I loved that the cocktails come with a custom embroidered blanket. Great value for the price. Not only do you get a blanket with your cocktail, but the portion of the cocktail is hefty. It’s like you get 2 cocktails and a blanket really. It was so cozy and delicious.

Other than having to eat outdoors, our evening was a great success! But even outdoor, our service was wonderful and the drinks marvelous!

I went there after reading lot of positive reviews, however, my experience was pretty much bad. Food was not that good, portion was not satisfactory and too small and it was pricey for no reasons. We ended up ordering 7 entree between 4 people and one drink per person and overall it was $50 per person. In the end , we were still hungry. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I guess forget about the taste of food, at least portion of entree should be good enough so that we do not need to order 7-8 entrees between 4 people.

Atmosphere could not be better - they have A great set up with these wonderful warm cocktails and they give you a blanket and they even have lava seats to keep you warm! The food is vegan and is delicious but we had to order a lot for three people to fill us because it is small plates serving Plates and food come out at all different times so you have to like the tapas style serving!

The food was fantastic and the seat warmers really make for a pleasurable outdoor dining experience.

I've been here once before and loved it. This time I went to celebrate for my birthday and was thoroughly disappointed. We waited 15 minutes to be seated and didn't see our waitress until 15 minutes after that. The potato croquettes and beyond beef sliders were pretty good, but the main dishes we had were very bland and small for the price.

Great experience overall, they are doing great keeping up the quality of food and making the outdoor dining experience pleasant and warm given the new guidelines on dining in Philadelphia. Our waitress was not great, which is not the norm for Charlie’s but she may have been having a bad day. Still love this place and will be back.

We got there early and were the only ones. Our waiter was super friendly and has good recommendations. Very good considering we didn’t realize it was vegan!!

Always a great experience!

We celebrated our 1 year anniversary here and they made it really special. All the food was great, except the ramen was underwhelming. The outdoor seating was awesome and their hot drinks come with a cute Charlie Was a Sinner blanket for you to bring home!

Celebrating my birthday - food was amazing as always! Zucchini crab cake sliders are a MUST. Korean tofu was delicious, meatballs with broccoli rabe are amaaaazing! Server was super friendly guy, wish I could remember his name! Brown hair lol he was great!

Will always be one of my all time favorite restaurants in Pennsylvania!!

Stan, our server was amazing! We trusted him to choose our food and drink due to being first time customers. In these crazy times, this establishment was very attentive to our comfort providing warming cushions, heat lamps & blankets. So, dress in layers, keep an open mind and get out and support our restaurants.

The heaters and warm-up menu making dining out fun in the winter during COVID-19. We enjoyed the sliders, the ban mi, the brussels sprouts, and more.

Food was great. They do the best they can for ambiance. Thanks for a good meal

Saw on their Instagram that they had a heat warmer but they did not have them out when I ate!

Bonus. You get a warm blanket when you order a $24.00 warm drink off the menu. It was worth the money. Spiked hot chocolate was absolutely delicious.

Shroom soup and Mac and cheese are a must and keep you warm. I will be back but when I can sit inside. No food complaints. Food came out hot and fast!

Amazing, creative vegan food and I’m not even vegan! It was worth traveling from NJ & sitting outside in the cold to eat their food. I highly recommend!

Awesome “ warm drink” menu. I had the soul collector. Came in a thermos and for the price I got two drinks and a blanket to keep. Food was delicious as always.

Fantastic experience! Our server was professional and considerate, the food was fresh and delicious, and the outside accommodations are the best the restaurant can provide considering the environment in the city. I highly recommend the avocado toast!

I would not go super hungry. Small portions. Food was good, not wow.
