Great neighborhood spot for Father’s Day! Seemed a bit short staffed. Didn’t help our waiter was drinking with his other table and never came back to check on us. Hostess was great and did more than our waiter. Overall, we go for the lovely food and wine!

I really like this restaurant and our waitress was great.. what I didn’t like was not being informed about the change to my reservation. I requested a table on the patio but there was a private event. I cannot believe that the restaurant doesn’t go over the type of reservations that are made each day and perhaps send a message if something needs to be changed. I understood there was a private event but it should have been handled more professionally.

As always Cultivar's food was delicious - and beautifully presented. Our server Melody was delightful and attentive - It was a warm, balmy SF night - so the parklet outdoor seating was perfect too!!

I continue to go back despite numerous bad experiences and poor service. It is ALWAYS understaffed. All of our food came out at random times and all of it was cold and under cooked. The waitress never checked on us one time and our plates were never cleared.

Our server was terrific….he gave us lots of tips and was really fun and pleasant. The food was terrific and the wine was perfect. We had a ball there! We would have like to have eaten in the back garden, but had our pooch with us,,,,they said it was not allowed. I think they should change that policy.

Had a really lovely meal at Cultivar- the scallops, burrata, and ceviche were highlights for us. And of course, the wine!! The sparkling rose and the pinot are musts. The service was incredibly and friendly- can't wait to go back!

Food was excellent, as always. Our server, who was quite new, was like a seasoned pro...really terrific and was a huge positive. Front of the house was awful. Walked in and she only deigned to acknowledge me after I spoke to her. Seemed quite bored and utterly dismissive. Informed me that they could not accommodate our seating preference, which had been requested well over a month in advance, and reiterated the prior day. We were directed to a sidewalk table with a smoking, yelling street denizen as the evening entertainment. If we had known in advance that they couldn't seat us where requested we would have been happy to have known that and would have booked dinner elsewhere.

Croque Madame & trhe tomato soup were both excellent! It took a little longer than expected to be waited on initially but after placing our order the food arrived quickly and efficientally. I wish they had espresso service. Sadly, only drip coffee is available.

Great outdoor space in the back. Nice setting. Extensive wine offering but I was there for brunch. We had salmon eggs Benedict which I would definitely recommend. Unfortunately, for coffee, they only offered drip and it wasn't particularly good. The rest of the meal was great.

Lovely food, great service - can’t go wrong with risotto, pork belly or grilled cheese. Endive, blood orange salad was a melding of sweet, butter, crunch and creamy but missing the advertised pepinos with no explanation ( was it supply chain or a kitchen oversight?). B wine recommendations were varied. Outdoors is noisy but food is the star here. Service is terrific.

Extremely attentive staff and management. Good changes to the menu. 2019 Cultivar Oakville Chardonnay very good. Much better than the 2020 Very friendly atmosphere on a glorious sunny evening.

Loved this place!! The food and drink were amazing and one of the cutest back patios in the city! We loved it so much we went back at 3 and had a delicious Sancerre and charcuterie board!! Definitely one of our favorite spots!

Really enjoyed the food, service and personnel, but the noise level was too intense for a lovely dining experience. Ours ears were still ringing after we left! Need to damp down the acoustics. But other than the persistent racket everything else was great!

The wine and bubbly were fantastic and the service was very good. But, $24 for a ho hum chicken Caesar salad was outrageous. Also, the outdoor front dining area could really use some additional ambiance such as flowers, candles and tablecloths. Overall we will return for the over the top delicious wine.

Another wonderful meal at Cultivar. We tried both their Caesar and house salads, yum! and also their Salmon and pan-fried Chicken dishes, both were delicious. The back courtyard was warm enough, even on an usually cold SF night, and of course, the Cultivar wines were perfect (we like the Anderson Valley Pinot).
