A great Thanksgiving Day meal -- without turkey! Great ambiance and great food. We loved the Puerto Rican turnovers, the beef dumplings, the salmon, and the pork loin special. But most of all our server, Alex, was AMAZING!

Horrible experience from beginning to end. 1. We had to be buzzed in the front door from the street (weird). 2. We sat inside initially but the whole restaurant was frigid so we moved out by the pool. 3. The appetizer came out before the drinks. 4. The octopus appetizer was $28 for one chewy tentacle served with some flavorless, cold pickled squash. 5. The quesadilla appetizer tasted like a McDonalds McGriddle or cheap pancakes because it had a sweet sauce drizzled over it. We couldn’t even eat the quesadilla. When the server asked how everything tasted, we told him the quesadilla was not edible. He just asked us if we wanted a To-Go box and charged us for it anyway. 6. The risotto served with the salmon was over-cooked and the cheese flavor overpowered the fish. 7. I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday when we made the reservation, but this detail was totally ignored. We didn’t expect a free dessert or anything; just a simple “Happy Birthday” from one staff member would have been nice.

I personally want not a fan of their chicken and waffles; however, I would come back for their bottomless mimosas. Our waitress was kind and kept the juices flowing. If I return I’d order something else.

I am a regular customer of the restaurant and usually the experience has been very good, except last night. I invited a good friend who was on vacation for dinner and wanted him to try the restaurant's cuisine. At first the waiter was very courteous and then he forgot about us the whole night. Other waiters had to take the order. The appetizers took longer than usual, the main course arrived cold. I think I’ll give them a break and consider other options
