The food is exceptional and the staff was amazing.
The food was amazing and pricey but nothing too crazy. Wonderful service and ambiance. 10/10 would recommend.
Great ambience, but food and service left somewhat to desire. Our waiter had too many tables, and was difficult to maintain good service. My wife's scallops were good, but our beet salad needed some restraint on the walnut volume, and my brisket was dry and way too over cooked. Not sure we'll repeat.
Amazing food and service. I had a delicious truffletini and rosemary chicken:)
Really like the vibe here for a date night. Had the filet mignon and crabcake which was the special that night. Hands down. Best steak I’ve had in my life. Don’t usually eat crab much but it’s what senorita wanted. Tried some. Will definitely get again. Drinks were amazing. This place is 10/10. Will be coming back
The waitress was one of the best we’ve ever had! Thank you, Jessica!
Definitely would recommend this restaurant. We were lucky enough to experience before the Saturday shut down by gov wolf. Wings were incredible, meatloaf was like eating a fine steak and drinks were perfect. I don't think we could find anything wrong with our experience.
Food quality was just above average with no effort in presentation. Worst WoodFord Old-fashion I’ve ever had.
Would not repeat again. Service was extremely slow
Doing a great job with fresh food during the pandemic.
Great meal.
Good attentive service. Nice historical ambiance. Overall nice just very limited menu
Amazing food and great service.
The food was very good. My cocktail however was not. I had a cosmopolitan that was mostly cranberry juice. I needed to order a shot of vodka to make it drinkable. It was the worst $23 Cosmopolitan I’ve ever had.
We were there on Thanksgiving and had a turkey dinner. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Would definitely recommend. Very pleasant atmosphere also.
Went for Thanksgiving last year and it was great. This year, seemed sparse. Very hard, reheated rolls,1 spoon stuffing, 1 spoon mashed potatoes, 2 small slices of what appeared to be pressed turkey. Very smooth texture with gristle in each bite and no gravy at all to help with moistness. Disappointing. For $35 a plate, expected quality, especially with small serving size. Deserts were nice, not spectacular. Service was friendly. Wont be back next year.
Wonderful food and service. Our second Thanksgiving dinner. We will do it again!
Had a great time visiting Cork and Cap Restaurant in Lancaster. A hidden gem with great food and service. We have been 6-7 times and this place never disappoints even during Covid.
Service was good
Lights too bright
Steak was tough. Worst steak I have eaten in a restaurant ($30)
Beautiful restaurant! Love the crab cakes!
Since I thoroughly enjoyed a brunch wedding here last year, I figured a Sunday brunch would be an equally amazing experience. They do weddings well, but this brunch was disappointing on a few levels.
The menu was limited, moderately priced. My water glass was cracked in two places (no apology), the food took over a half hour with only two tables in our area, I asked for aioli and got hollandaise, the burger ordered was SO tall no one could possibly fit in their mouth, and my brunch scramble looked and tasted like it was a premade frozen ensemble.
I don’t generally leave poor reviews for restaurants; I love when local eateries succeed! This was just not a great experience.
These times are challenging so I hope that this was a fluke...
2 meals came out cold, one meal came out 10 minutes after the others. server did not check on table at all, has to wait 10 minutes for drinks
Our table for four was met with a very congenial waitress, and the drinks and the food were outstanding. I believe that her name was Brianna. She did a wonderful job with our party!
Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was delicious!
Beautiful setting. Very quiet. Service was excelllent
Delicious meal, good service. Very few people due to pandemic. Following safety protocols. Overall an enjoyable evening out.
The restaurant experience was not good. They sat us next to a broom and dust pan when there were just a couple tables in the entire restaurant. Cleaning products... very appetizing. The food was served cold, both appetizers and dinner. We kept saying "this would be good IF it were hot." My husband ordered a filet medium rare, it was well done. And I would suggest putting some music on, you can hear everyone's conversations, which makes for an awkward situation when dining.
Food was prepared perfectly.
Ambiance is nice, private and comfortable
Our server was also the bartender based on our seat location and he was happy to do it. He was friendly and attentive. The place is spotless clean. We wore our masks when not eating to protect the staff. We absolutely will go back to this classic venue. Thank you Cork & Cap
Nice place - nice ambiance. Would have been nicer if more people had been there - it was kind of empty but it was a Wednesday night.
They are not using printed menu's and unfortunately our phone batteries were both very very low so we couldn't access the menus on line. It is expected to use the qr code to get the menus (we didn't know this). However our waiter rustled up a printed copy for us right away.
Food mostly good. My husbands briquet dish was outstanding. The chicken on my salad was very dry - overcooked but the rest of the salad was really good. We would eat there again.
Food was fabulous and Brianna was awesome. We had an amazing experience!
Celebrated our anniversary here and it was wonderful!
We had a fantastic anniversary dinner. We would definitely go again.
Ordered the duck.
Looked amazing but was so tough that I was only able to eat a few bites.
Servers response was “ i will let the chef know”
Poor by the glass wine selection.
Great night out for my Mothers B-Day. She enjoyed it very much and so did we all.
It was our first time back since quarantine and the restaurant really pulled it together. From our arrival and all through dinner our every need was met in a timely manner. Our waiter, Dan was exceptional. He was really doing everything for everyone in the room and we were so appreciative.
The food was excellent. I had brisket and it was really great. Presentation of all the food was superb.
So the service was ok. The waiter/bartender seemed under the gun and there were lapses in service. He tried to stay on it, but he had the entire restaurant to himself. He was host, bartender, and waiter.
Very slow. It took 45 minutes from ordering to our meals arriving at our table. It was Brunch!
The food was excellent & not overpriced. The restaurant is beautiful & our server Megan was awesome at her job. We had a great night.
Four of us went to Cork and Cap for lunch. We sat outside band were the only ones there the entire time. Had a great Bloody Mary and an awesome Crab Dip. Tommy, our bartender/waiter, was wonderful. Made four ladies feel like queens. We will definitely return.
Great service, delicious food & wonderful ambiance.
