Creole de Graw
Creole de Graw specializes in offering Cajun and Creole fusion dishes along with New American and French dishes on its menu. The atmosphere is quite casual and so is the dining experience. The restaurant also offers a range of wine and beers some which pair well with the dishes on offer. These include a range of seafood, vegan and meat based dishes but Creole de Graw is also known for its desserts such as the Key Lime pie.
Creole de Graw has crab mac and cheese on the menu which is a favorite with patrons along with the classic Jambalaya. However, it is the blackened chicken which is ordered quite often.
Crab Artichoke Dip
excellent brunch good value for all the food. would recommend.
Arrived for 8pm reservation. Received our cold appetizer at 8:45pm. Left the restaurant at 9:45pm as our entrees never came. We were not the only customers this was happening to. Very disappointed to say the least.
Always a good dining experience. We have been at this restaurant on at least 12 occasions and keep returning because it’s that good. French onion is the best soup and on this occasion I gotThe seafood pasta which was decent. Highly recommend give this place a try.
It was a nice experience. They need to update their menu prices. We were not the only table asking about the price on our tab.
We made reservations and arrived 10 minutes early. The hostess sat us And we proceeded to wait for around 13 minutes before we finally got up and left. We were not asked if we wanted anything to drink, no servers came and asked us anything. To add insult to injury a table that was seated after us got served drinks. Meanwhile we noticed that the hostess and the waitresses were sitting behind the counter talking and giggling.
we went to the brunch food was excellent and service was great
Great food and drinks- large portions!!
A little pricey, but the food is great, and it is a very cool, laid back atmosphere.
Our experience was outstanding as usual....our food was outrageously good, drinks were quickly served...our server was Nate, he was extremely attentive...we even got a chance to converse with Chef Bob, which is always a pleasure. Thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous music of Tony Hancock and his band. Looking forward to going back again, it is our favorite place to dine when we want great food, great atmosphere and superb service and an enjoyable evening out ♥️♥️♥️
It was like being back in New Orleans! The food was outstanding and the service was very welcoming and adept. We will definitely be back.
Good food and great service. Cute spot in historic HdG.
We were visiting the area and were looking for a place to grab dinner and hear live music within walking distance of the Vandiver Inn. The Blues/Jazz band was good and added to the casual ambiance. Food and service were good/OK; it's not a high-end restaurant so it's what were expecting. Family atmosphere earlier in the evening seemed to turn into more of a party atmosphere later. Relaxed, easy place with good food and good music. No issues and would recommend.
Food was excellent! The restaurant wasn’t full, so the sound level was good. We have been there when it is full and it can get very loud, so this was nice. Service was excellent and well paced.
Everything was great. Waitstaff was excellent. Food was slow coming from kitchen and is reason for lower raging but it was worth the wait!
Had a reservation for dinner for 4 at 4:30 on First Friday. We had a seat next to a window and the room felt just right for conversation. Three of us had salads…two with blackened shrimp and one with blackened chicken. I got the Caesar salad with anchovies and it was very tasty. The others seemed to enjoy there’s, as well. One of us had ribs, collard greens and red potatoes. The ribs were a bit overly seasoned with cumin for him but pretty average otherwise. Overall a good meal.
The oysters on the half, the Rockfish fish du jour, the Jambalaya and pecan pie were delightfully flavorful.
It was our first time there and we enjoyed the service, food and live music by Jamie Bishop immensely.
This was the best food I’ve had in a very long time. Everything we ate was perfect. Cannot wait to go back
Always a great experience. Good food and service.
The food was very good. It did take quite a while to come out from the time we ordered.
This was our second visit to CdG and with the exception of dessert, our food and drinks were excellent. We enjoyed the Ragin Cajun Bloody Mary and the Francais 75. The DeGraw dip is a don't-miss and the Voodoo Shrimp and fried oysters were delicious. Our server was lacking but the food is definitely worth bringing us back for another visit.
I ordered the crawfish boil and it was EXTREMELY spicy (and I'm someone who can handle heat) also, you can tell these crawfish weren't the best or frozen. Some of them her gray, and just didn't look or taste good at all. The crawfish fries though, were great.
