Where to even begin... simply put, this place is absolutely incredible!! Diver scallop appetizers were cooked to perfection- best scallops I’ve ever had! Brisket meal and Ribeye were delicious too! Jessie greeted us and checked to make sure we were good and our server Dylan was the freaking best!! To the chefs- whoever you may be- you deserve a raise because every single thing we tried was 5 out of 5. We dine at upscale restaurants often and this tops our list of one of the best we have ever been to. The whole experience was amazing!! Can’t wait to come back again.
The cocktails and crab cakes were fabulous!! Just go!!
Found Cork and Cap online. We enjoy seeing historical places reclaimed for new business. The history here runs deep into Lancaster history. Quiet, relaxing dinner with good food, service, pacing and price. A winner.
Quiet hole in the wall kind of place. absolutely the best meal I’ve ever had. I would come back to Lancaster just for this restaurant.
Amazing atmosphere!! Following COVID protocols to the T, I felt very self and comfortable. Our server was great and did not feel rushed at all. Food was amazing and we left very full, the portions are very large. I had the steak and my wife had the crab cakes yum. Outstanding!!!!!
Everything we had was fabulous. (filet, carb cake and crake dip) Our server was super nice and attentive. Only downside for me was no orange juice to make the drink I wanted.
Restaurant very hard to find with poor signage. Spent 10-15 minutes walking around in the cold. Called restaurant to get better idea where they were located and no one answered the phone after 10-15 rings.
Food ok, but nothing special. Seemed to be short staffed and bar tender also served as the waiter. Restaurant interior interesting with cozy atmosphere. Wouldn't rush to go back.
Great food and great service! Will be visiting again soon.
Food was phenomenal. Great service. Would highly recommend
We had a great dinner out last night. The steaks were excellent & cooked perfectly, service was great, we will be going back.
We had a wonderful dinner with the whole family! Food and drinks were great! Our server was excellent!
It’s been years since our last visit. It won’t be that long until the next time.
Enjoyed the whole experience. Good drink & dinner menu.
Excellent service and the food was fantastic! Loved the atmosphere!!
Excellent service and food!!
The place was nice, we celebrated my wife's birthday. The food was great but i didn't realized that my chicken was so pricey
Enjoyed a nice night out, great food and service.
The food was delicious. Our cocktails were tasty. Our server did a good job. We will definitely visit again soon.
Great place with great food! It was a very slow evening with hardly anyone else there but we enjoyed Cork and Cap!
The food is exceptional and the staff was amazing.
Excellent night out with social distancing being first priority with the staff in the restaurant. Food was next level and service was outstanding. Keep doing what you all are doing!!
The food was amazing and pricey but nothing too crazy. Wonderful service and ambiance. 10/10 would recommend.
Great ambience, but food and service left somewhat to desire. Our waiter had too many tables, and was difficult to maintain good service. My wife's scallops were good, but our beet salad needed some restraint on the walnut volume, and my brisket was dry and way too over cooked. Not sure we'll repeat.
Amazing food and service. I had a delicious truffletini and rosemary chicken:)
Really like the vibe here for a date night. Had the filet mignon and crabcake which was the special that night. Hands down. Best steak I’ve had in my life. Don’t usually eat crab much but it’s what senorita wanted. Tried some. Will definitely get again. Drinks were amazing. This place is 10/10. Will be coming back
The waitress was one of the best we’ve ever had! Thank you, Jessica!
Definitely would recommend this restaurant. We were lucky enough to experience before the Saturday shut down by gov wolf. Wings were incredible, meatloaf was like eating a fine steak and drinks were perfect. I don't think we could find anything wrong with our experience.
Food quality was just above average with no effort in presentation. Worst WoodFord Old-fashion I’ve ever had.
Would not repeat again. Service was extremely slow
Doing a great job with fresh food during the pandemic.
Great meal.
Good attentive service. Nice historical ambiance. Overall nice just very limited menu
Amazing food and great service.
The food was very good. My cocktail however was not. I had a cosmopolitan that was mostly cranberry juice. I needed to order a shot of vodka to make it drinkable. It was the worst $23 Cosmopolitan I’ve ever had.
We were there on Thanksgiving and had a turkey dinner. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Would definitely recommend. Very pleasant atmosphere also.
Went for Thanksgiving last year and it was great. This year, seemed sparse. Very hard, reheated rolls,1 spoon stuffing, 1 spoon mashed potatoes, 2 small slices of what appeared to be pressed turkey. Very smooth texture with gristle in each bite and no gravy at all to help with moistness. Disappointing. For $35 a plate, expected quality, especially with small serving size. Deserts were nice, not spectacular. Service was friendly. Wont be back next year.
Wonderful food and service. Our second Thanksgiving dinner. We will do it again!
Had a great time visiting Cork and Cap Restaurant in Lancaster. A hidden gem with great food and service. We have been 6-7 times and this place never disappoints even during Covid.
Service was good
Lights too bright
Steak was tough. Worst steak I have eaten in a restaurant ($30)
Beautiful restaurant! Love the crab cakes!
Since I thoroughly enjoyed a brunch wedding here last year, I figured a Sunday brunch would be an equally amazing experience. They do weddings well, but this brunch was disappointing on a few levels.
The menu was limited, moderately priced. My water glass was cracked in two places (no apology), the food took over a half hour with only two tables in our area, I asked for aioli and got hollandaise, the burger ordered was SO tall no one could possibly fit in their mouth, and my brunch scramble looked and tasted like it was a premade frozen ensemble.
I don’t generally leave poor reviews for restaurants; I love when local eateries succeed! This was just not a great experience.
These times are challenging so I hope that this was a fluke...
