Food was good but one of the people in our group ordered a pizza and it did not come out with the rest of the meals. Despite multiple requests about it, the pizza did not appear until the rest of our meals were finished and boxed up to go. The staff did not offer any apology or compensation, which is very frustratinf

Somewhat disappointed this time. We have been dining regularly but our last experience was not up to par. Very unorganized, perhaps a bit overbooked. We had reservations for outside and no table was available so we sat inside. Food was not as good as usual but the owner did make a point to ask us how we were doing. I’m not one to complain, I will return but I was disappointed

We arrived to find the restaurant totally closed. Not a person to be found

We made our reservation days in advance through Open Table and it was confirmed. When we arrived the hostess informed us that due to an emergency the chef had to leave and there was an hour and a half wait for food. So we left. Even though this may sound like a bad review, I think the hostess did an excellent job being up front and honest with patrons so they wouldn't sit down and be hungry and annoyed. Emergencies happen. We appreciated the honesty of the hostess and were able to go somewhere else nearby. My star review was based on previous visits.

It was my second time there and most of the evening was as I expected. Unfortunately there was a faint and at times a stronger smell of mold by the water feature. I didn’t have that the first time I was there perhaps because I sat on the parking lot side. The food and service was very good both times.

Nina was a great server. We loved how social she was and gave us the good and the bad for what type of food we wanted. Spot on employee and very sweet and loving and caring.

I ordered scallops over linguine but it came with red sauce.
It wasn’t stated on the menu.
I should have asked or been asked if I preferred a white wine sauce.
I asked that the scallops be well done or well seated but they were not.
I guess the waiter did not know how they were prepared because they were pale. I thought perhaps they would be grilled or broiled.
We had to ask for bread.
It was our anniversary. So it was just ok.

This was our second trip to Cypress Tavern and we had another excellent dinner. The outdoor seating is the best in the area as you don't see or hear the road traffic and they have a lovely covered patio. Our food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We are looking forward to visiting again.

very nice up stairsv ery quiet and relaxing at fireplace upstairs until music began at bar downstairs. then it became loud and Singer was terrible! would have been a very nice Valentines Dinner at the fireplace if music was softer. Requested a seat near fireplace for 7:00PM and when we got there the hostice told us there was someone there that paid and was just leaving and she would seat us there in a minute. They were very accommodating. food was great - had shrimp and scallops. Will return soon.

Was the first time we were there. Went for a valentines dinner the day before Valentine’s Day. They offered us the special and it was fantastic. Very nice ambiance with a casual atmosphere and very reasonable.

Sat in the bar area on a Saturday night and it was a little too loud for us but we absolutely loved the food! The grilled octopus was wonderful!

This restaurant has been going down hill ever since it opened. It originally opened as a more formal Mediterranean (read Greek) restaurant. After about a year, the quality and service started to drop. About a year ago it revamped itself as a Mediterranean tavern, serving pizza from a newly installed pizza oven and offering entertainment in its bar. That is definitely the best part of the Cypress Tavern. But the restaurant, food and service suffers horribly. We went for dinner for eight. We were seated in our own corner in the newly renovated top floor. However we were quickly forgotten. We didn't even get waiter service for 75 minutes into our adventure. Even then, we had to basically beg for bread. We ordered a bottle of wine. We sent back the glasses the first time because they were dirty. Honestly, I have never, ever, done that before in a restaurant, but they were truly disgusting. When the wine was poured and the bottle left behind on the table, it was the wrong wine. It just got worse from there. We finally finished the main course about 2 1/2 hours later. #Never going back.

We stopped here for lunch with a toddler and were able to sit outside on a sunny day. The service was just right. Attentive but not intrusive. And the launch menu had something to satisfy everyone’s taste. Would definitely return to see if dinner was equally satisfying.

Greek salad was excellent. My husband's favorite here is the veal parmesan. My lamb burger was frankly tasteless. Waitress attentive. Covered outdoor patio provided a relaxing ambiance.

It was basic

We had heard such great things about Cypress and decided to go there for our anniversary dinner. We decided to share the Poutine as an appetizer. It was very disappointing. Barely any gravy and the cheese was plain mozzarella. For 8 bucks you’d think that they would use real cheese curds. Could’ve gotten better disco fries at any diner for half the price. Our entrees came before we were done with our appetizer, and one of them was cold. Had to send it back (probably to microwave). Our waiter was good...very apologetic, but we will not be going back.

One of the best Greek Salads I’ve had since my trips to Greece. My Tuna Steak was cooked perfectly.

The food was great, the service, terrible. We sat at the bar, the blonde bartender literally forgot to look down the bar, or walk down for 45 minutes at a time. We would have ordered more food, but she didn't bother to ask us. Was our meal ok? She did not bother to ask us.
