Great atmosphere. Very quiet. Great waiter who was very knowledgeable. Food was perfect. The only complaint I have is that the food came out too quickly.

I can see why people come here because the ambiance and drinks were phenomenal. However, the food lacked seasoning and our server was slow and seemed distracted.

Citron was fantastic and Sandra was a delightful server. The outdoor deck overlooking Quarry Lake was glorious. The food was divine and the cocktails were perfection. I will be dining at Citron again.
The flavors were put together perfectly and the waiters and servers were so accommodating and friendly.
Food was average; I agree with those who say it is over priced; service was spectacular, ask for Valaria. They set us on the side overlooking the quarry it was enclosed and because of the weather, they had the heaters on. The temperature was perfect, 30 minutes in and the manager walked in and turned off the heat. Made some excuse about it being to hot (mind you, we were the only two people eating in in this space at the time) and that he would be back later to turn the heat back on. I said I want to eat inside if he was going to leave the heat off, he said he would come back in about 5 minutes and turn it back on. He must have know, that I was not happy and one of the waiters came back in and turned the heat back on. Also, I do not like restaurants where 20% gratuity is included with the check. For the kind of money that they charged, you are better off going to a four or five star restaurant where you will definitely get more for your money and you have the option of tipping according to your personal experience.
The food was outstanding and came very quick. The waiter was very genuine and kind. The owner even comes around to your table to make sure everything is going well. It was a great first experience and we will definitely go back.
Perhaps being around for almost four decades has removed me from a sparkling clear view of current culture and society, but I find spending over $200 for a good (but not great) meal for two beyond my comfort level. The host is caring and delightfully friendly. The food is very good, and if you can afford it without any negitive reflection or guilt - enjoy!
The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Our waitress was super sweet. Little pricey, more of a special occasion than a casual dine but it was worth it.

Wonderful setting on the quarry lake. Super nice staff and owner. While it’s a bit pricey, the food was excellent. The Ahi Tuna Tartare was delicious with fresh tuna bits over guacamole with black sesame seeds, thin cucumber slices, and baked tortilla crisps. The garlic salt on the perfectly cooked medium rare filet mignon made it so good that I can still taste it. The rest of the menu looked fantastic as well, but we couldn’t try it all. A great meal and a top restaurant!
This place is amazing; I love it!! The location is great and parking is accessible. Adequate space between tables and the view was awesome!!!
We went to Citron for our first wedding anniversary and were fortunate to sit beside the lake while we dined. Great service from the entire restaurant and the food was fantastic. Wish we could've ordered everything twice!
The bar area was very rowdy. I didnt expect this type of energy for this ambiance. There was even a full blown physical altercation between a staff member and a patron. This was disappointing in that I actually came here to impress someone to seal a business deal. Not appropriate at all.

Citron was such an amazing experience. I dined alone and was able to really take in the atmosphere. My server Valeria was absolutely amazing! She really sealed the deal on the whole night. The food was delicious, nice portions. It was truly an experience.
Not worth the money , all the food was bland
The food was delicious and the wait time for our meal was minimal. Went for the first time for my birthday so I loved the complimentary chocolate tart and fresh flowers on the tables. My husband said his lamb chop was cooked to perfection. We will definitely go again!
We eat at Citron as often as possible when we’re in the Baltimore area. A friend took us there last year and its now our “go to” place to eat whether it’s just the 2 of us or when dining out with friends and especially when entertaining clients. Charles has made us feel so welcome and the staff is so professional and the food is excellent. We’ve had some fabulous wines and Charles is knowledgeable and always willing ton make suggestions.
We were disappointed with our experience. Our reservation was for 8 pm and we were not seated until
8:35 pm. This was on Mother’s Day so I understand that they were busy but 35 minutes wait is too long when you have a reservation. Our waiter told us that they are out on about 4 meals. Of course that was disappointing because now we were very limited on what we could order. My son ordered kids meal with French fries but got mash potatoes without anyone checking with us if that was ok. When I let our waiter know that we ordered French fries he just said that they are out. I apology it was like “ohh well”. This should have been communicated with us before they brought our food! Then we wanted to order dessert but again they were out on most desserts and we were left only with two choices. When I made the reservation I did let them know that this was for special birthday and Mother’s Day but nobody bothered to wish happy birthday or happy Mother’s Day. We were so looking forward to a wonderful upscale experience but it was nothing special.
Went on Mother's Day and expected to have a delay, but the waiter wasn't attentive and didn't bring items as requested.
Good food, but it’s overpriced. And the service was horrible. If I spend over $300 for a meal, I expect top-notch service. And that’s not what I got. Server was nice, but basically forgot about our table, and kept forgetting to bring items out to us. My dessert got delivered to the wrong table.
And to top it all off, since it was Mother’s Day, they assessed an automatic 20 percent gratuity. I normally tip well (always over 20 percent) without being forced to. But the experience was so bad that I wish I could have tipped less.
I was really disappointed in my experience here. I drove nearly 40 minutes to get to the restaurant, and the service was awful. Next time I want some expensive steak and potatoes, I’ll just go to Ruth’s Chris. At least the portion sizes and the service justify the price tag there.
My wife and I celebrated her Bday, the service was wonderful and the food was great.

Citron is fabulous on every possible level--it is really up there with the Wolf Foreman cluster of restaurants. The service is impeccable and includes elements not typically found in Baltimore, such as attention to special requests and the proper silverware (sounds silly, but I do need a new fork for my dessert!). I have no idea how they keep the food so fresh given the high number of customers, but it is--the seafood is out of this world (I had the sea bass, my friend the scallops, and we shared a tuna tartare) and the steak was perfection (obviously they cut it on site). However: the prices are astoundingly high. They were also inflated from the online menu for Mother's Day. I'm not sure these price levels can be sustained--I know I can't return for this reason.
Lovely Mother's Day lunch/brunch. Food was good, plated beautifully. Wait staff, Tiffany, very attentive.
That said, wine menu very over-priced. $300.00 for 2 (inexpensive) bottles, 2 entrees, 2 appetizers and 2 desserts.

For a upscale restaurant, and over priced food. I was very disappointed. Also for a restaurant of that caliber, shouldn’t have a 20% gratuity excluded. I won’t be returning.
