Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. Busy and popular spot. Sat lounge side this time. Nice cocktail menu with bartenders who know how to make a drink. Was a big beef night for our table, Prime Rib, Rib Eye, sirloin, and house salad with steak. All very nice. Portions are decent but not big--side dishes are moderate and salad appetizer on the small side. But all were good quality and tasty. Ambiance of the place is that it is a hustling and popular venue.

We wanted a nice but also had to be done on time to get to our show. The waiter was very attentive. The food was great. The prices are high but they are everywhere. We had a nice meal in lots of time to get to our show. It added to a nice evening

Had a very disappointing visit this time around. We were there celebrating my birthday. Wasn’t too busy on a Monday evening, which was nice so we started with a picture of red sangria which was we ordered Winnipeg Ryebread with whipped brown butter and I’ll heat tuna Taki as an appetizer both were delicious, top sirloin steak with lobster tail and mashed potatoes double stuffed and my order was top sirloin with crab Bernese on the side and lobster mac & cheese. My friends order arrived. The potatoes were ice cold so they returned and were replaced with warmed up ones which were probably microwaved because it was too fast. My order came ice cold sauce steak and vegetables were ice cold seem to be sitting there a while while my lobster mac & cheese was hot my friend eat her meal since it would take a while I presume and then my order came out wrong vegetables steak was incorrectly cooked. It was medium rare to rare where I asked for medium well and there was hardly any crab on it. I complain to the waitress and I gave up. I didn’t want to try a third time with my meal, where my friend was almost finished her meal, I asked for the bill because I was frustrated and mad and I just wanted to eat so we took our bill paid and we left. I ended up going across the street to firehouse Subway to eat something because I was famished disappointing and I would like for Trenton to give me a call and reach out to me who is the general manager unfortunately he was not there that evening, thank you

The meal we had this evening was delicious! The atmosphere was great! Our server was fantastic! I had the Steak Oscar cooked medium rare and it was delicious! It was cooked to perfection! My partner had the steak and shrimp and it was equally delicious! The sides or mashed potatoes and grilled season vegetables were well seasoned and tender. For dessert we shared a crème brûlée which was decadent! We will be going back again!

I’ve been to a chop in a different city and the attention from staff was better there. The food was excellent but I did not feel the staff were aiming to make our experience exceptional.

CHOP Steakhouse gets full marks for everything! In particular we were very impressed with the level of vegan/plant based options that were offered. Given that this is a "Steakhouse", one would almost assume that there would be very scant or limited options. Now, there weren't tons, but there were I think maybe 4 options to choose from which is amazing for a Steakhouse. My husband loved the avocado bowl with miso tofu. He said it was very tasty! I very much enjoyed the roasted chicken with rice pilaf and my son loved his 7oz steak. I would choose CHOP Steakhouse over The Keg at this point for food quality, variety of options for dietary restrictions, as well as the ambiance of it being quieter. The use of sound dampening materials is very much appreciated. Thanks so much for a great meal and experience! We will be back!
