Creole de Graw
Creole de Graw specializes in offering Cajun and Creole fusion dishes along with New American and French dishes on its menu. The atmosphere is quite casual and so is the dining experience. The restaurant also offers a range of wine and beers some which pair well with the dishes on offer. These include a range of seafood, vegan and meat based dishes but Creole de Graw is also known for its desserts such as the Key Lime pie.
Creole de Graw has crab mac and cheese on the menu which is a favorite with patrons along with the classic Jambalaya. However, it is the blackened chicken which is ordered quite often.
This would be like second time dining here and it was fantastic both times. The wait staff is always attentive and the consistency of your food is wonderful. We came to celebrate a birthday and everyone raved about their dishes.
Keep up the great work and the great food that you guys serve! :-)
always great food and our server, Morgan, Is terrific. Completely recommend
Our server Madison was gracious, efficient and knowing it was our anniversary she drew an adorable picture on our receipt. Made us feel special!
Nice atmosphere! Had Sunday brunch next to the window on a beautiful sunny day!
Good food as usual! Had a great waitress Breanna good service!
Always great food and service and price is excellent
This was our first time for Sunday Brunch. The seasonal martini was great which I had because I was unable to get an expresso martini because they were out of expresso vodka and I guess they could not just use expresso coffee.
Shrimp and grits was better than at Dookie Chase in New Orleans.
It’s always a fun place to be. Those little corn muffins are wonderful! Mike always takes great care of us.
Excellent food and service
Had a great meal resembling the food we got in New Orleans. Definitely going back. Staff was very friendly and had the perfect recommendations.
We were disappointed in this visit for dinner. Our server wasn't able to tell us what came with the specials and couldn't remember who ordered what when she brought food to our table. In addition, the Voodoo shrimp appetizer, although tasty, was nothing but tiny salad shrimp swimming in a red sauce. The toast points that seem to come with every appetizer were stale and extremely hard. The fish entree was rockfish prepared "bronzed" but this was nothing more than a bland, watery, red sauce. Our meals were luke warm and overpriced for what we received. Very disappointing. We won't be back.
From the moment we entered, we felt ‘at home’ as the hostess was very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is perfect. Our server was very efficient and friendly! The food was THE best I have had in some time! I ordered the Alligator meatloaf (Sat Special) with collards and mashed sweet potatoes. Truly needs to be a regular menu item!!! My husband and friends enjoyed different seafood dishes that were likewise delicious! And the portions are generous. You will not be disappointed!
The food and service were fantastic. Looking forward to next time!
Hostess was very inexperienced (borderline rude) but the waitress was great. Kitchen was a little slow, but the food was very good. Overall, a nice place for dinner.
Visited here for a birthday dinner with my boyfriend. It was quaint enjoyable and the food was very good. The service was great and on time. I liked that menu items was recommended and or explained how it was served. I would revisit and inform my friends and family about this place.
Food was good! Music was great
I had the mussels scampi
Creole de Grace is simply outstanding. If you want to try New Orleans cuisine you must go here. Excellent gumbo, crawfish étouffée and crab cakes. Service was great. Fabulous drinks.
Arrived with my wife. Place was empty besides 3 tables and some guys at the bar watching football. The hostess offered us the table right next to the front door or right next to the bar. Tons of other options but that was what was offered. After being seated, our waitress came over for the first time after 15 minutes. By that time we were already ready to order. My cup of Gumbo came within 2 minutes and was cold. 25 more minutes passed before our waitress came back to our table. She quickly says our food should be done soon and goes away. 10 more minutes later she comes back and says she thinks the chef burnt my wife’s steak and they had to start over, it’ll be right up. 10 minutes later she comes back and says they are playing it now. In this time, the other tables had finished and we were the only people waiting for food. The waitress comes by after another long period. She says it should be a few more minutes. Without any apology she says she will take a whole 5% off of my wife’s steak. At this point it had been an hour since we ordered. I asked for the check instead. This took another 10 minutes. Don’t know why they wouldn’t serve my wife and I. The waitress didn’t care at all that they ruined our night.
Overall Outstanding experience. Great food, excellent service, quiet atmosphere. I'll definitely visit again if/when I'm in the area.
This was our first time here and everything was fantastic. The food was awesome and hot so good and the drinks were great to. Our waitress Molly was fun and very attentive. We plan to go back during the day to see everything in the area. We had so much fun and we will dine here again.
Excellent first time experience. Our waitress, Holly, was exceptional. She apologized for the food being slow to come out but, I didn't mind at all. You got to digest between courses and didn't feel rushed like a lot of restaurants that bring out the courses so close together. The food was excellent as was the atmosphere. Definitely recommend you try this restaurant especially if you like creole and cajun food, which we do, having lived in Southwest Louisiana years ago.
Great dinner! Good was great
The food was absolutely amazing and we will be back!
This was our first time at Creole de Graw, the bar, dining table, food, drinks everything was great! The staff and patrons were very friendly. I cannot wait to go back!
Had my birthday dinner there and everything was great!! Definitely planning our return visit here soon!
excellent brunch good value for all the food. would recommend.
Arrived for 8pm reservation. Received our cold appetizer at 8:45pm. Left the restaurant at 9:45pm as our entrees never came. We were not the only customers this was happening to. Very disappointed to say the least.
Always a good dining experience. We have been at this restaurant on at least 12 occasions and keep returning because it’s that good. French onion is the best soup and on this occasion I gotThe seafood pasta which was decent. Highly recommend give this place a try.
It was a nice experience. They need to update their menu prices. We were not the only table asking about the price on our tab.
We made reservations and arrived 10 minutes early. The hostess sat us And we proceeded to wait for around 13 minutes before we finally got up and left. We were not asked if we wanted anything to drink, no servers came and asked us anything. To add insult to injury a table that was seated after us got served drinks. Meanwhile we noticed that the hostess and the waitresses were sitting behind the counter talking and giggling.
we went to the brunch food was excellent and service was great
Great food and drinks- large portions!!
A little pricey, but the food is great, and it is a very cool, laid back atmosphere.
Our experience was outstanding as usual....our food was outrageously good, drinks were quickly served...our server was Nate, he was extremely attentive...we even got a chance to converse with Chef Bob, which is always a pleasure. Thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous music of Tony Hancock and his band. Looking forward to going back again, it is our favorite place to dine when we want great food, great atmosphere and superb service and an enjoyable evening out ♥️♥️♥️
It was like being back in New Orleans! The food was outstanding and the service was very welcoming and adept. We will definitely be back.
Good food and great service. Cute spot in historic HdG.
We were visiting the area and were looking for a place to grab dinner and hear live music within walking distance of the Vandiver Inn. The Blues/Jazz band was good and added to the casual ambiance. Food and service were good/OK; it's not a high-end restaurant so it's what were expecting. Family atmosphere earlier in the evening seemed to turn into more of a party atmosphere later. Relaxed, easy place with good food and good music. No issues and would recommend.
Food was excellent! The restaurant wasn’t full, so the sound level was good. We have been there when it is full and it can get very loud, so this was nice. Service was excellent and well paced.
Everything was great. Waitstaff was excellent. Food was slow coming from kitchen and is reason for lower raging but it was worth the wait!
Had a reservation for dinner for 4 at 4:30 on First Friday. We had a seat next to a window and the room felt just right for conversation. Three of us had salads…two with blackened shrimp and one with blackened chicken. I got the Caesar salad with anchovies and it was very tasty. The others seemed to enjoy there’s, as well. One of us had ribs, collard greens and red potatoes. The ribs were a bit overly seasoned with cumin for him but pretty average otherwise. Overall a good meal.
