    Always 10/10 when we dine here. Best sushi in the city if you ask me, best service as well. No need to go anywhere else. This place is a hidden gem tucked away, but so so worth it.

    Best experience ever! The service here is wonderful, the staff is extremely friendly, warm and inviting. The fish is so fresh and delicious, ambiance is super cute and hip!! Would definitely recommend!

    What PHENOMENAL sushi! I took my mom for her birthday and we both really enjoyed our experience. Delicious, fresh fish with incredible depth of flavor & texture to the sushi rolls. I am gluten free which sometimes feels like you’re missing out, but they prepared everything gluten free and we were both very impressed. Nothing was lacking or sub-par. The service was friendly and helpful. The only thing that could’ve been improved was they were mopping floors while we ate. I will recommend them to everyone & can’t wait to come back!

    Overall great experience: food was delicious, menu was appealing, service was great. The only tie off was that the floor was being mopped when we arrived at 7pm (and maybe there was a spilll?) so we were pinned to the hostess stand while several staff milled around without any immediate acknowledgement we were there, had a reservation, etc.

    Came here with some friends on a day trip we booked to see the salt flats! The servers were outstanding. Although they were out of certain items, they made sure we had an amazing time. They recommended us a few items. We all enjoyed it! Their sake toro was our absolute favorite.

    We dine here all the time as a family, excellent place for sushi. Super nice wait-staff and management. Ambience is a little less great, kind of cramped and not in the best area, but comfortable for the most part. We love the dragon balls, pop-pop, and tempura apps. They have an awesome smoked sushi box as well, tasty and a fun presentation. The sushi is where they shine, though—constantly changing selection of off-menu offerings, always high quality, and some very unusual. My son and I always get the omakase, which is a solid value for the quality/variety of what you get. Really love this place, highly recommended for a casual night out.

    Oh my heck! We went for my daughters birthday. Everything was over the top. One roll came out in a wooden box smoking when they opened it.

    Love this place. I drive 40 minutes just to get here. The sushi is amazing, the service is always fantastic. Cha, our server is super nice and attentive. The owner is constantly checking in on the tables. It’s a great experience with a personal touch. The Chopfuku tatare is among my favorite dishes ever. Ill be back again next week.

    I took my parents, my in-laws and step children to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were a large party and the staff was incredible and never made us feel like a burden. They were quick to respond to any of our questions and quick to respond to our requests. Also, we weren't forced to tip because we were a party of 13. We did, but it was our choice not a requirement from the restaurant. I would definitely go back, especially with a large party.

    really fantastic sushi. Visited Salt Lake City. Had read reviews of the restaurant and went and tried it. It was really really good. The fish was fresh and the service was great. Definitely agree that it is one of the best sushi bars in the city.

    Thanks for a great meal, Chopfuku! The fish was very fresh and the sauces used in the rolls weren’t too heavy like it is at some sushi places. I love the ambience of the restaurant and the staff was very friendly.

    Love Chop Fuku always a hit. Food was great and so was the service. I wish they still sold their Saigon Rib Fried Rice though

    Overall a 10/10 experience. My bf and I got the Diamond Tasting which is a 10 course meal. The dessert is part of the 10 course meal btw. I made a reservation on OpenTable and stated that we were celebrating a birthday, and at the end of our meal, the waitress came with a plate of tempura ice cream for my bf’s birthday. We loved the service and the food was amazing. We would definitely recommend to our friends and come back again!

    My husband and I had a great date night at Chopfuku. The food and wine were delicious. I love the ambience with the hanging flowers and it is clean. The reason I gave 4 stars is because I felt a bit like they were trying to turn our table. Our server didn’t check on us and we ended up adding more to our order from a different server. That said I will go back and I would recommend to others.

    Food was good. But on Valentine’s Day we were asked to warp up and leave the table by 1 hour 15 minutes right before we got seated. We left before that but I must say it Completely ruined our Valentine’s Day dinner. This was the first time in Utah we were ever given a timeline to finish food and leave the restaurant by a certain time. Don’t go there on special occasion.

    Amazing hidden gem. Almost don’t want to write a review because we want it to ourselves! But Chef Ty and his crew are incredible, my family thinks it’s the best sushi in the state of Utah!

    Saw this was in Taylorsville which is not where I expected to find good quality sea food or sushi but after reading the reviews I gave it a try and glad i did. Great sushi, reasonable prices. I liked that they had less common fish choices too like Cod and Red Snapper. Really great selection. Will be back for sure.

    Attentive staff. They saw us walk in with birthday gifts and asked if it was a birthday then brought dessert without us having to bring it up. We were very impressed. The food was delicious as always and they played great music!!

    As we walked up to the place we got a little taken back as there was old tape residue on the front doors and a worn sheet of paper stuck to the door with tape. You could see supplies through one of the windows. As we entered it didn’t look like the place we expected that was recommended to us by a friend BUT the people were great and the food was amazing. Probably the best sushi place I e been to. There presentation was beautiful and all around it was a really good place to eat! Will be going again!

    The sushi was amazing, the servers were very attentive! We had two water jugs at our table so we could serve ourselves. The rolls were so good, all of them. We had no complaints.
