We had dinner here last night (Saturday) for our anniversary and it was amazing! We sat on the covered patio. Our server was outstanding and knowledgeable, I unfortunately do not remember his name. The food was fresh and delicious! We shared the Arancini, I had the Tagliatelle al Convivio and my husband had the Bolognese. We lived in Northern Italy for 6 months a few years ago, and this took us straight back to our nights in Torino. My husband forgot his card when we left and our server ran (in the rain) to bring it to us in the car before we left. That’s service! We will definitely be returning.

Dined outdoors on covered patio in case rain returned. Joe took fantastic care of us and everything tasted superb. All entres were hot as they supposed to be and salad great as well. Food always is delicious.

It took a long time for a server to get to us, then it took pretty long to get our drinks. We were served food but had no napkins/silverware (have hostess check table when customers are seated) but other that than it was really great. The food is excellent and sitting outdoors is wonderful.

Everything was great, excellent service, delicious food. They offer unique salads like the Beet salad or the grilled watermelon salad, it was delicious. The menu offers a variety of fresh pasta dishes to choose from, or you could order a pizza. We are regulars, we’ve never been disappointed. Can’t wait to go back.

We celebrated our second anniversary and everything was great, been looking for a good Italian place since moving here last year, we were pleased. Server was super nice and we never had to ask for anything. Outside dining was wonderful and it was still quiet.

Even with all of the restrictions placed on restaurants during COVID 19, the restaurant staff was exceptional at communicating and providing outstanding service.

Absolute worst service I’ve had in a very long time. Our server never once told us her name, never asked if we had ever dined there before (which we hadn’t). She also greeted us with water and didn’t return for over 10 minutes. Meanwhile, she was talking to regulars at the bar in total disregard that she had a table that was wanting to purchase an expensive bottle of wine (We were celebrating a life changing event). The longer we sat there, the more discouraged we became. She finally came over and asked if we were ready to order. We ordered our food and I asked for bread. Our salads came out before our bread. The best part was the food, it was delicious. Of course, our server never asked us if we liked our dinner. It was my first and more than likely my last visit to Convivio. A more friendly and engaging bartender/server would probably be in the restaurants best interest.

Food was fantastic, but the service was lacking. Felt once we ordered we were forgotten about. Server did not seem like she wanted to be there. I actually have felt that from servers next door too... maybe it’s part of the culture of the company. I work in hospitality here in Carme and can not recommend either resturant based on service not on quality of food.

Awesome as always. First time back since the covid and they are serious about social distancing with tables separated well apart. Additional new outdoor seating in what was to be their new bocce ball field. We had the shrimp and the rigatoni entrees, very tasty. Outdoor umbrellas can be tilted if needed for sun blocking.

This was my first time back to Convivio since restaurants were allowed to re-open. It didn't disappoint. The staff was welcoming and VERY conscientious about safety. I love the menu via a scan. The food was its ever excellent. This is how local restaurants should be.

Our favorite Italian restaurant in Carmel. Great salads and the pasta is made fresh at the restaurant. We were playing Billy Joel's Italian Restaurant while we dined outside.

We have previously enjoyed Convivio so it was great to return. The food and service were excellent. Also, Convivio has done a very good job with social distancing. One suggestion: Convivio did not require masks to be worn by guests inside the restaurant. We feel that guests should be required to wear masks except when seated at their table.

THE best Italian food in Indianapolis. This is the second time I have been to Convivio and everything I have ever tasted has been awesome. They make their own pasta and sauces. Their sauces are incredibly tasty but not heavy.

We did a birthday dinner here and absolutely loved it. The food was wonderful and our server, Maggie I believe, was great. We sat on the patio and it was quite enjoyable. It was our first time eating out since the pandemic started and felt like they were very good with cleaning and safety precautions.

Normally love convivio but this time we were disappointed. Our service wasn’t great and our order was put it in wrong. When they tried to correct it was wrong again and we never received what we actually ordered. Little was done to try to make it right.
