Great eclectic designed restaurant. Engaging staff and different and excellent menu choices. Great martinis including my favorite Rye Manhattan. Highly recommend for a date or a special occasion.
I hadn’t been to Continental in years! Happy to be back. It was really a perfect evening. Great food ( loved my tuna tartar) and my son loved his steak. The side of Brussels sprouts was sooooo good. The booth was very comfortable and service was attentive without being annoying:)
Overall great for brunch. Our server missed some opportunities to ask if we wanted another drink and seemed to be rushing us from the table to finish existing drinks.
Our food was good and served hot. Nothing special, but not bad, either. Service was a bit slow, but generally okay.
We will not be returning. The noise level was intolerable. It was impossible to have a normal conversation at our table. Very uncomfortable.
What a fabulous night at the Continental. Everything from the ambiance, to the delicious food, to the service was top notch. Shout out to Joe and Caitlin for making our evening and first time at the Continental a memorable one. Thanks!
Just decided to try third place for dinner, had been fir brunch in the past. We both had nice mixed cocktails, one a rye, lemon, vermouth mix the other a vodka drink. Then followed by Udon noodle soup for me and chicken noodle for my wife. I liked my Udon more than she liked the chicken soup. The she had tikki masala and loved it. I had the unique cheesesteak egg roll, deliciously seasoned and spicy. No room for dessert, sat in the baskets that surround the upper level, very comfortable and nice views.
Food was good considering I was an out of town person and have not experienced much with other Philly restaurants.
Excellent menu, service and fun sharing food entrees
good atmosphere, good food, quick service, i would recommend this location
I went there and they said that I never reserved when I did and showed them the screenshot of my confirmation so I just waited.
Great variety of food options for a large group and lovely ambiance/decor. Our waitress (Insaf) was excellent with the food recommendations/explanation and very accommodating for our large group's billing needs! Thanks!
Great environment. Service was very good. Food was outstanding. A bit pricey.
The food is fine dining and diner food meeting and it’s delicious! If you go here, you must try the French onion soup dumplings, they’re amazing!!
We enjoyed ourselves because of the atmosphere and we had a window seat. The menu choices were a bit anemic but the service was good. Table was dirty when we were seated. Yucky.
So yummy!! Food was fantastic! I enjoyed the atmosphere.
Waitress was super nice and flexible. Even brought out sorbet for my birthday! Food was fantastic as always.
Great experience, fast service, great food!
I had my first Cosmopolitan many, many moons ago at the original Continental. Always loved it there, then loved midtown even more (just because it’s more open, spacious).
The food is always great, the service always very warm, attentive, often lots of fun. We’ve always loved the cool vibe.
You either find super people and/or train them really well.
So now we don’t live in the area any more.
We were back, meeting dear friends before heading to the airport, and Continental is where we chose to be.
It will always be a Philly fave 😊.
We had an amazing experience. The service was amazing and very welcoming while the food was delicious. The ambiance was unique and gave it a cool vibe
Service and food incredible. Sommany eclwctic food classics!
Amazing, great food and great place! Would go back for sure.
I've been here a bunch of times, and it hasn't changed much at all in the last few years. Would love some new menu items.
Great night out with friends we got 7 items for 4 people, 6 would have been plenty, good drinks great food, we had fun.
Food was all good
Always delicious and always solid.
Fun scene but VERY loud! Our main server was very friendly but the people bringing the food over were miserable 😖
One young lady practically threw our egg rolls down on the table.
Drinks were very pricey! Food was good but not amazing.
Cool atmosphere our server was so nice! Drinks were tasty. Overall great spot for girls night out
Great food and atmosphere here, some unique flavors to match the swinging chairs upstairs!
Different types of food. Eclectic me u
The server was fabulous but the food was mmediocre. Ambience was fun
Had a great girls night out in Philly and ended the night here and it was the perfect place . We even ended up being the last patrons in there because we didn’t want to live . The food , the drinks and the ambiance was all A plus! I will definitely be back , SOON!!
Reliable spot for a meal. They handle groups and it can be very noisy. Avoid peak times.
Had a fantastic dinner for our groups first visit to Philadelphia
Really interesting and varied food and drink options. We had the shoestring fries, french onion soup dumplings and the pizza. The fries are a little difficult to eat because they are so thin but they have a great flavor & came in a huge portion. I am obsessed with the dumplings. They were awesome. We split the pizza and it was the perfect amount. It was really good. The booth seating we had was really comfortable. My husband joked about adding them to our house. The decor isn't my thing, but it's funky and period-appropriate. The service was friendly and attentive. Our food and drinks came very quickly.
Went for my friends birthday. It was a great dinner..the food was delicious... our server was attentive and quick. They even brought my friend a free dessert for her birthday. Highly recommend.
Delicious food and we all enjoyed every dish. The service was just OK. I expected more attentiveness. We had to ask for basic things like napkins and water refills.
This was a great place to stop before we headed to a concert. Fabulous service and food. I’m gluten free so there was a gf menu available.
Been a big fan of this restaurant for years. The food is fun and tasty and doesn’t disappoint. We like to sit upstairs as it is a bit quieter. Menu is varied with an Asian influence and dishes are fun to share. The benches/seats in the booths upstairs could use a bit of cleaning though - they looked a little tired.
A mom and her 2 tween daughters ate here and we had a great dinner! Food was fun, lots to choose from and share. Ambiance was whimsical and fun! Would definitely recommend for families and for date night, too.
One of my favorite restaurants - food is consistent - always fresh always delicious.