Was so nice to enjoy their Sunday brunch again. Everyone at our table was happy with their meals. I had the Creole Benedict, which was cooked to perfection. Our cocktails were very good too.
Nice atmosphere and great food good service . Nice experience
Delicious! I had the crab cakes and my husband had
Was in for Sunday Brunch. I had the crab omelet and it was one of the best omelets I have ever had.
Excellent! My husband and I really enjoy our Sunday Brunch at Creole de Graw!
Excellent all the way around.
I'm so excited to find this restaurant
Food was fantastic. Service was wonderful. Prices like everywhere have jumped. Really enjoyed our meal. Blackened grouper and filet were outstanding. Looking forward to going back again.
Everything was excellent. Food and service were first class.
Great food, server had good suggestions.
Drinks were large and very good.
We were there till closing on Sunday night, the staff had dumped coffee and did not offer to make more when we asked for some. We left one table still eating when we left. But I like my coffee after a great meal.
We’ll be back again for our second visit.
Most enjoyable experience. We travelled from Pa specifically to visit this restaurant. Went to Sunday brunch and were able to order from whole menu. We enjoyed the crab cakes (Thank you, Carl Ruiz) The setting and service were all top notch. We plan to return.
Everyone was courteous and the food was great. My mom and I had crab cakes. I though they were delicious but mom thought they didn’t have enough “lump” crab meat. Drinks were great, and service was great.
Wonderful food, great atmosphere, we have been here a number of times now and we always enjoy it here
Our waitress Morgan was awesome! She was friendly, gave the us the specials and recommendations. Our glasses were never empty but she also did hoover :)
Food was delicious! The price of our meals was AMAZING! My dad LOVED the house hot sauce. Overall we had a wonderful experience, glad we came here for Father's Day.
First time trying this restaurant. Our server was great, very attentive. The kitchen was backed up, so our meals took a while to come out. The 2 appetizers we had were shrimp & grits and crab cakes were delicious. Our entrees were very good also. The drinks were good too.
Good ambience and the food selection was varied. The server was friendly and suggest food to our taste. Lastly the food tasted great. I plan to go again.
The service was initially great and overall, our server was fantastic - it just took way too long for the food to arrive. 1.25 hrs for an American restaurant is too long. We lived in Europe for 23 yrs and that could be considered long too depending on the place so not too much of a complaint. My biggest complaint is the “expectation and anticipation@ vrs. The outcome of the food. Appetizer, FANTASTIC! The veal shank, horrible! For almost 40$, you’d expect more than 4 bites! Half was fat and undercooked and a Luke warm. The Rosetta was extremely bland and couldn’t eat it. My wife got the Rock fish and it was “good enough”! We recently moved here in the historic district after 13 yrs and even in a fine dinning establishment in down town Paris you’d get a much bigger shank with little to no fat. So, disappointed to say the least after being told by numerous locals that you’re one of the best restaurants in the area. I realize there’s “off days” so we will definitely go back. We always give a place a second try! When we lived in Munich a local Japanese restaurant we were recommended to eat was horrible the first time …. The second time and literally a hundred times afterwards, it was the best in Europe. So, not a slam … just a bit disappointed when you spend 100 + dollars and felt like McD’s would’ve have better. Sorry for the negative vibes. See you soon!
Our waitress was outstanding and the best part of the evening. Food was good, but of course on the spicy side since it was creole so be ready for that. My wife had the crab cakes and said they were the best she ever had. Tuna appetizer was excellent as well as the key lime pie dessert. Didn't look like they inside changed too much from the previous restaurant...needs an upgrade. Plan to go back again...so many things on the menu I want to try.
Great atmosphere and awesome food. As a person who travels to New Orleans frequently it’s easy to be let down by others outside of NOLA offering Creole food. There was no let down here. The food was spot on. Flavorful and appropriately spiced. Can’t wait to return.
To our waitress Taylor, it was her first night and while a bit nervous she did a wonderful job.
The Red Beans and Rice was delicious. Our friend had the 1/2 Rack Ribs and thoroughly enjoyed them. My wife had the Jambalaya that came to the table a bit cool but was quickly remedied by our awesome waiter, Nate. Nate was efficient, friendly and attentive. The band, Nuthin' ta Plunder (NTP) was tremendous. We had a great time.
