Crunchy Chinese Salad
almonds, ramen noodles, mandarin oranges, cabbage, honey sesame vinaigrette
Great experience overall.
Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. I wish I would have taken pictures but the salmon was awesome and the sautéed broccoli was yummy. We also ordered the calamari as an appetizer and the sauces definitely were a hit. Would definitely come back again the next time I visit DC!
It is a good neighborhood restaurant. We enjoyed the outdoor seating.
Mushroom Ravioli was very good. My wife ordered the “healthy” serving swordfish and received a reasonable fish portion accompanied by half a plate of broccoli.
We ended up taking out because one of our party was under the weather, and the food was ready, delicious and professionally packaged.
Great food, great service
Great service, very friendly. Food was timely, perfect temperature and flavor! The Rosé sangria was amazing and the French toast was delicious! I look forward to visiting again.
Great food and location.
The swordfish was wonderful
As always Server Nelson was great!!!
The service was indifferent, to be kind. They seemed more annoyed at the clientele than anything else. For example, I asked for a dinner plate and they brought an appetizer plate. I needed a dinner plate because I was splitting a salad. What I received was an eye roll - and eventually - a dinner plate. Another table asked for the menu four times. As I think if it, we waited 15 minutes for menus. They (staff) need to figure out if they want customers who they seem to perceive to be an inconvenience in their work lives. The food was above average. The pizza was yummy as was the salad.
We had outdoor reservation.
A woman sprayed bug spray and we were downwind.
ALL of our food (appetizers and main courses) came out at once.
Our meal was DEET flavored.
Two bean burgers were undercooked
Our table could not contain all the plates.
Geoff’s crew did nothing extraordinary to remedy.
“By far the worst OT meal I have ever eaten” -Spouse
Great service, always. Been coming since it was Cafe Deluxe years ago. They treat my kids like it’s home!
I had the swordfish sandwich and my partner had the scallops with corn risotto. Both were delicious but the wings were shockingly the highlight of the night (especially since we expected them to just be a normal appetizer). Drinks were all very affordable, not the $16 I’ve come to expect. Great deal all around. Play it helps that the food was great!
We visit different restaurants monthly and this one is on of our favorites.
It was a good experience. The outside seating on this mildly windy night was perfect. There was a homeless guy in a wheelchair asking the restaurants patrons for money. They need to fix that. Also the service could have been better. We had to ask another server to go get our waitress more than once. The food was good but those 2 things dampened the experience that could have been great.
Loved the food. Loved the service. Diego was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations.
Good service albeit a bit slow. Food was good. I may be a bit sensitized of this because of where I work and what I do, but allowing more people than a booth was designed to hold spell out into the Ioway to the point they kept bumping up against us should not have been allowed. There was no social distancing at that point and guest don’t respect the DC mask rule. Also, it was not enforced.
Excellent service and great food!!
Great experience! We did dessert and drinks. The dessert menu is small but the few options they did have were great.
We loved everything and our server, James, was knowledgeable and made great recommendations.
Clearly they were short staffed as result of Covid. Food was just so-so. Nothing outstanding. Not sure it’s worth a second try.
Despite an issue with an outdoor table not being ready for our reservation, the manager quickly made it right and the service throughout was excellent!
Great brunch and wings solid as was hangover burger, mushroom truffle frittata. Watermelon and Tito and the day was set. Highly recommend.
Our server Jacobo, V and the young man he was training were fantastic! Food was delicious!
Moved my daughter into GW and it was a very good way the end the day. Food and wine were excellent. Looking forward to many returns over the next 4 yests
Service was amazing. The burger ordered medium well was burned and charred.
Great food and service. We were here to move in a college student and we wanted a place not too close to the campus. We made a reservation (and there was a variety of available times).
This summer we have experienced a lot of poor dining experiences because of labor shortages. This is not the case at Chef Geoff’s.
The food was amazing! The salmon was fresh and cooked perfectly. The scallops were so fresh and went well with the corn risotto. The burrata appetizer is delicious and the strawberry watermelon gazpacho tasted great. The service was amazing, the waiter is so nice. I can’t wait until I come back again!
Excellent service and great food! I would highly recommend it to my friends and anyone new to the Georgetown area
Super fun bat tender…. Great revisit! The cauliflower app was amazing!
We had a rude waitress who was not able to properly explain their Restaurant Week offering. The food was just ok - the steak in particular was really lacking - and we had surprise upcharges for every diner in our party. We would have been much happier just ordering a main dish and skipping all the rest and getting a much better value.
But, even with that, we all found the food underwhelming and very basic. The steak, as mentioned above, wasn’t great. It was very nervy cut, which I’ve never experienced for a NY Strip in a restaurant. It tasted more like an airplane steak.
Too bad. Really soured our first night visiting DC.
We enjoyed a delicious brunch with an amazing deal thanks to restaurant week — we got three courses for the price of an entree! everything was so good, we loved the calamari, chicken wings, avocado toast, & shrimp + grits most of all. our server was friendly and did a great job. this is a delicious spot!
Spent 2.5 hours sitting there with mostly empty plates just waiting for our food and inevitable check. Food was okay, nothing amazing. I probably wouldn’t go back intentionally.
Great food and price bu
Excellent service and delicious entrees. Visited with a party of five and we all enjoyed our meals. Highly recommend the sea scallops over corn risotto, chicken sandwich and the salmon.
Great date for restaurant week!
Great food and a good deal for restaurant week!
Good prices, beautiful space, really nice bartending Van!
Went here for lunch during restaurant week - the food was great, but the service was very slow. From start to finish, our experience was 2 hours. Would recommend only if you have a lot of time to kill.
